Cole and Starr face more problems during Marty's trial.

Look for some fun on the show during an upcoming Casino Night which involves several characters, including Viki, Clint and Roxy.

Due to Erika Slezak's vacation, Viki will be off-screen starting in mid-August until mid-October, but her absence will be explained in the storylines.

Two people will find out about David being Asa's son, but it may be awhile before anything else happens.

Actor Hunt Block's character will be an FBI agent who comes to Llanview in search for a missing person.

Cord, Max, Alex, Kevin and Joey all return to Llanview for Asa's funeral.

John will find out the truth about Tommy being Todd's real son, but will he be able to reveal the truth?

The Tommy storyline will become more complicated and will involve many key characters, and Natalie will be caught in the middle in the war between the families.

Buchanan Enterprises will face major turmoil after Asa's death.

A new character named Mason will be sent in by the board of directors of BE, but it's unclear if he will be a foe or a friend to the Buchanan family.

Mason will be related to a family in Llanview.

Natalie will take on a major role in Buchanan Enterprises, but it may turn out to be more responsibility than she can handle.

Asa's Will is full of odd demands for his family and friends.

There will be a new mystery surrounding a search in Asa's mansion after his death.

David is definitely the true-blue Buchanan heir!

According to the latest spoilers, Spencer's killer is a long term female resident, and there are speculations that this will turn out to be Renee Divine Buchanan.

Two well known characters are set to return to Llanview.

Rex is hired by Sarah to help her find someone.

Clint will become unhappy with Dorian after she resorts to her old ways.

In related news, OLTL will be marking it's 10,000 episode in a funeral service for the long-time character of Asa Buchanan played by Phil Carey (who recently left the show after turning down the offer for a recurring role). Returning for the service will be Kevin Buchanan (Dan Gauthier), Max Holden (James DePaiva) and Alex Olanov (Tonja Walker).

OLTL's Head Writer Dena Higley has been let go and will be replaced by the show's co-writer Ron Carlivati.

Natalie will get a new love interest very soon, and it won't be Vincent. This new man is someone she gets involved with, but there are several complications in their relationship, including another woman.

Marty will face her day in court when she must face possible charges over Spencer's murder when the Assistant District Attorney obtains her taped confession. Marty will also testify that Miles coerced her into marriage.

John will stick by Marty throughout her troubles with the law. Plus, are John and Marty headed for romance?

Talia helps Antonio cope with his divorce from Jessica.

Look for Bo to renew his past relationship with Lindsay after Paige leaves Llanview.

Miles may not be who we think he is.

~What's Next For Natalie?
interview with Higley: "We're launching a new Natalie. We just couldn't continue to play this troubled, black sheep Natalie who always turns to the wrong person in times of need. It was time for her to grow, so that's what we're going to do." She says that through loving and losing several times already, Natalie has evolved and she's now a person that the audience will care about and root for. "She's definitely going to be a stronger person." She says while Vincent and Nat have a wonderful relationship, the timing is wrong for a romance there.

HAPPINESS FOR JESS & NASH?
Higley says that once Antonio recovers from the surgery, he's done with Jessica, there's nothing he can do because she's in love with someone else. Higley says that they are going to get a well-deserved break before they get dumped with more drama.

OLTL Head Writer Higley says that even though the book has been closed on the Spencer case, they are taking it in another direction that she doesn't think people are expecting.

PLUS: Someone unexpected is going to step in to save Jessica's life, someone other than Antonio. Talia's feelings for Antonio are growing but is he ready for a new relationship?

Todd and Blair will find themselves draw back to one another and a reunion is in the works!

Tate's father, Kirk, will be arrested in connection with the arsons around Llanview. However, the big twist that is rumored is that it is Tate who is really the one behind all the fires. Tate is supposedly a card carrying member of the "One Pure People" group, but sets up his dad to take the fall so he can continue to carry on his work. Also, look for another character named Clark to become involved as well in the storyline. Clark, another member of the arsonist group, is concerned over Kirk's arrest and wants to know from Tate if his father will rat them out, or keep quiet over what they have done. Tate tells Clark not to worry - that his father will protect him to the end, however he does admit that Kirk does want him to stop what he's been doing.

In the meantime, Antonio is not through with love when he becomes romantically involved with Talia. However, it becomes a complicated triangle when Antonio's brother, Cristian, also takes an interest in Talia. It may turn out to be a true all out fight for the love of their life!

At least one Llanview woman will get pregnant, which leads to a major upset!
