Fan Recap for One Life to Live

Nash is deadset upon getting home to Tess and the baby, Bruce warns him to stay away until they can take care of Reston. Nash wants Bruce to convince Reston to sign over the vineyard in Claudia’s name. Bruce doesn’t think it’s wise to use Claudia again but will do it. Nash calls Claudia and tells her to meet him after her set at Capricorn. Antonio takes Jessica and the baby back to his loft, wherein he tells Jess that he’s got a way to keep Nash away from the baby – he asks her to marry him, that way they can establish a family and a nice place of residence so no judge will take the baby away from them if a custody battle ensues.

Jess explains that she can’t marry Antonio yet, feeling she has to make herself whole again before she can love anyone. Rex meets Adriana at Capricorn, where she receives a text message from her stalker. Rex calls the number but gets no answer, he also fails to notice a cell phone vibrating on the table next to him with “Adriana” flashing across the caller ID. Layla is there and introduces Claudia, who is there for the first time to sing. The name of the song she sings is called “My Butterfly.” Rex freaks out because that’s what Adriana’s message said. Rex inquires about who requested the song, but Claudia doesn’t know. Rex gets a copy of the registration list for the evening and takes Adriana back to his place. He suggest that Adriana tell Dorian, but she doesn’t want Dorian to freak out and send her away.

Bo, Hugh, Blair and John look at the screen intently, waiting for Spencer to give them anything to use. Spencer takes Margaret into his office and doesn’t reveal anything – telling Margaret that they have neither met nor talked before. Margaret makes a crucial mistake by letting Spencer figure out the police are filling her head with stories. John gets a call from David and has to leave. Hugh gets a call from the morgue and has to go pick up some documents from Todd’s case. Bo goes to see if Margaret is ok. Blair vows to get the truth out of Spencer. Bo meets Margaret outside Spencer’s office, Spencer looks at Bo and says nothing – he storms out of the hospital.

Bo takes Margaret into the viewing room and explains that she did a great job but they need to send her away for help. Margaret gets escorted into a van on her way to a psychiatric hospital. En route Margaret begins to remember everything and demands the van be turned around. John goes to see David, David promises to give up Spencer if John drops the charges. John explains he can’t drop the charges because it’s a murder case but may be able to reduce the sentence if David has concrete evidence. David explains that he has nothing, John leaves just as Spencer shows up. David, again, threatens to go to Blair if Spencer doesn’t help him. Spencer explains that he’s the only one who cares enough to help him and promises he won’t let his brother down.

Blair goes to Capricorn for a drink, Spencer meets up with her. She does her best to woo him into not thinking she’s trying to get the goods on him. She gets a call from David and, playing it off like it was Jack, goes to meet David. David tells her that she needs to know the truth about Spencer. John returns to the stakeout room and tells Bo he got nothing from David, Bo reports the same for Margaret. Hugh returns with the documents that identify the body as Margaret and the baby, hoping that Spencer signed off on them – figuring out that whoever signed the papers must’ve been in on the scam. Hugh takes one look at the signature and can’t believe it, John reads the signature and hands the paper to Bo. Bo looks at his signature on the paper and is just as shocked as everyone else. . .
