THE BABY SAGA:
Carlotta fusses over Keri in the hospital room. Keri tells her that being restricted to bedrest is starting to take a toll on her, and Carlotta tells her that she completely understands. When she nearly died from the poisoned cake, she was getting a bit claustrophobic herself. Keri is shocked by her revelation, and asks her what she meant by nearly died.
Carlotta says that she's surprised that Antonio hasn't told Keri yet. She goes into the details surrounding her hospitalization, only to be completely terrified when Keri goes beserk with panic. Keri thinks that the entire cake was tampered with and knowing that she ate some of the cake herself, she fears for the unborn baby's safety.
She starts screaming, "Oh, my God, what did I do to the baby?", over and over again while Carlotta tries to calm her down.
Out in the hall, Hank and Antonio are having a talk about his situation with Liz. Once again sticking his holier-than-thou nose in someone else's business, he asks Antonio if he's told Keri about it yet. Antonio assures him that although he hasn't done so yet, he will as soon as the doctor gives Keri an out of danger pass. There will be no more delays.
At that point, they hear the commotion going on inside and they race to investigate. They walk in on monitor alarms ringing, and Carlotta and Keri both screaming. Antonio and Hank make attempts to calm her down, but it's the ever-popular Doctor Konklin who is successful in accomplishing that feat.
She gets Keri to cooperate in some breathing exercises, and when everything cools off, Antonio asks Keri what happened. She tells him, and he puts her mind at ease by explaining that the piece of cake that Carlotta ate was tampered with AFTER it left the party. The rest of the cake was fine.
After ensuring that Keri was okay, Antonio and Hank resume their posts out in the hallway, where Antonio tells Hank that he stands by his decision to wait until Keri is cleared by the doctor before he springs the truth on her. Hank agrees.
Carlotta puts the finishing touches on her TLC routine, and leaves Antonio and Keri alone. (The motormouth!)
Keri asks Antonio why he never mentioned the incident to her, and he uses her panic attack as reference to justify his decision. If he had, who knows what would have happened to her or the baby? He was determined to keep her away from stress.
Keri tells him that they are a couple, and that means that you go through everything TOGETHER. From this point on, she wants to know everything. Antonio's panic and guilt is evident on his face.
THE MANNINGS, THE MOB, & THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEM:
Blair asks Sam what he's doing at the Penthouse, and better yet, why is he arguing with Todd? Sam tells her that he and Todd were ironing out a few things. She wants to know what those things are.
Todd goads Sam: Go on, Sam, tell her. Sam tells her that he came to find out how everything was after the "break-in" of the "Hitman", and Todd goaded him as usual, the rest is history.
Blair tells him them both to stop acting like babies and at that point, Starr and Hetty walk in. Starr rudely demands to know why Sam is there and Blair scolds her. Sam leaves and Blair rips into Starr for being rude, and Hetty tells Blair that Starr has been testy ever since she was picked up from school. Starr blurts out that she's been testy because Hetty refused to take her to the petting zoo, as opposed to Suzanne, who always takes her.
So, the question falls on you, Mom. WHERE IS SUZANNE?
Starr watches in confusion as her parents debate amongst themselves as to whether to tell her the "truth" or not. Blair wants to tell, Todd does not. Blair wins the debate and tells her child that Suzanne was killed, by the same man that is "after" Blair.
Starr breaks down into sobs, and Blair comforts her. She tries to explain the cruelty of such an action from one person on another as best she can, then tells Starr that the best thing she can do is to honor Suzanne by remembering all of the good she brought into Starr's life.
Todd watches as the women in his life share their heartbreak, and he is overcome with guilt. He excuses himself to make a phone call, and halfway up the stairs, he stops and turns to observe the scene once again.
Later, Starr comes downstairs with her iguana, telling Blair that she has decided to name the iguana after Suzanne. Todd returns and asks what's going on. Blair tells him about Starr's iguana-naming decision and Todd watches in guilt as Starr disappears upstairs. He sits across from Blair and announces that he has something he wants to discuss with her.
She braces herself for the worst, and the doorbell rings. It's Andrew. Blair happily greets him, then asks why he's there. Andrew tells her that he's responding to Todd's request for a visit. Blair looks questioningly at Todd, and Todd tells her that he invited Andrew over to marry them...TODAY!
THE GANNON-REYNOLDS SAGA:
Liz is stunned and happy to hear RJ's confession of love for her, then the happiness is short-lived when she announces that it can't ever come to anything, because she leaving town when the baby is born. RJ is hurt and angry, and demands to know why she's so dead set on leaving. Liz quickly blurts out that there is someone else.
RJ is not buying that, and he demands to know who he is and where he is.
She tells him that the man is in Chicago, waiting for her. He was really good to her at a time when she needed comfort. RJ again asks more questions that Liz refuses to answer.
Liz tells him to mind his own business...what is is what is. RJ asks her what about the two of them? They finally got past the anger and got back to what is good between them. Doesn't that mean anything? Liz struggles with her love for RJ, but knows that Antonio is a big obstacle, so she sticks to her lie and storms out.
Later, RJ visits Keri. She sees right through the phony smile and asks him what's wrong. Okay, there's a little bit of teeth-pulling involved, but RJ finally breaks down and tells Keri that Liz announced that there is another man. Keri says that's impossible, because Liz would have told her about him.
After awhile, Keri tells RJ not to lose hope. After all, there was a time that she thought it was over for her and Antonio, but look at them now. RJ tells her that her situation is very different, because Antonio was never involved with another person. Surprise, Daddy-O! Yes, he was.
HUH?? What?! Keri tells him not to blame Antonio. He thought he'd lost everything. He had just shot Ben, Keri had given him the engagement ring back, and he was really devastated. He met a woman who was going through a tough time and they were two people in need of comfort.
RJ raises his head in shock, making the connection between Keri's revelation and Liz's previous words. UH-OH!
GAMBLING WITH ROXY!
Roxy hits the slots to control her heartache, and who does she run into to make things worse? Stella! Yes, folks, Stella the Riot!
She asks Roxy where is the handsome hubby? Oh, I know..he dumped you!
Roxy, to no avail, obviously, tries to get past the painful words being spewed at her by her mom and says that Max doesn't like to gamble, so he stayed at home.
Yeah, sure. Tell me why he dumped you! Roxy ignores her and places her bet on Number Six Black at the Roulette table. Stella says: Still betting on low numbers, huh? Is that why he dumped you? Because you're such a low number? You're a pathetic loser, you know that?
"Oh shut up, you old bag! Who the hell do you think you are talking to my mom that way?"
Good ol' reliable Rex pops up! You can always count on him to be right where the money is! Roxy introduces him to his granny, and he almost laughs. He tells Stella off, and tells her that for her information, Roxy dumped Max, and she took him to the cleaners in the process.
That's right, Ma. I got the bar, the house, and the bank account. She produces the papers as evidence. Stella tells her that she's got all that, but she ain't got the man. What does THAT spell? L-O-S-E-R!!
Rex tells Roxy to place a bet and put the old sea hag to shame when it comes up a winner. Roxy does, and loses.
And the finale....
ESCAPE FROM THE DEVIL: THE WAR IS ON!!
Mitch faces his accuser and her allies in the Commission-Not's office. Natalie bravely repeats her accusations and includes all the details. The threats against Cris' life, Allison's transfer to the jail, and the drunk who came in after Natalie was leaving from visiting Cris.
Mitch sticks to his proclamations of innocence, saying that Natalie came to him freely, and dressed in the nightgown to entice him.
(Get ready to reach for those barf bags, folks!)
He tells Bo that Nat begged him to make love to her, to fondle her, to caress her...
(EWWWWWWWWWW!!!)
Besides, why would he want to hurt Cris? He is a forgiving man, so even Cris threats against his life have been excused. Cris says that he'll threaten him again if he has to.
"YOU SEE?" Mitch screams, "He did it again! He threatened my life!"
"I didn't hear anything," Bo says.
"Neither did I," Viki says.
"Did you say something, Cristian?" Nat says.
(LOL! I'm sorry, folks. I just got a flashback of reading a bedtime story to my children. "Not I," said the cat. "Not I," said the cow...Well, you moms get the picture!)
Mitch is frustrated, and blurts out that Bo has no proof, So either charge him or release him, because if he has to hire an attorney, there'll be hell to pay.
Bo takes his family outside and tells them that Mitch is right. They have no evidence, and without it, it becomes a case of he said-she said. Bo suggests that until they get that evidence, Natalie needs to get the hell outta dodge.
Viki says that Bo's right, and tells Nat to go back to Llanfair with her. Bo says NO! If Mitch penetrated their prison, he can get into Llanfair.
(OKAY, folks. A little comment. Bo talks as if the precinct prison is some big time fortress. And VIKI..tsk, tsk. What makes her think that LLANFAIR is so safe, when that's the place Mitch got into and created Jessica in the first place? DUH?)
Bo offers to send Natalie to a place of his own, and Cris is going with her.
They all agree, and they head back into the office to retrieve Natalie's things. Mitch demands to know where she's going and she tells him to buzz off. He screams out to her not to DARE walk away from him. Did she hear what he said, MRS. LAWRENCE? (OH, IIICCCCKKKK!)
She walks away with Cris.
Mitch transforms into a demon and starts psychotically babbling some Scriptures that have something in them that tells of a bloody sword and ends with:
"King of kings.." (He turns to stare Viki square in the eyes).
"And Lord of lords!"
