One Life to Live Recap for the Week of January 30 - February 3, 2006

Dorian goes to Blair’s apartment to take her on a shopping spree, to take her mind off of Todd’s sentencing hearing. Spencer is there, Dorian is furious after learning that Spencer spent the night. Blair assures her that they didn’t sleep together, Dorian leaves. Van calls Blair to talk her into going to the hearing to support Todd, Blair promises to be there. Van goes in to see Todd, who was beaten up in jail for being the “baby killer.” Van promises that she will do her best to see that he doesn’t get the death penalty. Todd doesn’t care what he gets because he has nothing to live for anymore. Nash explains what happened on the phone, Antonio and Nat find out that Nash was hugging Jess when Viki caught them. Nash and Antonio go at it again, Clint breaks up their fight and gets them to realize that fighting won’t help them. Bo shows up to report that he’s got anyone he can spare looking around town for Viki and Jess. Dorian shows up to see if Clint is ok, Bo sees them together again and wonders if something more is going on between them. Clint sees Dorian out, Bo leaves for the hearing, Antonio gets a call that someone found Viki’s car. He and Nash take off in search of Viki and Jessica. Nat stays behind for some fatherly advice. Nat asks Clint how someone could love or have feelings for someone who did something bad. Clint tells Nat that life is too short not to be with the one you love. Nat calls either John or Cris, we don’t know who, and wants to meet up with them. Tess is having a dream that Nash is dumping her for Jessica, she wakes up to hear Niki taunting “I told you so” on the couch. Niki tells Tess that she has to get over Nash, Tess claims that if she were to see Nash right now she’d beat him up worse than Claudia’s father did. Niki explains to Tess that she has a plan ~ go back to Llanview, pretend that they are Viki and Jess, and steal all of Viki’s money – figuring that they need money to live on. Tess wants to go along with it until Niki wants to hear Tess’ secret. Tess contemplates telling Niki but doesn’t, saying that she’ll make up her own plan. Niki knows the secret must be big, and can’t wait for Viki to hear about it. Nash and Antonio meet up with the police, who are in the middle of getting a map drawn up of the area. High winds prevent choppers from going up to search, Nash and Antonio are forced to return to Llanfare to let the police do their work. Van brings Todd into the courtroom, he is upset because neither Viki nor Blair are there. Bo shows up and wishes Hugh good luck. Blair and Spencer finally arrive, Blair is hounded by the media and Dorian escorts her in while Spencer takes a phone call. Spencer explains that he has an emergency at the hospital, but promises to be back before the verdict. Hugh lets Margaret’s sister, Ellen, make a plea for the death penalty. Van counteracts by saying that killing Todd would punish his kids, not just him. The jury reveals that they have reached a sentence…death by lethal injection. At the same time, Spencer walks down a dark alley – making sure that no one is following him. He comes to a door that he slides open. There Margaret sits, very much alive and very much still pregnant, exclaiming that she is in labor. . .
