History of Talia Sahid :

We find out that Talia is actually the second and youngest child of Carlo Hesser the famous mob boss. Talia and her mother escaped an assumed different names and identities after Talia’s mothers remarriage. She has secret hopes of bringing her father to the justice he deserves for the things he has done.

She was formerly an officer with the NYC police department and was on duty during 9/11. She is currently a police officer in Llanview. She was previously introduced in 2006 investigating Vincent Jones’ warehouse fire. She was a partner of Antonio Vega who she forms an instant friendship.

When Antonio gets a divorce from Jessica Buchanan, the relationship takes an awkward turn. After working side by side for months with Antonio, Talia develops a crush on him. Since Talia is very reserved she is determined not to let Antonio know how she feels. To cover it up she makes up a fictitious boyfriend named “George” and is later discovered due to Antonio’s curiosity about her social life.

Talia gets to spend Thanksgiving 2007 with Antonio and his family, shares a sensual dance with him. When the evening is over an uncharacteristically impulsive Talia plants a kiss on Antonio and tells him of her feelings. He confesses that he has suspected that and is flattered. However, he states that he is not sure of his feelings for her since he is trying to get over his divorce. Afterwards, an embarrassed Talia treats him professionally at the station. Talia finally decides to leave town and is transferred to Cherryvale.

After realizing that he does have feelings for Talia on New Year’s Eve he races to meet Talia at the bus station, takes her in his arms and gives her a passionate kiss. After she agrees to give Antonio a second chance, however, she has been replaced and must go to Cherryville.

When Talia can finally be transferred back to Llanview, her and Antonio resume their relationship. In order to trap Lee Ramsey, the new chief of police, Talia, Antonio and John try to set a trap. After Ramsey is murdered and Antonio and Talia feel they can resume their relationship in public, a break-in at Talia’s spells trouble ahead. Talia is forced to call Sarah Roberts where they are kidnapped by Jonas Chamberlain and taken to Mendorra. On July 3, 2008 it is revealed that Carlo is Talia’s father. She is forced by her father to stay in Mendorra to marry Jonas but does let the other’s leave.
