REFLECTIONS BY JILL .Do you think Todd might be thinking that his original plan to woo Margaret to get dirt on Kevin was just a tiny bit of an error in judgment on his part? Something tells me he might be starting to think that it wasnt quite worth it, even to discredit his archrival, Kevin.
I must admit that my mouth fell open when Margaret shot Todd the first time then the second time had me shaking my head in disbelief. I wonder if Margaret spent just a little too much money renting the movie Misery a few hundred times. I have to say, Kathy Bates has nothing on our Margaret. I just about died laughing when she came at him with that huge knife and said, Now, this is going to sting a bit. Holy Cow, Peggy!
If this were a real-life story (hey, it could happen lol), I dont think Todd would have to worry too much about what his future will bring. Its my guess that after Margaret got done performing surgery on him with no gloves and wrapping his leg in a filthy cloth, all Todd would have to worry about would be when hed die from the infection. At least she finally got out of that hideous wedding dress. I hope she burned it.
You see, heres where the writers made their big mistake. They should have had Viki come to Todds rescue. Why, you ask? Simple. Viki has experience in doing at-home surgery to remove bullets and she has one major advantage over Margaret she was taught by a real surgeon dear, sweet Ben.
Some people say and I really cant disagree that you cant really feel sorry for poor, old Todd. After all, it would take us all year to count the horrible things hes done to the good folks of Llanview. Hes sure getting a major taste of his own medicine, isnt he? And hey, is Margaret asking that much of him? All she wants is a baby that would tie her to him for life. Pardon me while I laugh until my sides split. It made perfect sense to her when she said to Todd, All you have to do is impregnate me and then you can go running back to Blair. Maybe that big old knife would give him some incentive.
Someone wrote and asked me how I can laugh at Margaret since shes so evil and I have to say that shes the most refreshing thing Ive seen in a long time. Of course, the fact that this kidnapping of hers isnt supposed to last very long helps me deal with it, otherwise Id be very angry for what Blair and Starr are going through.
See, if I stop enjoying laughing at Margaret and her wonderfully expressive face, then I have to think about the usual, boring drama Who killed Paul? Who killed Tico? Who cares? I sure dont think Antonio killed Tico, but if he did Id cheer him on. Im thinking that Jessica probably did it herself. Who could blame her and who would put her behind bars for it?
What do you think of Riley finding that bracelet with the initials P.C. in Jens purse?
So, lets move on. I LOVED that verbal brawl between Bo and Nora. It was great to see them hurling the truth at each other. Actually, I couldnt believe that Nora just marched over to Bos apartment the way she did, but worse than that, I couldnt believe she stayed after she saw Paige there and saw what had been going on. I have to admit I think they are both bull-headed idiots at this point, but I think Nora is a little more aware of her feelings than Bo is. It was really low of him to tell her that he lied when he said he had forgiven her .and that he never will. Its one thing not to forgive, but its another to let her off the hook and then tell her he didnt mean it. I love Bo, but that was really uncalled for, especially since hes not being honest about his own feelings. At this rate, neither one of them is acting above the age of 14, so who knows how this mess is going to resolve itself. Maybe Paige will hook up with Daniel and the whole thing will be turned upside down.
And in the Who would believe this? department did you find it just a bit ridiculous that Duke was flying Asas jet? Hmmm not much of a jump from flying a crop duster to flying a big old jet, right? If I were Kelly, I would have headed for the nearest car rental place or bus station.
And while were on the subject of Kelly, Duke and that mess of a storyline, there is one bright spot in all of it. I love the way Adriana has found her backbone and has learned how to see through Kevin. The way she sasses him makes me proud. Go Adriana!
I still have trouble figuring out the relationship between John and Evangeline. They definitely have the physical thing down pat I mean, why waste a boring elevator ride without jumping on each other but that conversation they had about marriage was just too weird. When she said it would be a good idea to wipe words like love and marriage out of their vocabulary it didnt make me see a great future for this relationship.
And finally, what is the deal with Cristian? I still dont know whats actually going on with him. He certainly has Natalies curiosity working overtime and hes not getting over his hatred for John any time soon. Obviously, John is going to have a hard time standing in the background when he keeps seeing Cris and Natalie having problems. I cant wait for the whole truth to come out. And lets get Carlotta back home she needs to see her baby boy alive and Id like to see the Vega family reunited.
See ya next week...

Melanie writes: I am so confused! Ok, I thought Natalie and Jessica were switched at birth and that Jessica was Roxy's and Mitch's biological child. So how could she have DID even if it was inherited. I have to admit I was so bored with One Life to Live during that time period that I did not watch every day.....HELP!
Dear Melanie: Oh girl, you miss so much when you tune out for a while. Actually, you probably saved yourself from a lot of snooze episodes back then. What actually happened, and what we are expected to believe, is that Viki gave birth to Jessica and Natalie they are twins and that Clint is the father of Natalie while Mitch is the father of Jessica. Dont ask me to explain further except that Mitch raped Viki and its just a disgusting and ridiculous story. Jessica could have DID no matter who her parents are it would have nothing to do with her parentage. If there is a Heaven above, we wont get another DID storyline.
Brittany writes: Im a huge Cris and Natalie fan and I'd hate to see them part. I totally disagree about what you said about the non-chemistry. Cris was always there for Natalie and he's the one who picked her up from what she once was....I just wanted to know if he has a contract on the show because I've heard a thousand and one rumors about whether he stays or goes...I'm just glad he is back (with his sexy self) and I'd hate to see him leave AGAIN.
Dear Brittany: I dont disagree that Cris has done wonderful things for Natalie. He was there for her when she couldnt turn to anyone else. Its my opinion that they dont have a romantic, physical chemistry like other great couples weve seen on the show (not necessarily these days). Lots of people disagree with me and think Cris and Natalie are wonderful together. I just see them as long-term great friends and not as great lovers. I have no idea what kind of contract David Fumero signed if any and if I get any information I will certainly pass it on.
MJ writes: Can you make sure the OLTL producers get this message. Whenever Cristian is on screen, I would like to see him in a smaller size t-shirt. Admiring those abs, pecks and arms. Welcome back!!!!!!
Dear MJ: I must say I cannot disagree with you on this subject. David Fumero is certainly not hard to look at. Sorry to tell you that I dont have any influence with those in charge of the show, even when it comes to something as important as a handsome actor in a tight shirt.
Lin writes: Regarding Marcie and Michael, I think it was brilliant to have him completely ignore her makeover. Every woman in America knows how that feels. I wanted to choke Michael but I was so impressed with Nathaniel Marston. He has never let Michael become "Dr. Al". I was disappointed with Marcie for not telling agent what's-his-name to take a flying leap when he basically informed her that she needed a complete makeover. Marcie may not be runway material, but she is a beautiful woman, and she needs to stick up for herself. That guy gives me the creeps and I have a gut feeling he's up to no good.
Dear Lin: Youre right about Michael. Lots of men wouldnt have noticed Marcies makeover and as I have said so many times in the past, it greatly disturbs me when they make a big deal of Marcies appearance. Her new agent is a tremendously obnoxious person and Marcie shouldnt change her basic principles to please him. Personally, I read tons of books and I never even think about what the authors look like.
