One Life to Live Recap for the Week of January 9 - January 13, 2006

Todd is brought back down to his cell and is visited by Denton. There Denton threatens to concoct a story about Todd confessing to the murder if Todd doesn’t give him $100,000. Todd refuses to give him the money and Denton threatens to talk to the DA. Blair sneaks in and overhears Todd saying he’ll give Denton the money if he doesn’t tell that he killed Margaret. . .

Blair confronts Todd about what she just heard, Todd tries to explain that Denton was blackmailing him but she doesn’t want to listen to him. Blair storms out of the holding area. Natalie finally meets Tess, wherein she tells Tess that she’s not taking any of her crap. Tess can see that Nat is serious, Nat explains that she knows how to deal with an alter. Tess sees the paper and reads that Ginger is dead, she becomes distraught that her only friend is dead. Cris meets up with Lindsay, he asks her to sponsor his artwork again in her gallery. Lindsay refuses to hang his paintings but tells him to keep painting. Clint and Dorian go out for their date. Dorian makes a few comments about Viki’s DID, Clint doesn’t like what he hears and abandon’s Dorian right in the middle of dinner. Clint runs into a drunken Nash, Nash begins to tell him of his previous relationship with Claudia and how she gave him lots of money. Clint warns Nash about not hurting Tess. Nash begins to explain how he hurt Claudia. A maid scares David off and he finds Spencer at the Palace. David asks Spencer what the woman in the photograph has to do with his master plan to bring down the Buchanan’s. Spencer begins to tell David but is interrupted when Blair sees him and slugs him in the jaw. David takes off before he gets hit, Blair demands to know why Spencer keep Todd’s secret. Spencer explains that he had too – on the basis of doctor/patient confidentiality. Blair lashes out at him, telling him she doesn’t want to see him for a while. Antonio goes to see Bo, Bo agrees to help Antonio find out about Nash’s past. Bo finds out about Claudia Reston and her involvement with Nash. Antonio promises to protect both Jessica and Tess. Rex sees Van and offers to help her convince the jury that Todd is innocent, Van is confident she can do it on her own. Rex goes down to see Todd, Todd employs Rex to find out what Denton is really up to. Nat storms into the police station and lambastes Van for doing what she did to Viki. Van tries to explain that she did it to help Todd, but Nat doesn’t see it that way. Antonio arrives at Llanfare to warn Tess about Nash’s past. Tess believes that Nash still loves her and will never leave her. Antonio tries to get her to see that Nash isn’t the best person for her but Tess believes differently. . .

Antonio goes to Clint and Viki to tell them about Nash’s past restraining order – Nash didn’t physically hurt someone but mentally conned someone into giving him her money. Clint doesn’t know what to think right now, Viki hopes Antonio is right. Tess starts out the door but Nash is waiting for her. Tess doesn’t want to see him, Nash wants to explain – after the amniocentesis. Tess wants to know about the restraining order, Nash wants to know Tess’ secret. Viki catches them together, Tess changes her mind about the amnio. Viki, Clint and Antonio leave them to be alone. Nash knows Tess still loves him. Nash talks her into it, Tess tells everyone that she’s going. Viki calls Phil and he’s in a session, Viki admits she’s scared for Jess. Clint knows what Nash and Antonio are going thru and sympathizes with them. Viki wants Jess home and happy, and knows things will be different if Nash is the father. Nash and Antonio get a sonogram of the child. The doctor begins the amnio on Tess. Adriana seeks advice from Cris about what to do with Rex. Cris warns her to stay away from Rex, after Adriana misconstrues Rex hitting on a girl for him hiring someone for UV. Adriana feels she should go for Rex, Cris tells her to go with her heart. Van and Layla have a cup of coffee, Layla believes that Van should call John to just talk with him. Van doesn’t want to do that, she reverts her attention to Todd’s case. Layla thinks that Van is beginning to doubt herself, Van is confident of a win for Todd. John looks over the report from Dr. Crosby and feels that he doesn’t need a shrink.
