Meanwhile, Ray arrives at La Boulaie with two plane tickets to tell Langston that they are leaving in a few hours. Langston believes she is really leaving and the tearful good-byes begin. Addie even dresses up like Langston with the colored stripes in her and all. How cute is Addie? Its so ridiculous, but I do the same thing every time. Even though I know Langston isnt going anywhere, I still cried a river over the good-byes, especially between Langston and Markko. I have to say that although I never really enjoy the teen storylines too much on soaps, this show struck gold with the group of young actors they have. Markko and Langston drawing out real tears just caused mine to flow, which makes me feel dumb on one hand since I know Im crying over something that wont even happen, but on the other hand it is a tribute to what good actors these young people are. Its nice to see Cole and Starr trying to make peace and it is obvious how much Cole loves Starr and is willing to try to understand and go along with her decision to give up their baby.
John arrives at La Boulaie because he knows that Dorian has been in contact with Jackie McNaughton. Blair and Addie have to admit that Dorian and Jackie have met and Addie lets on that Dorian told her Jackie was the exterminator. The only thing funnier than Addie dressed up like Langston was Addie dressed in her fencing outfit. I guess her list of things to do now that shes out in the real world keeps getting longer.
What a mess at the airport. Antonio and Talia are there with Sarah and they think theyre going to Colombia to find Cris. Cris, Vanessa and Lola are arriving at the airport. The hit man is walking around as a pilot waiting to shoot Ray. John and Blair arrive to make the group complete. Oh wait; the group is not complete until disgusting Clint arrives after finding out that Dorian is calling his bluff right to the end. He lets all the kids know that he tried to make a deal with Dorian to give back the company, but the company is obviously more important to her than Langston is. If you didnt think Clint was a big enough creep up to this point, then that should have sealed the deal for you. It took seeing Langston and realizing that she loves Dorian enough not to let her be blackmailed, for him to go home and realize he had made a real mess of things.
So Clint decides to try to take it all back and call Ray off and at the same time Dorian has an encounter with her conscience and tries to have Jackie call off the hit on Ray. Too bad for Dorian and Clint, the two idiots, that their attacks of conscience are too little too late. In a coincidence that could only happen on a soap opera, Ray and Dorians crew run into Cris, Vanessa and Lola at the airport and all hell breaks loose when Dorian realizes the pilot is the hit man and cries out that he has a gun. Just when hes about to shoot Ray, Vanessa pulls out a gun and she does the honors. We wont even try to figure out how Vanessa got a gun on the plane since Antonio and Talia being cops couldnt even get their guns through security. So, what happens next? Will Ray die? Will John lock up Dorian for hiring a hit man? Well, at least Langston is not going anywhere.
All I have to say about Clint is that he is now really no better than what he accused Jared of being. They both instigated ridiculous plots where they thought the end would justify the means and both ended up hurting a lot of people. Im not saying that Ray getting shot was equal to Nashs death, but you get my drift. And Dorian is a part of their club, too, since she never thinks about the consequences of her nasty plots and someone always gets hurt.
I am so disappointed in Nora. Why would a smart, ethical woman like her allow herself to be swayed by the likes of someone like Clint? Hasnt she had enough horrible men in her life? I was so sure she was close to throwing him out of the house and then he gets over on her by kissing her and trying to make her forget what a louse he is. That was worse than stupid. And then Nora talks to Renee about Clint and all I can think is that although I love Renee, she is the last person Nora should be talking to. Renee put up with so much garbage from Asa and it looks like Nora is going to follow in her footsteps. Like I said, it is very disappointing. What made me angriest was when Clint and Nora were arguing and he told her that she wasnt lily white either. I couldnt believe he compared what he is doing with Ray to twenty years ago when Nora betrayed Todd as her client. That was an all-time low for Clint but it wasnt enough to make Nora see what she was dealing with. I just dont get it.
Why is Dallas still around? Is she going to be involved with Clint? I hope Clint succumbs to her obnoxious charms because then Nora wont be able to resist kicking him to the curb. Dallas is going back to the hotel, but that wont stop her from going after Clint and taking pleasure in annoying Nora.
Dont you want to take Adriana and just knock some sense into her? She has gone way over the edge in her sorry attempt to hang on to Rex. I cant believe she is holding out so long and keeping Gigi from Rex. Shes not even moved to let Shane see him. I was glad that Bo finally let her have it when he tried to talk to her about Gigi seeing Rex and she said, Well, I let you see Rex. I guess Bo had enough of her at that point and I applauded when he said to her, You LET me see him? Balsam is like a son to me. Bo finally stood up to Adriana and threatened to use the Buchanan clout at the hospital if she kept giving everyone trouble. Go Bo! Gigi will finally get to see Rex this week and he will miraculously recover with her around. Im more than ready to say adios to Adriana.
Well, Starr had some false labor so now it wont be long before the real thing happens. Im looking forward to getting it all over with. November should be a good month with a lot of things coming to a head. Im looking forward to some good action!
See ya next week.
