Ah, the saga of Stacy continues. What could she be cooking up next?

After Stacy vandalized Gigi’s car, Rex was worried that she could hurt Gigi and when he found out that Gigi was alone with her at his apartment, he rushed over there to find Stacy and Gigi having a verbal tug of war. Rex immediately wanted Stacy to pack her bags and get out and said that he was pressing charges against her, but she very smugly informed him that he would be putting the mother of his child in prison. Uh-oh. We all told you Rex; you lied and lied to Gigi and now the truth has come out in the worst way possible. Stacy tries to make Rex feel guilty about putting her on the street and although wonders if the baby is even his (he knows she slept with Fish); she reminds him that she slept with Fish months ago.

So Rex doesn’t have the heart (or the guts) to put Stacy out because she cries that she has nothing and nowhere to go. This doesn’t go over well with Gigi, which we knew was coming. Rex keeps trying to convince Gigi that he is with her and Shane forever, but he can’t just ignore the fact that the baby exists. All Gigi can see (and rightfully so) is that Stacy will be a noose around her neck and a threat to her family forever. Gigi is right of course, because it is hard enough to deal with a child from an outside stupid act (and it was surely a stupid act), but when you combine that with the fact that Stacy is an evil, manipulative little tramp, the ramifications could be devastating to Gigi and Shane. Rex was kidding himself to think he could handle the whole situation, especially when he thought lying over and over was the right thing to do.

But the whole situation was drastically changed when Gigi went over to see Stacy and offered her money to get an abortion. Now, I’m not coming down on either side of that tricky fence, but I will say that Gigi has been through hell at the hands of her sister and although she was behaving in a way she wasn’t later proud of, I can see how she acted out of desperation. I was very glad that Gigi went home and told Rex what she had done because there have been enough secrets and even though Rex might have been hurt that Gigi could think of wanting his baby gone, he was wise not to hold it against her. However, Stacy was very upset about Gigi’s offer and as she was storming around the apartment, she starting having pains and miscarried the baby. She will, of course, blame this on Gigi and even though Rex forgave Gigi for what she did, will he be so forgiving when he realizes that she lost the baby after their big altercation? Oh, and could anything been more disgusting than when Stacy told Gigi, “I’m going to give Rex a healthy baby, not like that wheezy brat of yours.” That’s sweet Aunt Stacy for you. And did you laugh as much as I did when Stacy told Gigi, “Take your money and get out of MY house! HER HOUSE?

I felt sorry for Shane when Rex told him about the baby. He is afraid that the baby would take Rex away from him and his mom and he gets very upset. Who could blame him? Shane is much more realistic than his father when it comes to facing the facts.

At any rate, for now the miscarriage is a moot point because Stacy, through all of her grief over losing the baby, quickly figured out that if she let the paramedics take her to the hospital, there would be a record of the miscarriage and as distraught as she was, she was coherent enough to realize that she had to start concocting a lie immediately. Did anyone think she would admit to losing the one thing in the world that tied her to Rex? Who can imagine what she has planned next? She is living in a dream world where she believes that she can hang on to Rex as long as he thinks there is a baby. Rex rushes over to make sure Stacy didn’t have the abortion and he tells her that even though she could be having his baby, he and Gigi are together and nothing is going to change that. Stacy was taken aback by that and why shouldn’t she be? She lives in a fantasy world where Rex would just drop everything and fall madly in love with her and her non-baby.

Schuyler is figuring into this whole mess because he has fallen for Gigi and claims to be concerned about her as a friend (and he is a good friend). Rex sees through it and tells Schuyler to back off from Gigi and leave them alone. Schuyler can’t do that since his concern is for Gigi in this whole mess. He made a very good point when he asked Rex, “Why can’t you give Gigi the one thing she wants, throwing Stacy out?” Rex doesn’t want Schuyler butting in, but Schuyler can’t help himself and when Rex heads over to give Stacy some ground rules, he goes to see Gigi. He sees how upset she is and not being able to help himself, he kisses her. Oh boy! Gigi is totally shocked because although she values Schuyler as a friend, she had no clue that he had romantic feelings for her. He apologizes profusely because he doesn’t want to lose her friendship and after just about getting over the weirdness of it all, Gigi agrees to put it behind them. But in the new wave of not keeping secrets, she tells Rex that Schuyler kissed her. Oh Boy!

On we go to the big double wedding. I don’t know about you, but I thought this was a very silly thing to do, especially since I think it kind of ruined the focus on the happiness of Viki and Charlie. Clint couldn’t wait to marry Nora because he is so insecure that waiting only meant giving her time to change her mind. And Nora and Bo couldn’t take their eyes off each other during the ceremony and even during her first dance with Clint. Viki and Charlie had a few nice moments, but it would have been so much nicer if they had their own special day.
