Llanfair

Antonio arrives to let Jessica know the police commissioner had stationed men on the grounds to keep them safe. Jessica thanks Antonio for savingher at Jason’s Landing. She notices he is very distracted. She asks him what is wrong. Elsewhere, Keri phones her mother and asks Liz to tell the baby her mommy will be home soon. She tells Liz that if Antonio comes anywhere near her, that she is to call her immediately.

Llanview University

Joey stops by the university to see Al. They exchange pleasantries and reminisce about old times. They laugh at how Joey was always bailing Al and C.J. out of trouble. Joey finally asks Al if he has seen C.J.? Al is less than pleased at the question?

Palace Restaurant/Bar

Rex tries to smooze Renee by asking for an extra shift. Flash comes in to pay Renee for the vase that was broken in her hotel room. Later, Renee comes in and sees a man offering his key to Flash. Renee looks down to see the key sitting on the bar.

Outside the judge’s chambers

Nora, Bo and Hank continue to stew about Mitch getting bail. They are very concerned about the procedural errors that the Jason’s Landing police made. A very angry judge comes out as Mitch and his lawyer arrive.

Llanview hospital

Viki and Todd frantically try to get Victor to rewrite his will. Todd tries to videotape him too. Victor grabs Viki’s hand and she freaks out. She screams at him to get his hand off of her. Viki tells Victor just to say what he wants his will to say. Victor tells them that Mitch double-crossed him. Viki tells him to speak up now before it is too late. He tells Viki to let the past go. As they continue trying to get him to rewrite his will, Victor’s flat-lines.

Llanview University

Emily stops Keri and tells her that she just found out she is not teaching her course this semester. Keri tells her she is leaving town. Emily mistakenly asks her where she is going. Keri snaps back that it is none of her business. Jen comes in and spies Marcie making goo-goo eyes at Joey. Jen sees that Joey is talking to Al Holden. Marcie asks Jen how she can make Joey notice her.

Al tells Joey that C. J. is making changes to his life. Al tells Joey the changes don’t sound like very good ones. Joey invites Al to come over to the community center. Jessica arrives with Antonio. He walks over to Keri and hears Emily apologizing to her. She tells Emily that she is leaving. Keri tells her that today is her last class and she won’t be back after spring break and she tells Emily it is best for everyone. Antonio finally asks her, “Best for whom?” He tells her she loves teaching. Keri tells him that she loved a lot of things.

Jessica greets Joey and Al. Joey leaves and Jessica notices that Al is acting very strange. She keeps asking him if he is O.K.? He blames it on the coffee and Jessica tells him it is more than caffeine.

Palace Restaurant/Bar

Flash contemplates the man’s offer at the bar. He has a phone call and leaves to take it in the hall. Gabrielle sits down in a booth, minding her own business as Lindsay sits down next to her. She doesn’t waste any time rubbing it in that Gabrielle is alone and Nora and Bo are together.

In the judge’s chambers

Mitch’s lawyer asks for the charges to be dismissed because the police in Jason’s Landing did not do things by the book. The judge tells Nora that this argument only applies to the attempted murder charge and all of the other charges will stand. Hank steps in and respectfully asks the judge to be allowed to bring this case to trial in its entirety. Outside in the hallway, Bo threatens to arrest Mitch, if he so much as steps one foot on Llanfair property.

Llanview hospital

The doctors tell Viki and Todd that Victor suffered a major stroke and organ failure. Troy tells them he is sorry. He pronounces Victor’s time of death as 8:32 p.m. as Viki and Todd grimly watch.

Palace Restaurant/Bar

As Renee sits close by, the man comes back in from his phone call and asks Rex where the girl went. Rex tells him she left. Renee is pleased. Jen arrives to meet Lindsay. Lindsay asks Jen if they can go to her loft. Jen tells Lindsay she doesn’t want to live in her loft anymore. She asks Lindsay if she can live with her. Lindsay turns her down. She refuses to let Jen move in with him. Jen realizes that Lindsay only wanted to come to her loft to run into Troy. Jen tells her to face the facts, he rather be alone than with her.

In the judge’s chambers

The judge tells Mitch’s lawyers that she needs to present more than hearsay and since she doesn’t have any evidence to back her claims, they are going to trial. Nora and Hank leave victorious and Mitch’s lawyer is devastated. Mitch threatens her that she had better do something.

Llanview hospital

Viki and Todd stand there for a moment looking at Victor. Todd walks out into hall. Troy once again apologizes to Viki. Outside, Todd is very upset because they never got Victor to retract his will that Mitch had him sign. Viki tells Todd that they have Victor on tape admitting that Mitch tricked him. As the staff begins to wheel the body out of the room they pass Viki and Todd. Viki tells him that their father is gone and he can never harm them again.

Later, Mitch arrives to see Todd and Viki consoling one another. Mitch asks a nurse about Victor’s condition. The nurse tells him Victor died. Mitch smiles. Todd sees him and chases Mitch away. Troy brings out Victor’s belongings. He gives the envelope to Viki. They talk about Victor and Todd asks her if Victor was saying he was sorry. Viki tells Todd that Victor would have never said he was sorry. She tells him she needs to go home and be with her kids. Viki asks him to come with her. He tells her he has things to do. She tells him to come by later.

Palace Restaurant/Bar

The man that was trying to pick up Flash at the bar runs in and proclaims he has been robbed. Renee looks on very troubled.

Llanview University

Jessica and Al continue to argue about how he is acting. She tells him to work off some of his nervous energy so he can retain whatever it is he is studying.

Antonio tells Keri that if she wants to leave town without saying good-bye, it’s her choice. Keri tells him she doesn’t answer to him. He tells her that he can’t let Liz leave Llanview with his baby. Keri tells him that is her call, and personally she would not blame Liz if she took the baby as far away from him as she can. Antonio asks her what is wrong with her; with all the grief she had growing up, not knowing her father. She tells him at least her father wasn’t a liar! (Oh, puh-leeeeze! R.J., Father of the

Year!) He tells Keri he is a lot more than that and she knows it! He tells her that no one is going to keep him away from his daughter, no one. Realizing she is up for the fight of her life, Keri turns away and walks off. Jessica looks on, as Antonio stands there shattered.

Angel Square

Flash and Joey sit and talk about C.J. Joey tells her that he knows where C.J. was living. As they talk about him, Renee and the police show up.

Palace Restaurant/Bar

Bo, Nora and Hank come in venting. Lindsay asks Bo if he is working with Nora again. Bo tells Jen he knows she withheld testimony that would help their case. Jen tells him she has nothing to say to him. Bo tells her that if she is subpoenaed, the District Attorney will treat her as a hostile witness. Lindsay quickly jumps up and takes Jen away as she tells Bo to talk to Sam tomorrow. Gabrielle comes over making her presence known.

Llanview University

Emily finds Al sleeping in the Student Union. She wakes him up and tells him he needs to leave because they are planning a party. Marcia calls her. Al finds his pills and pops another one.

Jessica apologizes to Antonio for suggesting they come there at all. She apologizes for urging him to find Keri. He tells her Keri is leaving and he accepts that, however, he won’t give up his baby. He tells Jessica he hasn’ t even held her.

Llanfair

Viki comes home. She calls out to Joey and Jessica. Hearing no answer, she walks into the library. As she opens the doors, she finds Mitch Laurence sitting there. She asks him what he is doing in her house? He tells her it is not her house anymore. . .
