One Life to Live Recap for the week of March 20 - March 24, 2006

Bo gets a call about a possible lead on Todd, he leaves. Van shows up and has Adriana call Blair – there is no answer. Layla shows up and sees Rex talking to Van; she wonders what they are talking about. Van and Rex concoct a plan to get Lucas, the officer Bo assigned to tail Van, off her back. Rex and Adriana stage a fight, while Layla slips Van out the backdoor. Vann sees that Bo made it there before she did and tells Layla to drop her off and she’ll find Todd. Layla is hesitant at first, but lets Van go off in search of Todd. Bo questions the tow truck driver, who affirms that Todd is the one who stole his truck. Bo gets the location of Blair’s cabin and sends his officers up there to check things out. Nat wants to make her first assignment, as forensics tech, John’s father’s case. John has other plans for her, they get into an argument. Nat accuses John of shutting people out again; John denies it saying that he has to do this on his own. Crosby breaks them up, Nat takes off – she makes her way into Bo’s office to look on his computer for info about John’s dad. Rex catches her, Nat tells him of her new job. Rex thinks Nat took it to be closer to John, Nat denies it saying she wanted to do something for herself. Nat gets an idea – who better to ask about transactions that took place in Atlantic City “behind the alley” than Roxy. Todd watch as Blair and Spencer make love, he sinks down and finds an ax on the ground. Todd quietly opens the door, Spencer stops and can tell Blair is “somewhere else, perhaps thinking about Todd.” Blair explains that he is the only man she is thinking of right now, Todd quietly slips back out. But not before knocking over a pile of wood. Todd hides as Spencer checks out the noise. Van finds Todd and they both take off before the police get there. When Bo arrives he is very shocked to find Spencer there, Spencer explains that he drove Blair up to the cabin after her car broke down. Bo gives Spencer his business card and tells him to call if he sees or hears anything about Todd. Todd and Van end up, of all places, Lyon’s Heart. Van remembers being there with Mitch, Todd finds it ironic – almost like this is where Victor Lord would’ve wanted him to end up. Van can see something wrong in Todd when he starts to act erratic. Todd smashes a plaque on the ground; Van is shocked at his behavior.

Hugh confronts and accuses Cris of helping Van help Todd. Cris claims that he has no idea where Van is. Nat defends Cris; Hugh gets a call about a possible lead on Todd. Cris thanks Nat for defending him, Nat wishing him luck on his fight tomorrow and also tells him that she is line for a new job. Cris congratulates her and wishes her luck. Todd tells Van that he saw Blair and Spencer making love, Van apologizes that he had to see that. Todd tells her that she is off the hook – not wanting her to help him anymore, fearing that she’d get into a lot of trouble. Van tells him that she has every intention of sticking with him until the end. Nash gets a call from the realtor – the deal is off, the buyer found something new. Tess explains that they shouldn’t be afraid of Reston and sell their dream. Nash thanks her for making him see that, Tess – in a rare sincere moment – thanks Nash for making her see that not everybody was out to use her. Nash tells her that they have to get back to Llanview, Tess opposes going but changes her mind. Blair tells Spencer to get inside before he freezes, Spencer goes into the cabin and tells Blair that Todd was definitely there – he gives her the wedding ring he found. Blair knows that Todd saw her and Spencer making love. Two officers show up and ask questions about Todd. Spencer tells them that Todd was there and gives them the ring. Hugh shows up inquiring about Todd, he goes outside to check things out. Starr comes down and wants to know what’s going on. Blair tells her that Todd was there and left, Starr wonders why her father would track them down all the way to the cabin and then just leave without saying anything. Blair explains that Todd was trying to make them see that he is ok, Starr thinks something else is going on and runs to her room. Hugh makes Blair and Spencer promise that if they see Todd, they are to call him. Bo shows up at Llanfare, Clint and Viki show him the box of videos. Bo wants to take them down to the lab to get them analyzed. Viki begs Bo to let her watch the video of Tess. At first Bo resists Viki’s request, but bows down – thinking that if it was Matt he would want to see the video too. Clint pops the tape into the VCR and sits with Viki to watch. The video shows Jess/Tess sitting on a bed, an unidentified man approaches her – telling her that they are going to make a new video. As Viki and Clint continue to watch the video they become more upset and aggravated. At the end, both of them break down crying in each others arms. . .
