Nora's Hospital Room

An astonished Asa has come into Nora's room.  He asks Nora if she is real.  When she says that she is, he comments that it was like he has been dreaming all along about her being alive and now the dream has come true.  He starts to tell Nora that everyone has blamed her death on him, but stops himself.  He tells her how thankful he is that she is alive .  Nora agrees that it is good to see him, too.  Asa tells Nora that she can't believe how much he has missed her.  Nora thinks he seems a bit pale, and asks if she should call him a nurse.  He retorts that he doesn't need a nurse, all he needs is her and that she has always been his favorite daughter-in-law.  Nora laughs that he has a funny way of showing it.  She can't believe that Bo hasn't told Asa about her being alive and wonders what they are going to do with that husband of hers.

The Stationhouse

Melanie knocks at Bo's door just as he and Hank are finishing up a conversation.  She says that she doesn't want to interrupt, but Hank says that he was just leaving.  Bo tells her that he is glad that she has stopped by and that there is something he's been wanting to give her.  When she asks what it is, he kisses her.  She tells Bo that she had planned on staying away for a while, to let him sort things out with Nora, but she couldn't.  She was awake debating something all night.  She confesses to Bo that she has been keeping something from him.

Cherry Vale Hospital

Vicky and Ben have come to review her recent test results with Colin.  There have obviously been some words between Ben and Colin, regarding Nora and Colin's involvement in her disappearance.  Vicky asks Ben to discuss this with Colin at another time and they enter his office.  Colin pulls out Vicky's file, saying that the results have just come back and he hasn't had time to review them, yet.  When he opens the file he seems perplexed and Vicky asks him what is wrong.  He asks for a moment.  Vicky asks again if there is a problem, and he tells her that according to the results he is afraid that there is.

Cris's Apartment

We see Antonio and Roseann the morning after.  He brings her a cup of coffee in bed and asks her if she is ok with everything that has happened.  She says that she is; she's not ashamed of anything.  He tells her that last night was incredible, but.he doesn't wasnt anyone getting hurt.  She wants to know if he means anyone like her.  Antonio reminds her that he is going through a messy divorce, he has a new job and he needs to be helping out his mother at the diner.  Roseann tells him that she is not looking for a serious relationship; that is what happened with Cris, and she ended up hurting, Cris, Jessica, Will and herself.  She doesn't want that kind of intensity, she assures him, at least not yet.  She admits, however, that she could get used to the intensity of last night.  Antonio agrees, telling her that he is interested in friendship and sex.  As he kisses her, she reminds him that he needs to get to work.  She wonders what his mother might have to say about their situation and Antonio thinks that a lot of people might have something to say about it.

As Roseann heads into the bathroom, Sophia prepares to knock on the door.

Cherry Vale Hospital

Ben wants to know what the problem is with the test results.  Colin reports that the numbers aren't good.  The CA levels are elevated.  He asks Ben and Vicky to give him another minute.  Vicky asks if this could mean that the cancer is back.  Ben tells Vicky that they have come too far, for it to be that.  Colin points out that the CEA levels are elevated as well, which could indicate a false positive result.  Ben thinks that this must be the case and Colin says that he doesn't want to jump to any conclusions.

The Stationhouse

Melanie explains to Bo that she can't be sure, but she thinks that Colin has taken the drug Elasprenine from Cherry Vale, without signing it out.  She asks Bo if he knows what that is.  He replies that he does; it is the drug that the doctors gave to Nora to help with her memory.  "Do you think he gave it to her?"  Bo wants to know.  She isn't sure.  Bo wants to know if Colin was acting strangely.  Melanie says that he was; he was acting guilty, suspicious and defensive.  She warns Bo that she has no solid proof.  She tells him that it has been hard to let go of being loyal to Colin, but admits that she needed to tell Bo because if Colin has done this, he has to answer for it.  Bo wonders why Colin would be giving Nora and an antidote, but tells Melanie not to worry, they will figure it out together.

Nora's Hospital Room

Nora is going on about Bo being a man of few words, but she still can't believe that he hasn't told Asa about her being alive.  When Asa seems speechless, Nora asks, "Asa, what have you done - disowned Bo again?"  "No," he tells her and assures her that they are both still in the will.  Asa asks Nora how she is.  She asks Asa to tell her.  She asks him if he knows about the baby she has had with another man.  She needs to know how Bo handled that and how their marriage survived it.

Cherry Vale Hospital

Colin finishes taking another blood sample from Vicky.  He tells her to keep pressure on her arm and that he is going to take the sample to the lab himself and wait for the results.  It shouldn't take very long.  After he leaves, Vicky asks Ben what they do now.  He tells her that they have some time.  She tells him that the results may not be a mistake; they can't be sure.  He tells her that while that is true, she is not alone.  Ben sees how distressed she is and asks her to talk to him.  She tells him that she feels the very same way she felt on the first day of her diagnosis.

Cris's Apartment

Sophia knocks on the door and calls out to Antonio.  He pulls on his robe and slowly opens the door.  Sophia tells him that she was worried when he didn't come back last night.  He tells her that he had a lot of things to do and decided to crash at the apartment instead.  She was even more worried when he didn't show up at the station, she explains.  She wonders is everything is ok.  He tells her that everything is fine.  She offers to wait for him to get dressed and give him a ride.  When Antonio balks, she tells him that if she didn't know better, she would think he had a woman in there with him.  Antonio tells her that actually he does.

The Stationhouse

Bo is telling Melanie that Nora doesn't know about the two of them, but that he intends to tell her.  Melanie isn't so sure that that is a good idea; she doesn't want Nora to get hurt.  Bo tells Melanie that it is the secrets that hurt people.  Melanie isn't sure that Nora is ready for the truth; she wonders if maybe she and Bo should cool it for a while until things settle down.  Bo is emphatic; he cares a lot about Nora and won't do anything to hurt her, but he has no intention of backing off on his relationship with Melanie.  He tells Melanie that he would like to meet her at The Palace later for dinner and kisses her again.  He wants to know if she is ok with that.  She tells him that she is more than ok.

Nora's Hospital Room

Asa agrees to tell Nora what he knows.  He tells her that she had a baby to give Bo a child.  Everything that she has done, she has done for Bo.  She wants to know if Bo understood what she did. Asa tells her that he did, after a while.  She asks if they separated.  Asa tells her that they did not; they had some rough times, but everything turned out ok.  He tells Nora that she and Bo's marriage is as solid as a rock.

Nora points out that that is not what Lindsay told her and wonders if Asa knows Lindsay.  Asa calls Lindsay the devil incarnate and tells Nora NEVER to listen to the Rappa-Davisons.  They have tried and tried to get between she and Bo, but haven't been able to do it.

Nora asks Asa about the baby.  Asa tells her that they, the Rappa-Davisons, get the baby.  It didn't mean anything.  Nora argues that that baby is her son.  Asa tells her that the only thing that matters is that she and Bo are together.

Nora looks Asa straight in the eye and says, "Asa Buchanan, you're lying, aren't you?"

Asa tells Nora not to get upset.  He tells her that she maybe isn't ready to hear the truth yet.  She wants to know why what Asa is saying doesn't make sense.

The nurse comes in and tells Asa that it is time for him to go.  When he tries to act important, she tells him to stop throwing his weight around and leave.  On his way out, he tells Nora that everything is going to be fine and that she and Bo are going to pull the family back together again.

Cris's Apartment

Sophia tells Antonio that she's glad he got lucky.  She says that he's a big boy and is entitled to have a woman spend the night; she brings home friends sometimes, too.  She tells him that she needs to get back to the station.  He asks if she's ok.  She says that, of course she is, why wouldn't she be.  He tells her that he doesn't want to do anything to jeopardize their partnership.  She tells him to take his time - she will cover for him.

After Antonio closes the door, Sophia breaks down in the hall.

Cherry Vale Hospital

In Colin's office, Vicky is angry with herself.  She wonders how she could have become comfotable and complacent all over again.  She admits that she has started to take everything for granted.  She feels like she is right back to square one again and wonders if she only has weeks or months to live.  She wonders what it is that she hasn't done that she wants to do.  Ben asks her what she wants.

She tells him that she wants Jess to resolve her situation and get rid of her anger.  She wants her sons to get over the trouble with Kelly and to be friends again.  She also wants to be able to help Todd.

Ben asks her what she wants for herself and she tells him that she only wants to be with him.  She wants to dance on the beach at sunset, sky dive, scuba dive, go to Italy and win a Pulitzer Prize. She wants to marry Ben.  He assures her that she will do all these things and more.

He leaves her momentarily to check on the test result and throws a wheelchair in anger in the hall.

Ben returns, telling Vicky that there are no results yet and asking her if she is ok.  They sit down to wait and he holds her hand.  After a moment, Colin returns.

Cris's Apartment

Roseann comes out of the shower and tells Antonio that she was hoping he would join her.  He tells her that he wanted to, but has to get to work.  She says that work will still be there in an hour and there is a lot that he and she can do in an hour.  He tells her that he has got to get to work and she looks disappointed.

The Stationhouse

Sophia comes in crying and sits down at one of the desks.

Asa storms into Bo's office, wanting to know what the hell Bo was thinking and why he hadn't told him that Nora was alive.  He tells Bo that Nora thinks that they are still married and that they ought to be. Bo reminds Asa that they are now divorced.  Asa gloats that he has set Nora straight.  Bo wants to know what damage he has done now.

Nora's Hospital Room

Before entering Nora's room, Hank asks the nurse how she is doing.  The nurse replies that her visit from Asa Buchanan didn't help.  Hank enters the room to find that Nora is gone.
