Kale Browne's BIO:

The eldest of four children,
Kale was born David Charles Browne, June 16,
in San Rafael, California.
Although his high school days do not offer the fondest of memories,
it was where Kale discovered his passion for theatre.
From there he attended the College of Marin, in northern California.
This same college was also attended by such talents as
Robin Williams, David Dukes and Kathleen Quinlan.
After travels to Hawaii and Canada, Kale moved to
New York to continue his acting studies.
He appeared in many Off-Broadway and Off-off-off Broadway stage
productions, as well as regionally in the American Shakespeare Theater,
Stratford, The National Shakespeare Theater, Old Globe, and the New
Jersey Shakespeare Festival. TV credits would later include numerous
Guest-starring roles in Television:
MATLOCK, L.A. LAW, HILL STREET BLUES, WEBSTER,
DALLAS, DYNASTY, BABY MAKES FIVE,
LOU GRANT,  NERO WOLFE,
and the
CBS pilot "MR. & MRS. & MR." to name a few.
Movies for Television include
WOMAN ON A LEDGE, SCRUPLES,
THE DOROTHY STRATTON STORY
, and THE COLOR GAME.
In 1986, after an audition for DAYS OF OUR LIVES,
Kale was cast as Michael Hudson on
NBC's ANOTHER WORLD.

He carried the role for 13 years before driving over a cliff in 1998,
taking Robert Kelker Kelly with him in a snowy head-on crash.
Luckily, ABC-TV had a much better ER, and he
awoke two weeks later as Sam Rappaport on ONE LIFE TO LIVE.
Kale enjoys playing acoustic guitar, yoga, skiing, collecting
vintage acoustic guitars and American Arts and Crafts period pottery,
the Great Outdoors. His greatest joy, though, comes from fatherhood.
He has one son, Nick, with former wife Karen Allen (STARMAN), and
resides in Massachusetts where deer eat his roses.
