FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS

Danielle writes: “Lo and behold!! So convenient that Nash will now be bailed out financially by Jessica. Hmm. He planned that one right, huh? Surprise! What a worthless bum. What a mooch. Never participated in an honest day's work in his life and still doesn't. Pathetic. Where's the hook?”

Dear Danielle: I don’t for a minute believe that Nash planned all this time to hook up with Jessica to get his hands on the Buchanan money. That is totally ridiculous. He could have found himself another pathetic, needy, rich girl like Claudia if that was his intention. Do I think he was stupid to get into that card game and lose all his money? Definitely! Do I think he’s pathetic and a mooch who never worked a day in his life? No, I don’t, but in truly predictable soap fashion, he is being written in a way that makes people who never liked him anyway jump on the convenient “We hate Nash” bandwagon. It’s tiresome. He has never done anything since he’s been with Tess or Jessica to make anyone believe that he wants a free ride. The vineyard is his dream and although he has not made the wisest decisions regarding that dream lately, I don’t see him as the person he used to be.

Chloe writes: “Miles has never been around anybody but Spencer Truman, so no wonder he acts the way he does. I think he could be a nice guy if exposed to the right people. He didn't even like some of the things he did. I hate to see Asa gone. He always added some fire to the show. When Todd finds out about Tommy, he'll be like a hurricane and destroy everyone in his path to get Tommy. Bring Ben back. Clint is too icky for Viki.”

Dear Chloe: I can’t find one good reason to give Miles a break at this point. He has done some really awful things in the name of what he calls love and he’s been around long enough to know that his way is not the right way. He nearly got Marty badly hurt when he hired those thugs to carjack her on that deserted road and he nearly killed Todd with all those drugs including the one fatal one he tried to blackmail Cole into administering. He’s been exposed to the right people for months and I can’t find anything redeeming about him. Yes, Todd will go after his son like a bulldozer and won’t care about anyone in his path. And, OH YES, Ben needs to come back because aside from the fact that Viki’s quality of life hasn’t been nearly the same since he left, I wholeheartedly agree that Clint is WAY TO ICKY FOR VIKI!

Nancy writes: “I attended the fan club luncheon on 8/4 and it was my first time. It was fun. I don't usually do stuff like that but my friend really wanted to go. Are there any pictures from that day?”

Dear Nancy: I’m glad you enjoyed the luncheon. It’s always a good time and a great opportunity to mingle with other fans that share your enjoyment of the show. I do have a friend who was at the luncheon and took a lot of photos. I have asked her to send them to the website and when she gets back from her vacation, hopefully she’ll send in the pictures for everyone to share.

Zimbles46 writes: “In the episode where Viki and Dorian are in that card game,Viki got four aces and Dorian gets a royal straight flush - ace high. How many aces are there in a deck of cards? OOPS!”

Dear Zimbles46: Oh, I just love it when someone notices things like that. LOL, sometimes the people on the show who should be watching these things are definitely asleep at the wheel. I can’t believe I missed that one. Thanks for the good catch.
