REFLECTIONS BY JILL for December 4, 2006

From Jill Berry, for About.com

I’m getting a little impatient with the Jess/Antonio/Nash storyline. As you know, I was totally against Jessica’s recent wedding to Antonio when she was so conflicted. Now we have her making love on a hotel terrace in public. Oh yes, this is the same Jessica we know and love. NOT!!! If Antonio wasn’t so turned on by Jessica’s aggressiveness, he would have realized that he was dealing with about 99% Tess in that little interlude. And finding a cigarette in Jessica’s purse was a big clue, too.

I thought Nash was so cute with Bree and it was nice that he understood why Clint came over to check on him. That little goodbye ceremony that Nash had down at the docks when he read the letter he wrote to Tess was a bit touching, but somehow Nash wasn’t nearly as sad to say adios to Tess as he would have been a while ago. His feelings have transferred to Jessica since she’s so much like Tess now and that makes it even worse for him not being able to have her. That’s going to change and it can’t be fast enough for me. I don’t think Antonio deserves to be hurt so badly and Jessica is going to have a lot of guilt to live with when she makes her final decision.

All in all, I have to say that November sweeps weren’t bad. With the New Year coming and so many changes to the show with characters coming and going, I hope things remain good. There are so many stories floating around and so many people upset about actors being let go and changes being made and I hope we all weather the storm and come out still enjoying our show.

See ya next week.
