FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS

Opalmeme writes: “Could you please tell me where to find the song (disc or tape) "ONE LIFE MANY VOICES". I have a sister who is very ill that watches this show over and over each day. She wants this song really bad. I would really appreciate your help.”

Dear Opalmeme: There is a website called onelifemanyvoices.com. I checked it out and you can order the CD over there. I think the price is $20.00. I hope your sister enjoys it.

Pat Ice writes: “I have been watching off and on and just started watching again before John had his accident that burned his body. I want to know will Todd and Blair ever get back together? Maybe once Todd finds out Michael and Marcie have his baby, he’ll try for custody and Blair will go back to him. They make a good couple and have good chemistry. Another question I have is could we see Tina Lord back soon? I’d love to see her and also Hugh Hughes.”

Dear Pat Ice: It’s a pretty well known fact that eventually Todd and Blair will get back together, but until then, we just have to go through all the side trips they’re going to take along the way. I don’t know if Todd finding out about the baby will bring Blair back to him, but I hope we don’t have to watch them doing battle for too long. As far as Tina Lord goes, there have been rumors for years that she will be coming back to Llanview but for right now, there is nothing definite going on to bring her back as far as I know. And I don’t think Hugh has a future on the show either, sorry.

Lward4 writes: “I think I am finally off the John and Natalie wagon. The other fan was right! John's appreciation for his life is back to the same old, same, old, same old. Natalie is going to be nutsy because the man she is in love with doesn't consider her a partner. Worse yet, I don't think Marty and John are that bad together. Give Bo a hot chick he can keep for Crum’s sake. Give Dorian to Clint so they will stay awake and not be boring all the time. Clint would be more than busy cleaning up after Dorian and putting out all the fires she starts. Oh, fires, that reminds me. I just want my David and my Ben darnnit!”

Dear Lward4: I love your enthusiasm! I say yes to giving Bo a hot chick he can keep. I don’t know who Crum is, LOL, but for Crum’s sake I agree with you. I can’t agree with John and Marty being together. Marty needs too much therapy herself and dealing with John could just put her over the edge. And John doesn’t do feelings well enough to handle her either. So far Natalie is the only one I think has the chops to stick with this guy no matter what and who knows how long that will last? Oh yes, I agree about Dorian and Clint. They are more interesting to me that Clint and Viki but I am biased and like you, I miss David and I want nothing more than to have MY BEN BACK darnit!

Missy writes: “I just read your most recent column and I noticed you wrote that you hadn't heard from many John and Natalie fans lately, so I thought I'd write and let you know that we are still out here (and there are lots of us). Quite frankly, I think you can attribute the lack of communication from John and Natalie fans as a sign of our sheer exhaustion. I know that I don't speak for all of the fans, but I feel my sentiments are shared by many. We love John and Natalie as a couple, and we respect the individual acting talents of Melissa Archer and Michael Easton. Unfortunately, it feels like we are constantly having to defend our couple from the OLTL fans, who dislike the character of Natalie and will therefore claim to see a romantic connection between John and any other woman on the show. Moreover, most John and Natalie fans are just sick and tired of the constant angst John and Natalie have to face every day. We enjoy drama just as much as the other soap fans, but enough is enough. John and Natalie fans have waited over three years for this couple to get it right. During that time, we've had to endure interference from third parties, internal angst, and constant fighting. Now, please don't get me wrong, I'm not (and most J&N fans are not) giving up on this couple any time soon because there is just too much potential there to give up, and all of us wouldn't enjoy OLTL half as much without them. We are, however, in desperate need of some happiness for our couple. All of this drama is getting exhausting. To that end, do you think there will be any substantial happiness for our couple before sweeps is finished?”

Dear Missy: Because of lack of allotted space, I don’t normally post entire e-mails when they are as long as yours, but I think you made your point so well that I couldn’t resist, so I’ll keep my reply short because you said it all better than I could. We’ve had enough drama for John and Natalie for a while and I think you put it most eloquently when you talked about the exhaustion their fans suffer from rooting for this couple. I’m with you; I’m not giving up and in answer to your questions, I wish I had a clue as to whether or not we can expect some happiness for John and Natalie this month. Like you, all I can do is keep watching and hope for the best.
