One Life to Live Recap for the Week of March 6 - March 10, 2006

John goes to see Cris, seeking advice about Todd. Cris tells him to follow his instinct. John leaves as Carlotta shows up. Carlotta wishes he would try to get back with Nat, Cris admits that he hasn’t given up on her and would give up boxing for her. Carlotta tells him to go tell her that. John goes to the police station and runs into Van and Hugh having an argument about Todd. Hugh is dead-set on capturing Todd and bringing him back to death row while Van still defends his innocence. John breaks them up, he feels that if Van thinks Todd is innocent – maybe he really is innocent. Hugh orders “shoot to kill” if anyone comes in contact with Todd. Van overhears Hugh saying that he’ll prosecute anyone, including Viki, who helps Todd. Disgusted, Van storms out of the police station. John takes a few files regarding Margaret’s case and takes them home to look them over. Tess overhears Clint telling Viki about Reston’s visit. She is furious that Nash lied to her and plans to go over to Asa’s and confront him about it. Clint drives her over there. Nat goes to see Nash to tell him to stay away from Tess, Nash doesn’t plan on leaving Llanview thinking that Tess will emerge the prominent personality after the integration. Tess and Clint show up, after smacking Nash they sit down to talk. Nash slips about Claudia’s visit, which further infuriates Tess. Tess walks out on Nash, thinking that he doesn’t love her anymore. Bo comes home to find the chain lock on the door. Todd threatens Paige if she tells Bo, Todd takes off. Bo tells Paige that he knows about her son. Paige says that she’s confused and doesn’t want to talk about it. Bo asks how they could have a relationship if they can’t talk. Bo finds the file and wants to open it, Paige gets called to the hospital and takes the file with her. Bo notices that the patio door is open and goes outside, there he finds a piece of fabric – that came from Todd’s coat – hooked onto the door handle. Viki sits listening to a news report on Todd, Todd bursts into Llanfare asking Viki to help him. Viki wants Todd to turn himself in, Todd doesn’t consider that an option and takes off. Cris shows up at Llanfare wanting to talk to Nat, Viki explains she has some errands to do and takes off. Nat comes home, Cris tells her that the only way he’ll stop boxing is if they get back together. Clint brings Tess back to Llanfare, Tess wonders why Clint is being so nice to her. Clint explains that Tess is just as much his daughter as Jess is. Nash gathers his things from Asa’s house and plans to leave Llanview, he runs into Viki who asks him to stay for the sake of his baby. Van returns to her apartment to find Todd inside. Todd begs her for help, saying that she is his last hope. . .

Kelly stops by Asa’s house to leave a note for Duke, who is still sleeping off his hangover. Viki tries to convince Nash to stay, but Nash feels that if he stays Jess will come out and he’ll lose Tess forever. Nash explains that he has to go because he loves Tess so much. Viki understands why he has to leave and lets him go. Tess is sobbing on Clint’s shoulder, but then apologizes for letting her guard down. Clint reminds her that he’s always there for her if she wants to talk. Tess accuses Clint of playing on her emotions so he can bring Jess out, Clint explains that he’s not trying to do that. To show that he’s not pressing the subject he leaves. Tess looks in the mirror and sees Jess, Jess begs Tess to let her out but Tess is adamant about staying in control. Nat tells Cris that she can’t promise something like that just so he stops boxing. Cris, again, tells her that if she gives him hope that they will be together he will stop boxing. They hear a crashing noise outside the door and go to see what it is, Tess smashed the mirror and is bleeding. Nat goes to get her bandaids, instead of being grateful Tess insults Nat. Viki comes home to see the mess, Nat takes off and Cris follows. Viki tells Tess that Nash left, Tess accuses Viki of driving him away but Viki reminds Tess that she is the one who drove Nash away.
