FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS
Cathryn writes: I just read that they're letting Christina Chambers go. I wrote to Frank Valentini recently about what a great job she does on the show and now she's leaving. I like the chemistry between her and John and its about time they both found someone they care for. I also like the chemistry with she and Cole and the way she portrays her character is warm and caring. I always hated Susan Haskell and hope she's not returning to OLTL I'm not happy about Roxy blabbing about Rexs intention to destroy Todds plans to win custody of Tommy. That was so "unmotherly" of her to say the least.
Dear Cathryn: I really didnt like Christina Chambers as Marty when she first joined the cast but she did grow on me. As far as her relationship with John goes, it is no different to me than the way he acted around Evangeline and Natalie; still unable or afraid to show or even discuss his feelings like most adults, even the emotionally challenged ones. I love John and have learned to somewhat tolerate him being with Marty, but I still dont see him holding up his end of any relationship until he gets a grip on dealing with a relationship. And if he is ever going to do that, I think Natalie deserves to benefit when he does grow up. She has certainly given enough of herself to him with very little in return. I hope that when Marty leaves the show we dont lose Cole but I dont know how that will work out. In the beginning I could have easily lived without him but he has grown on me, too, and hes very good for Starr. Thank goodness she isnt attracted to troublesome boys with the example her father has set for her. Hey, no one ever said Roxy was motherly, but in her own way she dearly loves her kids. She is unconventional to say the least, but I love her just the way she is and so do her kids.
Adrienne writes: I was just watching some clips from YouTube based on Todd Manning's current situation concerning Tommy and when he and Margaret we talking months before she gave birth he called his unborn child a DEMON CHILD and the son of two rapists. Maybe that can be put in with the script concerning Michael & Marcie's defense to keep Tommy. Todd never wanted Tommy. He just wanted to get rid of his mother.
Dear Adrienne: With all the bad things that the judge has already heard about Todd, its shocking that he needs to hear another word before he throws Todd and his case out of court, but somehow this fiasco is going to turn Todds way and if the judge knows so many horrific things about Todd and still wants to hear more, I dont know what would convince him to never let Todd have custody of that child.
Jane writes: I just wanted to say I'm very disappointed in your continued bashing of Natalie on OLTL. I mean what is the deal with that? I thought you liked Natalie? I really disagree with you 100% about your opinion on Natalie and her actions lately. I think Natalie was justified in letting loose for one night, I mean the woman had just seen the man she loves kissing another woman for the first time since they broke up. She deserves to be upset. And where you get that Nat is acting like a bimbo is beyond me. I mean Jess and Marty whom you claimed to love so much and Van not to mention lots of other women on the show have done much worse. But opinions mean very little and I know now to not read yours any longer.
Dear Jane: I have always been and continue to be a fan of Natalies. However, that does not mean that I have to like all of her behavior and overlook what I dont like just because Im a fan of hers. Yes, Natalie saw John kissing Marty. I am sorry, but I cant agree that it was okay for her to get so drunk that she woke up in bed with a stranger. Was it okay for Natalie to grab Miles at Rodis and plant a big old smacker on his lips to make John jealous when she saw him walk in with Marty? I think some level of maturity should be expected of Natalie at this point. I want her to grow up and do well but getting drunk and waking up with Jared (not to mention that office massage) is not what I call acceptable behavior just because she has a right to be upset. And by the way, Im sorry for you if you dont want to read something because it differs with your opinion. Youre certainly not obligated to read mine, but I like reading yours as well as everybody elses.
