I loved the way the mayor came storming into Bo’s office demanding that John be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, even though he has no say over what Nora decides to do as District Attorney. John totally believes that he has broken the law on several counts and figures he has to pay for his crimes, but the tables turn when just as the mayor is trying to throw the book at John, the reporters are hailing him as a hero right outside Bo’s door. Seeing that he can’t win this battle, the mayor decides to try and look like the good guy, walks out into the crowd and tells the reporters that in spite of what John did he is indeed the hero they think he is and there will be no charges against him. I just about died laughing when the mayor handed John back his badge and said he would be proud to reinstate him and pin his badge back on and John just looked at him and said, “Hey mayor, take your badge, take your job and shove it”, and followed that up with tossing the badge right at the mayor. Of course when the cameras were gone, the humiliated mayor tried to reinstate the charges against John, until Bo reminded him that it was already all over the television and Internet that he called John a hero. Bo did what he could to get John to change his mind about resigning and John just couldn’t do it. He can’t get it out of his mind that by playing by the rules; Marty was kept with Todd and abused for months. So Bo makes Antonio Chief of Detectives. All I have to say is that I hope John comes back into the fold soon.
Oh, and by the way, thanks to the reporter who was trying to interview John, we now know that Todd Manning had contributed HEAVILY to the mayor’s, as well as the judge’s campaigns. I guess Todd is picking up where Asa left off when it comes to having politicians in his pocket. We just knew there was a reason (and a nasty one) why that judge wouldn’t give John the warrant to search Todd’s house. I hope John goes after the mayor and the judge with both barrels!
I wish everyone a very warm, safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
See ya next week.

FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS
Trina writes: “I really like the characters Todd and Marty as a couple. I know they have a really bad history, but, it is so intense and they are so good together. It's kismet. (Todd is so cute, and such a good actor, I could watch him with Marty forever.) I think it would be so interesting to see Todd change because of Marty. Could he finally turn into a good guy and mend his ways? I hope so, through his feelings for Marty. I don't like John McBain as an actor or his part. Sorry, but, he's too stiff or something. I have to admit John and Blair are a spicy couple. I can't stand watching the pregnancy issue with underage Starr. It is totally wrong and I fast forward through it or put the TV on mute. Please go on and pass on this issue.”
Dear Trina: OMG. Let me get this straight. You think that it’s cute and adorable for a man to have a future with a woman whom he viciously raped while others held her down, whom he kidnapped, lied to, kept from her family and friends and had sex with again under false pretenses, BUT you DON’T think it’s okay for the show to have a storyline about a young woman who becomes pregnant by a young man who truly loves and respects her when that storyline has done nothing but give young people the benefit of the absolute truth about the consequences of one careless night? You’ve got to be kidding! Honestly, I wouldn’t do something as ridiculous as passing on the information that you think Todd’s actions are cute and Starr’s actions are wrong. Maybe you should write to the show yourself and see what happens.
Christopher writes: “I knew that sooner or later both John McBain and Todd Manning would have a final showdown. Watching John (the coolest cop on the block) take out all of his frustrations, hostility, and hatred toward Todd and all of the sick, twisted, and demented things that Todd had pulled, was a real pleasure. I honestly don't blame John for taking the law into his own hands. I commend John for his heroic actions. As I've said before, Todd doesn't deserve to live, especially after sleeping with Marty, lying to her, and literally confessing all of his sins once he had been confronted by both John and Marty.”
Dear Christopher: Yep, John is the coolest cop on the block and it didn’t upset me one bit to see him give Todd some of what he deserved for what he did to Marty and everyone else. Unlike you though, I think Todd definitely should live. He should be made to pay for everything he has done and suffer for his sick behavior. I’d never want to see John pay in prison for killing Todd. Todd begged to die and no one did him the favor. I’m glad for that.
Connie writes: “Don't you think that Starr's baby that Jess/Tess/Bess was holding looks a little big for a newborn? That baby looked to be at least six months
old, especially the way Jessica was holding her. She wasn't even cradling her like a newborn. And I don't know why the doctor could not just look at the dead baby and determine that it was not full term. I find this a little hard to believe.”
Dear Connie: Any time we get a crazy storyline like this baby storyline, we just have to suspend our disbelief because there is nothing about this mess that makes even a little bit of sense. Sure, the baby looked several months old and even sillier than that was the fact that Jess/Tess/Bess delivered the baby all by herself and was able to get up and drive the baby to the hospital, make the switch and get away unnoticed. It’s totally stupid but we keep watching. Maybe we’re crazier than Jess/Tess/Bess and Todd. LOL!
