FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS
Donna writes: I don't understand how Cole could be older than Starr, because when Marty got together with Patrick, Starr was about two years old and Marty did not have a child then.
Dear Donna: I dont know how long you have been watching soaps, but children almost never age normally. If they needed Cole to be older than Starr, then its as simple as that and POOF, Cole materialized and was born a year before her. Strangely enough, Kristen Alderson has been with the show for about 10 years and she has actually aged pretty much in a real world way. It is nice to see that happen but it is very rare on soaps. Things change to suit the storyline and continuity has very little to do with it.
Sharon writes: Well, Todd found Starr and Cole, and of course he had to punch Cole right away. He constantly gets away with abusing every one of those kids. Cole was trying to protect Starr. When Starr went flying down the steps, Todd had that look on his face like he had no clue that he had anything to do with Starr falling and he won't accept any responsibility for it, either. I still can't understand how that idiot judge thought Todd would be a better Father for Sam than Michael. Thank God John is in the picture. He can protect Cole.
Dear Sharon: Its like I said to the fan above; Todd keeps getting away with abusing everyone in Llanview but of course he would never get away with these atrocities in real life. There is no way that Todd could allow himself to believe that he was responsible for hurting Starr because it would be too awful for him to face the fact that hes that horrible that he would just toss her down a flight of stairs to get another punch in on Cole when he supposedly loves her more than life itself. And as for that idiot judge awarding Todd custody of that little boy; stay tuned because Todd is about to pay in ways he never imagined. There will be some justice for his victims.
Mccalebbk writes: I believe Todd has every right to know about Starrs whereabouts. She is just 16 years old, remember? Blair is not a strong mother; she is more like a friend and that is wrong. Also John is so wrong to keep information from Todd about his little girl. What a real jerk!
Dear Mccalebbk: Under normal circumstances, I would agree that if a young woman like Starr runs away her parents have a right to know where she is, but we are talking about Todd here and there is no one in Llanview who believes that he would let Cole live if he found out the truth. John is looking out for everyone in this situation. He has a responsibility to Cole and feels very close to him, not to mention that he promised Marty hed take care of Cole. John has also been a good friend to Blair and he respects Starr enough to treat her like a person and not a prison like her father has been doing. John is about as far from being a jerk as I can imagine. Todd was ready to kill Cole without knowing that she is pregnant. And as for Blair, I am the first to admit that she has not always been the best of mothers, but she is exactly what Starr needs now and that is a parent who loves and supports her unconditionally. Its just too bad that Blair made Starr feel like she couldnt trust her before this.
Nancy writes: I have ALWAYS HATED the character of Carlo Hesser and not as in "love to hate" but as in fast forward hate! I can't believe we're in essence, getting rid of Nash, whom I love and also like to look at, to make room for a creepy, slimy, very hard to watch character like Carlo Hesser. Just my opinion but I just had to let someone know I'll be watching less when Nash is gone and Carlo is back.
Dear Nancy: I agree with you 100000% I am so OVER Carlo Hesser and cant imagine why we need him back in Llanview again. Hes going to tie into storylines that I already want to see disappear and I totally agree that destroying characters like Nash so that we can have yet another criminal maniac back on the canvas is not my idea of entertainment. Unfortunately, there are a lot of fans that will welcome the return of Carlo and maybe they think it is worth sacrificing other characters. Not me. Now, get rid of Ramsey and bring me back Tim Gibbs as Kevin Buchanan and then well have a change I can get behind. In any case, Im very unhappy about losing Nash.
