MISSING CAPTIONS FROM YESTERDAY'S RECAP:

Sorry, people, child illness duty again!

Okay, after Roxy leaves Viki's, she heads over to Capricorn. She runs into RJ, who in turn, tries to run the other way. She's not easily dismissed, and RJ makes a quip about her having her own bar to haunt. She says she does, and he asks her why is she haunting his, then?

She says that she was just in the neighborhood and she thought...

"That Max would be here," RJ finishes her sentence. She reluctantly confirms, and he tells her that Max wasn't in good shape, and he is convinced that it's because he's missing HER. Roxy manages to get RJ to tell her where Max is, and she jets off.

There, you've been scooped, let's move on...

MANNING MOBSTER MADNESS!!

We open with Blair and Todd in the park. Blair is deliriously happy to be free, while Todd remains his usual "cheery" self. She's frolicking about in the snow, trying to persuade Todd to join her in her activities of mirth. He tells her to enjoy herself, he has to make a phone call.

Blair jumps around again, then gets emotional and turns to thank Todd for saving her life and giving her her freedom again. WEEEEELLLL, Todd gets uncomfortable, and we viewers know why, he's no hero, he's a schemer. He is uncomfortable with all of her praises because he knows she wouldn't have needed to be rescued if he hadn't planned the whole dangerous situation in the first place!

Anyway, she decides to stop the mush and tells him that when she gets back from her run or whatever, she and Todd should plan to take a trip. He says they'll go to the movies. Blair says she was thinking more along the lines of an out-of-town trip. Todd tells her they'll talk about it later, he has to make a phone call. He leaves, and Blair begins to do some warm-up stretches, just as Sam approaches and calls out her name.

She turns around and he asks her why she is out in public.

She tells him the story of the hitman who came to the penthouse and the events that followed. Sam is suspicious of the details, especially the neatly-wrapped results, and he abruptly brings their conversation to an end. He asks Blair to excuse him, he has something to take care of.

Flash over to the Penthouse, Todd is annoyed with the persistent banging on the door. He grumbles loudly as he walks, and is completely aggravated to see the actor he hired to play The Hitman standing there.

He asks the actor if he's gone crazy, showing up at his door? The man walks inside, and Todd asks him if he's really gone crazy, standing inside of his house? The man tells Todd that the one who is crazy is Todd, if he thinks that the money Todd paid him was enough.

Todd tells him that he must be a REAL wacko to think that he can shake him down for more money. The "Hitman" asks him where Blair is. Todd tells him to shut up about Blair. The "Hitman" tells him that Blair is really beautiful, and it bothered him to scare her like that. He tells Todd that he would really hate to pop Blair's balloon by telling her that Todd planned the whole farce, but if Todd doesn't ante up some more cash....

Todd quickly pulls out a wad of cash from his pocket and stuffs it in the actor's hands. That's all there is, he says. No seconds, no return visits. Now take it, get the hell outta town, and more importantly, stay the hell away from him and Blair.

He throws the actor out on his....

Okay. A few minutes later, there's another knock on the door, and Todd, assuming it's the actor returning, starts to scream out that the guy just doesn't quit. He's surprised to see Sam there at first, but he gives Sam a big grin.

He asks Sam what he wants, and Sam tells him that it's funny how the morning after he and Blair reunite, the shooter is found and arrested. He tells Todd:

"You know what I think? I think there never was a shooter!"

A NIGHT AT THE "ROXY":

Tooooooo funny, folks!

Roxy is a riot, and I'll say it till I'm blue in the face!

Okay, let me back up a bit.

After leaving Capricorn, Max continues his drinking binge with RJ's liquor. He starts watching Luna's tapes again, falling deeper into the emotional pit in which he's already drowning. Liz enters, surprised to see someone in RJ's place, and excuses herself. She explains that she left some of her things there and just came to retrieve them. He tells her not to mind him.

She starts to walk past him, then stops short as she spots Luna on the TV screen. She tells Max that there's something really nice about Luna..something about her eyes. Max tells her that Luna was his wife...she died a few years ago. Liz realizes that Max is in pain, and she sits down to talk to him.

They were pretty much at it for a looooong while, and finally, Liz tells him that she knows his pain is due to a lost love, not lost fortune. Max tells her that she's right, he just didn't realize how good Roxy was. After a few more bouts of drunken babbling, Max collapses in a drunken stupor on Liz's chest, just as Roxy walks in!

Weeeelll, she let them both have it! The nerve of him! All this time she's thinking that he was torn up about her, and he's here cozying up to some blonde bimbo. Well, he's lost her and he lost everything! And she storms out, leaving poor Max never being able to get a word in edgewise!

Max and Liz are stunned, but Liz convinces him to drink a mug of coffee while she tries to find Roxy and do some damage control. Max puts up a fight, then takes the cup from Liz. He sets it down, untouched, as soon as she walks out.

Back at Capricorn, RJ and Lindsay are discussing Troy. Lindsay, (after having been informed on the upcoming Valentine's Day nuptials between Nora and Troy), tells RJ that the wedding will never happen. RJ spends a good amount of time trying to convince Looney that Troy will NOT be marrying HER, and he WILL be marrying Nora, so Looney needs to accept it and move on.

Loonsey tells him that when Nora finds out that Troy has been cheating on her, possible even on their wedding night, she'll dump him and he will come running back to Lindsay.
(I don't know about you, folks, but I hear a cuckoo clock chirping in the background!)

RJ, his impatience with Lindsay's delusions quite evident on his face, tells her that she's kidding herself, and frankly, he doesn't have time for it. He walks away, leaving Lindsay to take a mental flight on her Superbroom and fantasize about Troy telling her that he made it all the way to the altar but couldn't go through with marrying Nora because he realized he's really in love with Lindsay.

(Yeah, right! THAT'LL happen!)

As RJ storms away from one lunatic, Roxy comes storming over to him, blasting him for sending her into a trap. She accuses him of telling her that Max was all busted up over losing her, (which RJ repeats is the case), but she tells him that what she found was him all tangled up with some blonde who ain't got enough blonde in her to fill Roxy's shoes.

RJ tells her to quit bumbling and tell him who she's talking about. Roxy blurts out,

"I'm talking about that LIZ chick, that's who!"

Well, I don't know about you, but I sure saw dust flying when RJ got the hell outta dodge to go to his penthouse!

He flew home, and without letting Max say a word, he physically tossed Max out on his drunken rear, telling him that he has a funny way of showing friendship by hitting on his woman!

Max tries to explain, but RJ is raving mad!  Poor Max!

Later, Liz returns, and asks for Max. RJ tells her that he threw Max out, and Liz is shocked, demanding to know why. RJ tells her that he can't have Max hitting on the woman that he loves! WOO-HOO!

PRENUPTIAL DISCOVERIES!

Allison continues to try to make a deal with Nora...get me off in exchange for information on Lindsay's bed partner. Nora tells Allison that she's not interested in who Lindsay is sleeping with. Troy walks in just as Nora says that, and Allison tells Nora that maybe she should be interested in who Lindsay is sleeping with. This she says while looking dead on at Troy.

Nora turns, shocked to see Troy there. She gets up and asks Troy why he's there. Troy said he was going to ask her the same thing. Nora tells her she was assigned Allison's case, what's HIS excuse?

Troy tells Nora that he knows for a fact that Looney was the mastermind behind the prison break, and he came to visit Allie to see if he could get her to help him put Looney back in jail. Nora tells him that she thought they both decided to put Lindsay behind them, and Troy says that they did, but Lindsay isn't giving up on him. She keeps sending him weird gifts and popping up everywhere he goes. If they don't get her out of the way, she might ruin things for them.

Nora tries to assure him that Lindsay isn't that powerful, and that they love each other. As they talk, Allison suddenly screams out:
"What kind of lies is that Troy MacIver telling now? Men, they all lie! They don't care about the women who love them! I loved Ben and he betrayed me! I loved Mitch and he betrayed me! You love Troy, and he'll betray you!"

Nora and Troy finally agree to put Lindsay behind them and move on with their wedding plans.

And now the finale...

LOONVIEW TEEN BEAT: FENDING OFF THE DEVIL!

Cris takes in what Natalie told him about not fighting off Mitch's advances in shocked silence. Natalie takes his silence to mean that he is disgusted by her and she goes off on a tangent trying to explain herself.

She tells him all about Mitch's threats, and his plan to get back at Viki and Cris by turning her into damaged goods. Cris tells her that he should have seen it coming...that JERK!

Natalie tells him that he can't blame himself, no one ever really knows what Mitch will do next. Cris said that HE should have. He tells Natalie that he told her not to go anywhere near Mitch, and she went to take him on alone anyway. Why? She said it was the only way to save his life. She tells him again what the threats were, and informs him that the drunk that came into the jail when she last went to visit him was one of Mitch's people also.

Cris is shocked, and Natalie sadly tells him that she knows he'll never look at her in the same light again, but...

Cris sits her down and tells her that she has nothing to be ashamed of. If anything, he loves her more for putting herself on the line, but he would NEVER want her to do anything like that for him again. He would rather risk whatever Mitch had planned for him than have her be his victim.

Natalie tells him that she just couldn't stand it when Cris was in jail, vulnerable to Mitch and falsely imprisoned. But he's out now and.....heeeeyyy, how DID he get out?

Cris tells her everything. Jen was working with Mitch, and she confessed to the judge the details of the phony cell phone call. Natalie was heated! She tells Cris that when she gets her hands on that little....

No..no..she can't go after Jen, and Cris can't go after Mitch. She just can't believe that Jen would lie like that. Cris has more of a newsflash for Nat..that's not all she lied about!

The phone rings before Cris could finish. It's Bo, telling Natalie that he needs her to come down to the station and make a formal statement against Mitch so that he can remain in custody.

Cris says, okay, then they go together. He's not letting Natalie out of his sight EVER again. They walk out the door, hand in hand to battle the Devil!!

Tune in tomorrow, folks!
