Cristian, Jen and Lindsay

Cris and Jen walk into Cris’s apartment kissing and find Lindsay sitting waiting for them.  Jen asks her what she’s doing there and Lindsay asks Jen what she was just about to do.  Jen tries to explain what’s going on and Cris tells her to stop – that she doesn’t have to explain and that it’s his apartment and Lindsay is the one who has to explain what she’s doing there.  Lindsay feels she has a right to be there and when Cris wonders how she got in, she tells him the door was open.  He knows it wasn’t.  Lindsay starts trying to play on Jen’s emotions talking about family and how they stick together and Jen tells her that it was a farce and that they all thought the others were murderers.  Lindsay tells her that’s how it was, but now they are together as a family.  Jen tells Lindsay not to run her life…that she knows who she can trust and Lindsay doesn’t believe she can trust Cris.  She blames Cris for trying to mislead Jen and calls him a “bartender.”  He is about to tell her what he thinks of her when Jen asks him to give her some time with Lindsay.  So Cris goes down to the bar and asks RJ who has keys to his apartment.  RJ tells him that it wasn’t him…that he never let anyone into his apartment and all the while, Chad is listening to this conversation.

Back in Cris’s apartment, Jen tells Lindsay how embarrassed she is and Lindsay says that she knows what Cris wants.  Lindsay tells her that she found the crumpled up prescription for the birth control pills and Jen wants to know how she got that…Lindsay, of course, says that’s not important, but tells Jen that she’s just a child and she doesn’t need birth control pills.  Jen says she’s not a baby – she’s 18 – and Lindsay says that she may be adult in age, but she’s not grown up.  Jen reminds her that all the while she was in Switzerland, Lindsay didn’t know what she was doing and Lindsay was surprised and asked if Jen had sex in Switzerland.  Jen said it was none of her business, but she did tell her that she hadn’t had sex yet…even with Cris.  Lindsay wants Jen to come home with her and she refuses.  Lindsay tell her that she knows what it’s like to want someone to love you when you’re young and Jen tells her that she’s still like that.  Lindsay tells her to wait for someone special and Jen says it’s Cris.  Lindsay hates hearing that.  Lindsay tells her that she doesn’t believe Cris loves her…that he’s just a criminal who works for RJ.  Jen tells he she doesn’t understand.  Cris comes back in and Lindsay is leaving reluctantly.  She tells Cris that if he harms her daughter in any way, he will answer to her and he says “How could I compete with you?”  Lindsay leaves and Jen and Cris are close again, and decide that when the time is right for them to make love, they will.

Lindsay goes back to the bar and wants RJ to fire Cris.  He refuses, saying that Cris will just go to another bar and take all his business with him.  Some young girls come into the bar looking for Cris and Lindsay decides she’s going to do something to ruin Cris’s reputation.  She corners Chad after hearing RJ asking him about setting up his computer and she tells him she wants him to do something for her.  She also thanks him for not telling RJ that he let her into Cris’s apartment.  He refuses to get involved with her any more, but she tells him that she knows he helped RJ move Colin’s body in that crate and she can call the police, who just might want to question him as an accessory.  He decides to go along with Lindsay and she wants him to do something underhanded on the computer, regarding Cris.

Jessica and Seth

Seth and Jess are alone in the classroom and Jess doesn’t know what he’s up to.  She wonders why he’s not at work and he says his shift was cancelled.  She says she’s had enough surprises that day and tells him about getting stuck in the elevator – and about Natalie getting her out.  He tells her that he has gotten the movie that they are supposed to watch for Dr. Rae’s class and a projector from the library and that they are going to watch it.  She agrees to stay for the movie and then Seth locks the door and pulls the blinds to darken the room.  She asks why he’s locking the door and he says it’s necessary for what they are going to do and they don’t have much time.  He asks her how she feels about scary movies and she says she doesn’t like them.  He is being very mysterious and he plays the movie, which is very scary, and Jess doesn’t seem to like it.  All of a sudden he sneaks up behind her and scares her.

Sam and Todd

Sam is at home working on some cases and Todd comes over.  He has printed a ridiculous headline about the trial for the morning paper and Sam is not impressed.  Sam tells Todd it’s about time he got over his hatred for Nora and Todd says that Sam’s whole family suffered because of her.  Todd wants information out of Sam, saying that he knows Blair is up to something.  She is being too quiet and accepting things too easily and he knows that when she behaves that way, she’s up to no good.  Sam tells him she’s not up to anything, that she knows the custody agreement is iron clad and she can’t get around it, so she’s doing nothing.  Todd doesn’t believe it…he says that when Blair gets slapped, she slaps back twice.  Sam doesn’t give him any information, but warns him that if he continues the way he’s been acting, one day Starr is going to be grown up and will resent him for keeping her from her mother and brother….Todd says “Half brother and not my half.”  Sam gets a call and asks Todd to leave.  Sam goes to another room to get a file and Todd sneaks back in and looks at Blair’s file where he reads Sam’s note that says Blair is obviously in love with Todd.  Todd wonders what else she’s not telling him.

Blair, Max, Gabby, Asa

Blair walks in on Max and Gabby and they jump apart, making all kinds of excuses for why they are together in that compromising position.   Blair tells them that Asa would just love t know what’s going on and Gabby warns her that she doesn’t know how dangerous she can be.  Gabby tells her that after her past with Asa, he will never believe what she says about his new wife and Blair tells them that they must be pretty scared of what she saw to threaten her that way.  Blair says she needs to talk to Max and Gabby says he’s busy, but when Blair says it’s about the baby, Max asks Gabby to leave right away.  Gabby is furious and goes to Asa complaining about Blair.  Asa tells her that it appears she is very jealous of Blair and that baby and Gabby says it’s no such thing.  Asa is not so sure.  Asa tells Gabby that Max is going to pay…that he already knows what it’s like to lose a son – when Asa adopted Al…and now he’s going to know what it’s like to lose another son when he goes to prison for Asa’s murder and isn’t there to be a father to Blair’s baby.  Asa believes that it’s good that Blair caught Max and Gabby, because now Blair is a witness to them fooling around and it will look like Max wanted to get rid of Asa.

Blair tells Max that he is addicted and can’t help falling all over Gabby, especially after their history.  He tells her that Gabby keeps putting herself in his path and he is finding her hard to resist.  She tells him to just move out and he says that’s another one of his addictions…Asa’s money and that’s why he stays in that house.  He tells her that he also wants to be a part of his son’s life…to be there for everything and Blair says she has a way….she tells him they should get married.  He thinks she’s crazy.
