I have to give that guy credit. The cuts and bruises on his face havent even healed yet and he has the nerve to show up at La Boulaie and confront Todd. Good for him! Hes too young and naïve to understand that nothing he can do or say will affect Todd Manning when he has his mind set on something ridiculous, but Cole said what he had to say and I give him a lot of credit for that. He loves Starr and that is all that matters to him. I loved it when he said, You suck at showing your daughter you love her. And he really hit the nail on the head when Todd had the nerve to mention his mother and he replied, Thats what this is about, isnt it? My mom is dead and now you cant make it up to her for what you did to her. Id never do to Starr what you did to my mom and I am nothing like you. I found it unbelievable when Todd was so shocked that Cole blamed him for whats been going on with Starr. It was a real case of the pot calling the kettle black when Todd said, Youre blaming me? Its always someone elses fault isnt it? OMG, Todd is the master at blaming others for all the damage he does every day hes alive.
And now Starr has decided that she has no choice but to have an abortion. Without getting into the right and wrong of this issue, who is really to blame here? Starr is acting on one emotion and that is deadly fear. She knows that if Todd finds out shes pregnant he will kill Cole and I dont blame her for truly believing that. She has been put in a horrible position where she cant go to her parents (which is something she should be able to do) for help and guidance in this situation. At the age of 16, this is not a decision she should feel she has to make alone. Shes lucky she at least has Langston to talk to and Langston was put in a very difficult position having to keep Starrs secret and help her get to Atlantic City. Boy, I feel sorry for Shawn when Todd finds out that Langston dressed up as Starr to fool him and it worked. It is obvious that Shawn doesnt agree with Todds methods either, but hes just doing his job. I found it really telling though, when Todd asked Shawn about how Starr is doing in school and if she is smiling with her friends when she comes out and Shawn said, I dont remember ever seeing your daughter smile. I rest my case. I supposed Cole will arrive at the abortion clinic on time. What will happen next? And can I just say that Starr hit the nail on the head when she was using Jack as a decoy to get out of the house and Langston was worried that Jack would tell the truth? How true was it when Starr said, Jack wont say anything. Hes a Manning and he knows how to lie. John and Antonio really went at each other in that motel room didnt they? Do we have any men left on the show without bruised faces? I want to know what John and Talia are up to because there is no way that John would go after his good friends woman. John obviously thinks he can find out what Ramsey is up to with Talia on his side and I hope it happens soon. Ramsey is having entirely too much fun; especially with the way he is dangling Antonio on a string. I just hope that Antonio is playing along with Ramsey and being the good little employee so that he can bury the guy. Hes stupid for not teaming up with John in the first place, but go figure. He just went along and accepted Ramseys excuse for sending him to that motel and setting him up to find John with Talia when Ramsey told him that he needed to see what was going on for himself. And is Llanview such a boring place that the biggest story in town is that John and Talia are supposedly sleeping together? It was all everyone was talking about last week and I thought it was ridiculous. What was even more ridiculous was Jessica hearing about it and running to console Antonio. Is she kidding? She had a lot of nerve reading Talia the riot act for hurting Antonio and I was glad that Talia went right back at her and reminded her that she was married to Antonio, cheated on him and ruined his life in the first place. I cant believe that Jessica thought she was being helpful when she tried to console Antonio. She deserved a lot more hostility than she got and he was much nicer to her than I thought he needed to be. Im very disappointed in Jessica these days. Now we come to Nash and Sarah. Thats another topic of conversation all over Llanview. Antonio warns Cristian not to trust Nash; Cristian tells Jessica that he feels weird about Nash and Sarah; Natalie confronts Sarah about being away with Nash. What is going on? Some people in that town need a life. I will say that I thought it was very questionable for Nash to be sitting around that hotel suite in his boxers while Sarah sat around in her nightgown. Nash didnt even remember he wasnt dressed. Come on! And the most ridiculous thing was when Sarah finally called Cristian and said she was sorry she didnt call sooner but she couldnt find her phone. Excuse me, when did top of the line hotels stop having phones in every room, including the bathrooms? That was very lame. I think the writers can do so much better.
