And theres Clint, as undecided as ever, being with Viki for Asa and Renees anniversary and not being able to keep from staring at Dorian across the restaurant. I thought it was ridiculous when Viki caught him looking over at Dorian and jumped in and invited him to Llanfair for a nightcap. Why is Viki putting herself in a nasty little competition with Dorian for Clint? Id say she deserves so much better, but youve heard me say that a few times already.
And even if I have never had much patience for her, its good to see the old Lindsay back. I felt like I was back in the good old days when Lindsay said to Dorian, You know, Im sorry that I didnt put a pillow over Noras face and smother her when she was in that coma. WAY TO MOVE ON, LINDSAY! I just cant wait to see Noras side of this battle heat up.
And congratulations to Asa and Renee on another anniversary. Which one is this? And from which marriage? I wont even try to figure this one out. It would take me longer than figuring out who killed Spencer and who is setting all the fires.
See ya next week.

FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS
Danielle writes: I was wondering what your thoughts were about the recast of Christina Chambers in the pivotal roll of Marty Saybrooke? I have to say that I find it unbearable at times to watch when Marty is on screen, Ms. Chambers I found often looks bored, stiff and emotionless when onscreen, you can never get a good read on what emotion she is trying to get across and usually only has on or two facial expression. Her scenes with Todd Manning are supposed to be intense and filled with unresolved feelings and anger I don't feel that from her when they are on screen together, I feel nothing from her no emotions and no feelings. I also, do not understand why she is in scenes at all with John McBain; to me that is worse than her scenes with Todd. There is no chemistry there at all and the scenes often fall flat and seem forced. Marty was never a victim. She was strong and fearless and Susan Haskell portrayed that wonderfully and with Christina Chamber's version you get the feeling that she is playing the victim and that is not who Marty is. She never played the victim.
Dear Danielle: I have to agree with you to an extent. I think the role of Marty is one that is totally identified with Susan Haskell and its one of those roles where the original actress is hard to replace. Its sometimes hard to look at an actor or actress and see the character that you feel you know so well when they are so very different from the original. Yes, Marty was definitely never a victim and I guess theyre trying to show that her ordeal with Spencer is bringing up emotions that she probably thinks she has totally dealt with, but has not. And although I dont like it a bit, the reason Marty is in those scenes with John is because there is going to be a connection between these two that I am not looking forward to. Of course, this will cause trouble for John and Natalie, but as some people think, John and Natalie are doing a good enough job of getting on each others nerves without any outside help.
Vickie writes As for a Benji and Viki reunion, glad I won't have to see it. Those two simply made me GAG! I couldn't stand to watch them!! I'm glad Clint's back in town and look forward to him kicking Dorian to the curb because that pairing makes absolutely no sense as far as storyline is concerned.
Dear Vickie: Viki and Ben made you gag? Gee, you sure do have a weak stomach. It kind of makes me gag to see Viki wind up with Clint for a third time when she had the most fun with his younger brother and said herself that she was more in love with him than any other man shes been with. I understand and respect your opinion. Clint doesnt make me gag; he just annoys me when he vacillates between a real and classy woman like Viki and a nasty, self-absorbed woman like Dorian. Viki deserves so much better. And when it comes to unlikely reunions on soap operas, heres my advice. Never Say Never!
