HOSPITAL

Bo walked into Nora's room and Sam told him that she was not conscious
but was very restless. Larry told him Nora had been given a 'drug
cocktail', a combination to achieve the desired effect. Bo said that
Colin's flight had left that morning without him!

In the hall outside Nora's room Lindsay told Lanie that Nora would be
safe now because she had police bodyguards. Lanie felt that they should
have seen it coming, maybe they could have stopped it from happening!
Lindsay doubted there was anything more to worry about concerning Colin.
Will approached them and wondered how his mother would know that for
sure!

LLANFAIR SLEUTH

Viki's search on Gina Russo proved productive in that she found an
engagement photo of Gina with Tim O'Rourke, with headlines that spoke of
a 'crime lieutenant!'

FATHER/SON

Asa asked Ben to get out of his house and his life! Ben wanted to know if
Asa had hired the two bodyguards and Asa had! He wanted to know why Ben
was there, didn't he need help after being the target for so many
bullets!

AWARDS LUNCHEON

Max greeted the Mayor and was met by Kelly. He didn't believe that Blair
was in a bad state of mind. Kelly was surprised the lunch hadn't been
cancelled due to the 'scandal' about him and Asa! It wasn't cancelled
because Asa hadn't pressed charges and was still living at the Buchanan
mansion! Kelly insisted that Blair had feelings for Max and had only felt
an obligation to Todd! Blair entered the room with a dramatic flourish
and threw herself into Max's arms and began to kiss him passionately!

POLICE STATION

Todd, dressed in a police uniform was desperately trying to get into the
evidence room when Sykes happened by. He asked if the 'officer' had
clearance to go in the room! Just then a call came through about a woman
creating a disturbance at the Palace Hotel. Sykes told him to take the
new guy and get to the scene!

LLANFAIR

Jess explained to Gina that although her mom wasn't happy about the
danger their lives were in, that people took chances when it came to
love. Viki came home and Jess took her boxes back to the loft. Viki told
Gina about the photo she had found of her and Tim Rourke. She wondered
who she was trying to help, Ben or Rourke!

FATHER/SON

Asa explained that if Ben was killed, he would be the prime suspect and
he didn't want to be in that position! Ben told Asa that Rourke was the
one after him and Asa showed surprise. Ben was surprised to learn that
Asa knew Rourke! Asa explained that Rourke had come to him about a
business deal months ago but he hadn't liked the terms! He wondered what
Ben had done to get on Rourke's bad side! Ben said he hadn't killed any
of his friends that was for certain! He wondered where Asa had been when
Renee was pregnant and why had hadn't taken care of her! He at least had
gotten a family out of it and a father who loved him! Ben's father taught
him how to survive in the mob! Both he and Asa had gotten the families
they always wanted. He told Asa to call off the bodyguards but he was
adamant! Ben would not get himself killed if he could help it!

SEEING RED

Blair asked the Mayor to marry her and Max and told the room that she was
'seeing red'. Max was cooperating and she wasn't going to let him do that
to her! She reached into to her purse...

FAMILY AFFAIR

Will heard Lindsay tell Lanie she thought it was safe to assume that
Colin was gone! They questioned the condition of Will's face but he told
them as far as they were concerned, he walked into a door! They wondered
if Nora would be able to tell anyone what had happened to her! Sam hoped
she would, and that Colin would reappear! Nora awoke, frightened, and
asked Bo and Sam where Colin was! They didn't know and Bo asked if she
could help him by remembering any part of last night!

LLANFAIR SLEUTH

Gina told Viki she would put Rourke in jail for Ben! She had been in the
mob and was expected to marry Rourke! She had called off the wedding to
him because she couldn't shake her feelings for Ben! Rourke had hated Ben
and her, ever since! She warned Viki to stay out of things she couldn't
really understand, she might get hurt! 

SEEING RED

Max called on Kelly to help him get Blair under control. She was spray
painting his suit red! Max realized what was going on and informed the
crowd that this had all been a set up for an insanity plea! Todd and the
rookie entered the scene, Todd held a megaphone as he told Blair to calm
down! She looked up, recognizing him and raised an eyebrow! As Max tried
to convince the room that the 'cop' in question was really Todd Manning,
Blair managed to escape to the roof! Kelly confirmed before the crowd
that the cop was 'Officer Starr'! On the roof, Todd told Blair she had
eight minutes to get out before the real cops hit the scene! She wondered
what he was up to and he said he was trying to steal the evidence back to
save her but she couldn't imagine why!

FAMILY AFFAIR

Lanie hopes that Nora's memory didn't return! A person should not have to
go through that torture all over again! If she didn't remember though,
how would anyone know what had really happened at Colin's that night!
Lindsay looked knowingly at her sister...

Bo asked Nora to try and recall the events of yesterday and she said she
remembered Sam leaving her house. Then Colin had been there, with a
needle! It was bad, they were in a bed and she was remembering things
from before, when she had been held captive!

FATHER/SON

Ben didn't want to die either, and this was the only thing they had ever
agreed on! The front door burst open with the bodyguards holding Max in
midair between them! Max claimed to be Asa's son and Asa said he'd never
seen him before! Before they could toss him out, Max had them see a photo
of him with Asa and Renee and Asa 'remembered' that Max had a room there!
Ben was surprised that Max was still living there! Max was the son Asa
really did deserve, and Ben had all the family he would ever need! He
told Asa to call the bodyguards off or he would put them away himself!

LLANFAIR SLEUTH

Gina said her admonition wasn't a 'threat' to Viki, just that she was
worried about her! Theirs was a different world, one that Viki was not
familiar with! If she insisted on tagging along, Ben would be concerned
for her safety and may neglect his own! She asked and Viki told her she
had gotten the photo of her from The Banner. Viki would endanger Ben if
she remained with them, but she refused to budge from his side! 

HOSPITAL

Bo told Nora a few of the details they had found at Colin's place.
Champagne, candles, flowers and drugs! Nora said that she was supposed to
go away with him, and there had been a banging at the door! She wondered
if that had been Sam, but Colin had been gone when Sam got to the house!
Nora told them that she was okay, whatever had happened, she was alive,
and just wanted her kids!

Lindsay quizzed Bo about Nora but he gave nothing away. Sam told Bo that
he wasn't the one who had saved Nora, someone had scared him away before
Colin could hurt her! Lanie approached and said maybe it had been her!
She had gone to Colin's and seen him, maybe she had put him off!

FINAL MOMENTS...

As they spoke outside her room, Lindsay crept inside with Nora. Nora's
eyes were closed as she had a vision of a certain female hand coming at
her holding a syringe! She opened her eyes she saw Lindsay standing at
her bedside!

Ben arrived back at Llanfair to find Viki gone. She was in an underground
garage, studying Gina's picture. She reflected on the numerous remarks
made about Ben that had struck her as 'odd' and her behavior as well.
When Ben had been shot outside of Crossroads and Gina had been so angry!
Viki hunkered down into her seat as she saw Gina approach to meet with a
man...

Kelly, at the Palace luncheon apologized to the Mayor. She wept in his
arms and explained that Blair's behavior had been erratic and troublesome
for months. Nothing had ever happened in public before! The Mayor agreed
that Blair appeared to be a very troubled woman! 

Todd told Blair 'Thank You' on the roof of the Palace! She said she
didn't need him, that she would save herself! He said what she was doing
could be dangerous and she offered him an example of dangerous! She
climbed onto the ledge of the building, and then accidentally fell off!
Todd grabbed her wrist at the last second as she flew over the side...
