FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS

Debbie writes: “I agree with you 100% about John and Natalie versus Jared and Natalie. There's no comparison in chemistry at all. Jolie had it in spades. Jarlie is dull and lacks chemistry. As far as the current Todd and Marty story line, do you think we could have an imposter story line on the horizon? How could the real Todd ever be redeemed after having sex with Marty? In a way, I hope there is an imposter story line because Trevor and Susan have amazing chemistry. I would like this pairing to continue and I don't see how they could do it without the imposter storyline.”

Dear Debbie: Lots of people have differing views on John/Natalie/Jared. You’ll see below that there are plenty of people who feel the opposite of what we do. That’s what makes the world go around. As far as an imposter storyline, I would hate that. Frankly, I don’t care if Todd is redeemed. For once, I’d like to see him pay for what he has done because there are some things in life that I feel are unforgivable. What Todd did to Marty is one of those things. I will never be able to see beyond the fact that Todd raped Marty years ago and has now manipulated her sexually as well as kept her from the child she so dearly loves. In light of their history, I will never be able to see any chemistry between these two people who should never be in the same room together.

Kathy writes: “I also find it strange that Marty and Todd an fall in love with each other. But if Todd tells her the truth and if she feels she can love and help him then I think that is great. There are stranger things in real life that have happened.” Dear Kathy: Strange? I don’t find it strange. I find it sick. Why would Marty want to love him and care about helping him after what he did? She’s going to hate that she had sex with him, but she’s going to hate him more for keeping her from Cole all this time. There may be stranger things in life that happen, but this rates very close to the top of my list of the most disgusting things one person can do to another.

Rustyanne writes: “When is John McBain leaving the show? I hope soon. I can't stand him. He’s such a bully. He and that tramp, Blair, deserve each other. I just can’t watch the show anymore with those two in it.”

Dear Rustyanne: Sorry to disappoint you, but I have no information that indicates that Michael Easton is leaving the show any time soon. There are always lots of rumors circulating, but there hasn’t been any announcement that he’s leaving. Sorry you can’t stand him. I sure can’t agree with you. I would have to agree that at times Blair has definitely acted like a tramp, but I’d like to think that after her experience with Spencer, she learned her lesson. But hey, I’m not counting on it. She did kind of come on to that cop when she wanted Dorian out of jail a couple of weeks ago.

Jacqui writes: “I totally agree with you about Clint. The writers have turned him into such a jerk it really makes me sick to even look at him. And how can Nora have anything to do with him? I think the fact that she does makes her just as bad as Clint.”

Dear Jacqui: Nora has been one of my biggest disappointments lately. I have always like and respected this character but when it comes to men, she has a mental block. Clint is definitely a jerk and no matter how sorry he says he is for the way he has been behaving, it doesn’t alter my opinion of him. Nora does herself a great injustice by letting him stay in her home and carrying on a relationship with him. Clint doesn’t give Nora the proper respect and that should bother Nora a lot more than it does. I’d be happy to see Clint interact with his kids for a while and stay out of the romantic field of play. He’s not good at it.
