History of Aubrey Wentworth:
In November, 2010 Aubrey flew to Llanview to meet new beau, Joey Buchanan and his billionaire family. While his mother and sisters remained impartial, his father Clint, condescending as he was forthright, called her sketchy intentions out in a private showdown.
Aubrey’s new friend Kelly Cramer, she learned, was Joey’s ex-wife and still loved him. Kelly suspected her and Cutter of foul play and raised her concerns to Joey, but when Cutter branded himself a relative, Joey cast uncertainty aside. Clint, however, did not and disinherited him. Aubrey leveled the playing field with blackmail.
As leverage, Wentworth vowed to use illegal dirt against Clint until it backfired when Rama’s husband Vimal publicly exploited his criminality. Regrettably, Clint reinstated the inheritance before showing Joey raw footage of her and Cutter. After switching the flash drive, Cutter bared witness as Aubrey swapped ‘I’ do’s’ with Joey.
Continuing to gain his silence, Aubrey concocted a back alley deal with Clint that she would persuade Rama (secretly with cash) if she coaxed Vimal to take the rap for him. Declared innocent and freed later, Clint offered the newlyweds a room at his mansion - where Aubrey learned she was under close watchful eyes.
Joey located a mysterious flash drive possibly connecting Clint to a murder. After Clint suggested he view it, Aubrey convinced him Clint was bluffing and Joey angrily destroys the device! Later, after failing to produce the money to Rama, Aubrey invites her to live with them to relieve threats of exposing her charade.
Aubrey and Joey gained temporary custody of his orphaned nephew at her insistence. Her fears came true when Joey learned the harsh truth about her and divorced her. Aubrey returned to Cutter in a bid to live an “honest” life and resumed her real name, Christine. Later, she sparred with Cutter’s sister, Kim Andrews (a.k.a. Aubrey Wentworth) after assuming she was an ex-girlfriend.
Aubrey befriended Rex Balsom and helped him plan his sister, Natalie’s engagement party. After becoming close while searching for Gigi’s look-a-like, she kissed him. Later, Rex kisses her and invites Aubrey to spend Christmas with him and Shane.
