FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS

Meldebmom writes: “Everyone seems so upset about Todd taking Tommy away from Marcie and Michael and I think Marcie and Michael are absolutely great, but if Tommy is Todd’s son, he certainly has his rights. You can say a lot about Todd, but he loves his children and would do anything for them. I personally think Starr is wonderful, especially considering her role models. If Marcie keeps Tommy, you can bet that in 5 years or so they will age him to his teens and he will come looking for his "real" father with a vengeance.”

Dear Meldebmom: I definitely agree with you that if Rex keeps the secret about Todd being Tommy’s father, it will definitely come back to slap all of them in the face sooner or later. Secrets on soap operas are like ticking time bombs and they are always revealed at the most inopportune times. I don’t disagree that Todd has rights, but even though I love the thought of him torturing Spencer (I know, I’m mean, so sue me.) Todd never thinks about the consequences of his actions and how they will reflect on those kids that he loves so much. I don’t think Todd is a very responsible parent because in all the sick things he has done, he never once took a minute to wonder how his family would be affected. As much as he hates Spencer and deserves to get revenge, he wasn’t thinking about Starr and Jack when he abducted Spencer and attacked those cops and since he knows how hurt Starr is these days about his past actions, I find it even worse that he has pulled this latest stunt which will create even more backlash for his family.

Vicky writes: “I have watched One Life to Live off and on for numerous years. I was not watching during the time frame when Larry Wolek disappeared from the storyline. Can you fill in "where" he is at this point?”

Dear Vicky: I don’t know if anyone has a clue as to where Larry Wolek is at this point. We haven’t seen him in a very long time. For a while we were getting a chance to see him every time one of the beloved citizens of Llanview was in a medical crisis, but a few years ago he disappeared altogether when a creep named Dr. Long became Chief of Staff and we never knew why Larry all of a sudden wasn’t in that position. Dr. Long lasted through a very obnoxious storyline where he was found to be selling organs on the black market. I don’t know why we didn’t get to keep Michael Storm as Dr. Larry at least on a recurring basis, but many fans like me miss him all the time. Even Dorian was Chief of Staff for about five minutes a couple of years ago. Obviously, that didn’t work out. I used to love the brother/sister relationship between Larry and Viki and I would love to see him come back one day.

Brandon writes: “Just got a comment about Spencer’s trial. They just went to closing arguments. I think it’s funny that Evangeline's people she put on the stand all could be questioned on a character basis by the defense, yet not once did Evangeline put Bo (very reputable) or any of the policemen on the stand that were at the docks that night when Spencer was trying to throw the evidence in the lake. They all could have testified to that, so it totally didn’t make sense to me about how apparently now that whole scene got "overlooked" at the trial.”

Dear Brandon: I agree completely. The list of witnesses at the trial was just a mess. There’s no way Bo should have been left off the list. Once Blair identified that gun, Bo should have been put on the stand to talk about that night on the docks. I think Evangeline would have had an easier timer getting Spencer convicted of all the other crimes he committed than the 25-year old murder of Thomas McBain. Of course, the murder was the Biggie, but as soap opera murder trials go, Spencer’s was a real dud.
