REFLECTIONS BY JILL for January 1, 2007

From

Just hearing Dorian say, “Viki, you are such a slut” made me choke with laughter. The only thing funnier was the expression on Viki’s face when she said it. I even felt embarrassed for Dorian when she so blatantly showed her jealousy and insecurity to Viki. Dorian sure wasn’t shy about accusing Viki of trying to take Clint away from her and somehow she always finds something to throw at Viki that’s just a little below the belt, like when she said, “Everybody knows you will be mourning Ben until the end of time and yet you keep trying to sink your claws in to Clint.” Whether she wants Clint or not, I did enjoy Viki’s reply when she said, “Whether or not I want Clint for myself, I am going to make damn sure he doesn’t wind up with you and believe me, I have better ammunition than you do.” Never let it be said that Viki can’t hold her own with anybody.

I would have loved to see Dorian’s face if she knew that Viki told Clint he should stay over at Llanfair because of the snow. And what timing when little Bree cried just as Viki and Clint were about to lock lips. I guess Viki said it all when she said, “Saved by the baby.”

We sure got a glimpse of the new Jessica on New Year’s Eve, didn’t we? She sure didn’t hesitate to rip off her jacket so Cristian could take her picture modeling Adriana’s new lingerie line. I thought it was way out of character for Antonio to accept that so easily, but hey, Antonio is a new man, as we’re being led to believe. And speaking of New Year’s Eve, I thought Evangeline did a great job of standing in for the drunken Claudia when she performed at Capricorn. I though her rendition of “Boogie Oogie Oogie” was great and I had a good chuckle when she even got Dorian to boogie a little bit.

A very big part of Jessica is Tess these days and it was very evident when she was at Cristian’s place and being exasperated about him being down on his new artwork, she went around his apartment busting up all his canvases. She did make her point to Cristian that he needed to start over and have some patience with himself, but her method was one that Jessica would never have thought of. And what’s the deal with Adriana? Is she still suffering so much from her “good girl” upbringing in the convent that she thinks it’s funny to tempt fate and have sex on her mother’s living room floor with Rex, not knowing when Dorian would come home? I am a bit tired of Adriana’s juvenile ways and it figures that Dorian would be most proud of her when she forbade Dorian from having photos taken for Craze at the New Year’s party, showing Dorian that she can be a shark in business just like her mother.

A big round of applause goes to Evangeline for her “in your face” visit to Spencer. I loved it when he told her that he would be found sane, would stand trial and be acquitted and she said, “If by some miracle you get off, someone will get you.” I laughed and applauded her when Spencer said he wasn’t worried and she just glared at him and said, “Good, then you won’t see it coming” and turned and walked out on him. Bravo Evangeline!

And why wasn’t Roxy at Capricorn Boogie Oogie Oogying herself all over the dance floor? I mean, come on, who loves a party more than Foxy Roxy?

I hope everyone had a Wonderful Holiday Season and I wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year! Thanks for reading and always letting me know what’s on your minds!

See ya next week.
