Wow, those were some intense scenes between Jessica and Antonio. I guess she felt like she had to go see him to thank him for saving her life, but it was hard to watch because it was so painful for him. There really wasn’t anything Jessica could say that would make things any better. It sure wasn’t any consolation to Antonio when Jessica told him that a part of her would always love him and that he would always be a part of her life. And when she told him that a part of him is inside her keeping her alive and they would have to find a way to deal with that, I thought she should have just backed off and let him live with the situation for a while before trying to push her desire to keep some kind of relationship going. Jessica is hurting very badly because she felt she had no choice but to be with Nash, but it really wasn’t the time to bring up how much she loves and misses Jamie. Jamie is the biggest casualty of this terrible situation and in addition to Antonio having to deal with his own life, he has to put his little girl first and make things right for her. Right now, he doesn’t need to hear how bad Jessica feels about everything, especially Jamie. I didn’t blame him a bit when he said, “You hurt her Jess and I’m not going to allow you to damage her any more.”

Even though I am very happy about Jessica and Nash, I felt terrible for Antonio and knowing what a proud man he is, Jessica needs to leave him alone for a while. He said it all when he looked at her and said, “I love you but I just don’t like you. I don’t know you any more.” His pain was so evident, even with Cristian and Talia when he told Cristian that he had just spent the last four years of his life with a woman he didn’t even know and when he told Talia that he wanted to hate Jessica so that he could forget about her but he can’t because he still loves her. And did we need that nurse to return his wedding ring to him just when he and Jessica were having that heart to heart? Talk about awkward moments! I thought Antonio would throw it across the room and it was a sign of how defeated he feels that he just held it out in his hand and let it drop to the floor.

I’m glad that at least Nash and Jessica are going to wait a while before she divorces Antonio and they get married. I think Antonio has enough to deal with right now. I think he’s going to initiate the divorce anyway, so that’s probably not far off. Jessica’s health problems aren’t over so she will have plenty to deal with for a while. I’ll be happy when Antonio is up and around and getting back to his life so that I can enjoy what I’ve been waiting all this time for which is some happiness for Jessica and Nash (Not that Antonio will be over Jess any time soon but life will go on).

Okay, let’s talk about Miles. Oh boy, all I can say is that this guy is wonderful if you are on a diet. He makes me lose my appetite every time I see his mug, which might be a good thing since I watch every night during dinner. I have to hand it to Cole. The kid doesn’t pull any punches. He doesn’t trust the creep and wants to know why his mother married him and he doesn’t care how he finds out the truth. Plus there is the added incentive to help Starr find Todd. I laughed when Miles caught Cole going through his bag and Cole didn’t even care. Does Miles really think anyone cares that he thinks Cole is disrespectful to him?

But let’s get down to the real source of my upset stomach. Oh yes, the wedding night. Not only is Miles obnoxious, insane and a menace, but he is delusional. Did he really think Marty was going to have sex with him? Okay, I let out the biggest EWWWWWW when he looked at Marty and said, “It’s time to consummate our marriage. It’s our wedding night and I can’t wait to make love to my wife.” Oh Lordy, I swear I was waiting for him to say, “I can’t wait to show you what that hooker taught me.” I got even sicker when he said, “I know how to please a woman. I have it on good authority that lovemaking is something I’m very good at.” WHO SAYS THINGS LIKE THAT? I couldn’t actually believe that Marty agreed to sleep in the same bed with him. She should have worn a parka to bed. And let me just say that her bed is way too small to share if you don’t want to be touched. If I were Marty, I would make his sleep in a sleeping bag. No one would have to know. That’s what bedroom door locks are for. She looked pretty good the next day for someone who couldn’t have possibly closed her eyes and slept a wink. You could tell Marty was getting sick of Miles’ threats when he told her not to make him wait too long and she handed him the phone and told him to call John and turn her in.

I died laughing when John stopped by Marty’s apartment to see her and Miles, knowing it was John at the door, stripped off his shirt before he answered it and said, “No, you can’t see her. My wife and I are kind of busy.” I was surprised John didn’t burst out laughing when Miles shut the door in his face. Well, John never bursts out laughing, but you know what I mean. Miles is pushing the wrong man when he pushes John and I was glad that Marty admitted so quickly to John that she killed Spencer. Not that he believes her, but at least now he knows what he’s dealing with. It’s too bad Marty didn’t admit to John that Miles was blackmailing her and warn him that Miles threatened to hurt him, but John is no fool. She doesn’t have to admit it.

John’s visit with David was pretty funny especially when John tried to coerce David into admitting he was innocent and David asked him why he couldn’t just be happy that Spencer was dead. John’s response was so fitting when he said, “I’ll probably be happy when I’m dead.” That just about sums it up for John. It certainly was easy for John to make David cave in when he threatened him with solitary confinement, but now David is going to be furious with Dorian for making him lose $10 million dollars and he’s going to demand she give him the money. Good luck to Dorian.
