This feud between Rex and Tate is going to heat up because Rex thinks he has successfully threatened Tate by saying hell doctor pictures of him in womens lingerie, but Tate has Adrianas phone and once he listens to those messages from Rex about Todds baby (and you know he will), he will either try to blackmail Rex into walking away from Adriana, or hell go right to Todd and tell him the truth and that Rex had the information all along. Either way, Rex is probably headed for trouble courtesy of The Tate. And the bottom line is that Adriana is very dedicated to making her career work and I think she could very possibly get sucked in by Tate. Im hoping that Layla smacks some sense into her.
Once again, Cristian is nothing but a big bully. Im very sick of his attitude and behavior with everyone. Sure, he has a right to know if Evangeline is pregnant, but its her right to her privacy and to give him the information she feels he needs to know when she knows it herself. He was totally out of line when he grabbed the bag out of her hand and pulled out the home pregnancy test. She should have just slapped his face and walked away. He kicked her to the curb (not that she didnt give him reason to) and now he needs to respect her privacy. He should know that if she were pregnant, she wouldnt keep it from him. And it didnt help him any to wonder if Todd could be the father if shes pregnant. Cristian goes into every situation like a bull in a china shop and everyone comes around once he calms down and softens up. I wouldnt let him off the hook so easy if I were Evangeline. He bullied her and its really getting boring to watch him do it all the time.
So, Miles has given new meaning to the term taking private lessons. How funny! When he got the bartender to set him up with a hooker so he could have private training in the bedroom, I was thinking of what Renee would do if she found out her bartender at The Palace was provided such services for her guests. I guess we found out when she stormed over and confronted the hooker. And talk about the cat that ate the canary. Old Miles certainly was the proverbial happy camper after his romp with Jordan, wasnt he? There is such a big ICK factor in all this. And wont Marty be duly impressed and flattered to know that Miles solicited a hooker to teach him how to pleasure her?
I was proud of Natalie for quitting her job at the police station and trying to move on by asking Asa for a job at Buchanan Enterprises. Old John the Silent One doesnt have much to say when they run into each other in the locker room and she has the picture of the two of them hanging in her locker. At least Natalie is honest and open about her feelings and about how awkward it is running into each other. Its a shame that John couldnt come out and say how he really feels and we had to watch him wait until Natalie walked away to show that he still carries her picture in his wallet. And it was very telling when John was with Marty later on at the bar and she mentioned moving on and John said he didnt like that phrase and didnt even know if it was possible. Did you think it was a bit nervy of John to tell Natalie she was making a mistake by going to work for Asa? Hey, maybe it is a mistake, but I dont think he has the right to pass judgment on what she does, even if it is his way of telling her he just wants her to be happy. If John was so interested in Natalies happiness, he would have worked harder to make things work in their relationship before he bailed out.
Aside from Starr, did you think any of those kids had any singing talent? Hmmm, no offense to any of the young actors, but I hope Starr gets most of the singing parts in the high school show. Sadly, there is going to be a hostage situation at the school when poor, unsuspecting Henry realizes hes been duped by Brittany. It seems that he has been mistreated in school for a long time and now at the end of his rope he takes the students hostage. I did read that what was supposed to be a killing and suicide has been changed since the Virginia Tech tragedy and I am glad that the show has decided not to go in that direction.
And in conclusion, I enjoyed one of my favorite things on the show last week and that was the girl talk between Nora, Viki and Marty. I have always loved when the women get together to dish about their love lives and this was the best and funniest Ive seen in a very long time. I especially loved the fact that the conversation revolved around Sam and Ben, but you already knew that, right? Each line was funnier than the last when Nora started out by saying that shes been dreaming about Sam. I dont think either Nora or Viki was going to convince Marty at this point that she could find love again after Patrick, but it was sure fun watching them try. I always enjoy hearing Viki reminisce about Ben, like when she said she never thought shes have passion in her life again and then he came along and changed everything for her. But what really had me falling off my chair laughing was Noras line when she said, Look at us. How pathetic are we? The last great sex we had was with dead guys. And Marty said it all when she replied, At least they knew what they were doing when they were alive. When everyone toasted with Amen I couldnt have agreed more. Imagine how great it would be if we had some men on the show like Sam, Ben and Patrick right now. The only one that comes close is Bo and although hes great in the romance department and knows how to treat a lady, we never get to see enough of him. That figures, doesnt it? Anyway, the girl talk was great and its nice to see Hillary Smith back in the saddle and treating us to Noras humor again. Its too bad that all these three women have left are memories of their wonderful men. AMEN!
See ya next week.
