Recap for August 1st – August 5th

Nash threatens to throw Tess out if she keeps on being so secretive. Tess admits that there are things she’s done in her past that she can’t talk about. Nash explains how he handled Todd back at the restaurant, Tess is ecstatic about Nash’s false accusations. Sexual tensions heighten, as Tess and Nash get closer. Viki pops in to see if Rex is ok, Rex says that he’s fine but will be better when John finds Nat. Viki is confident that Nat is alive and Rex vows to help find her. Van stops in to see how Marcie is, Marcie says that she’s fine but hopes Nat makes it too, Van is sure that Nat will be ok. Mike catches Viki in Rex’s room and tells her to get home and rest. Mike and Van hope that John will find Nat. Rex sneaks out of his room and goes to see Marcie, no words are exchanged they just hold hands. Margaret asks Asa what he wanted, Asa warns her not to show her face in town – just stay in the cottage he provided for her. Margaret threatens Asa’s family if he doesn’t come thru on their deal, Asa counter-threatens Margaret’s baby. Margaret promises to behave and play by his rules. Hayes says that Nat might be alive or she might be dead. John wants to know where Nat is, Hayes will only tell if John cuts him a deal. John nearly chokes the life out of Hayes; Hayes passes out but then comes to. John sends Hayes with a few officers to be booked. Todd calls Blair to bail him out of jail. Blair races to New York City to help Todd. Todd tells her what happened with Nash at the restaurant. Blair tells him about Asa’s plan with Margaret, who is living in a town in Mexico. Todd is skeptical about Asa’s plan fearing Asa is playing them for fools. An officer lets Todd out on bail. Viki returns home and makes some tea, John stops over and tells her that he almost killed Hayes for info on Nat. Viki is scared that Nat is dead and John will never find her. John shakes his head, blaming himself for Nat being kidnapped.

Viki pays a visit to Hayes, wherein she wants to find out where Nat is. Hayes isn’t saying a word. Viki knows why Hayes is the way he is – because he was abused as a child. Viki wants to make a deal with Hayes; Hayes wants all charges dropped in return for telling where Nat is. Kelly and Duke go for a run; they get on the subject of a possible Kevin-Kelly reunion. Kelly tries to change the subject but Duke convinces her to go to Asa’s house. Marcie goes to the station to sign a statement, she runs into Hugh. Hugh is glad that she made it out ok and lends an ear whenever she needs to talk. Mike interrupts, promising to be there for Marcie. Hugh gets the word that Viki is visiting Hayes, Hugh goes down there. Marcie hopes Viki is ok. Adriana surprises Rex with flowers. Rex tells her of his ordeal, Adriana is glad he made it out alive. Sexual tension escalates when they lean in for a kiss, Adriana takes off. Roxy bursts in Rex’s apartment, relieved that Rex is ok. Rex mentions Adriana brought the flowers, Roxy suspects that something is up between them. Adriana runs into Duke at the park, they try to make plans but Duke is too busy. Asa and Kevin are having a meeting about BE, Nigel interrupts having suspicions that someone is in the guesthouse, Asa tells him that its an old friend from Texas. Margaret sneaks into the house and steals Kevin’s car keys. Kevin goes looking for his keys but is greeted by Kelly. Once again they succumb to passion and head upstairs to make love. Asa notices that Margaret is gone and wonders where she ran off. Todd and Blair meet with a minister to finalize their wedding plans, Margaret shows up – surprised to see Todd and Blair there. Todd and Blair leave as Margaret tries to hide but is found by the minister. Margaret wants to make plans for Todd Jr.’s christening. Ginger is watching the kids at the park, Todd and Blair show up. Ginger and Adriana meet up and talk about their relationships with the men of Llanview. Todd realizes that Jack’s toy is missing and heads to the church to find it. Hugh goes down to Hayes’ cell, warning Viki not to make a deal with Hayes. Hayes continues to taunt her, Viki makes a deal with Hayes – all the charges are dropped in exchange for Nat’s whereabouts. . .
