One Life to Live Recap for Tuesday, February 18, 2003

The radio disc jockey continues his mantra in the background as we begin today:

Abandoned theater

In the aftermath of a gunshot being fired, Bo and Antonio arrive on the scene as Blair hysterically tells them, that Todd, Natalie, Cristian and Mitch are all inside. Bo tells a uniformed officer to watch Blair and keep her outside. Blair however struggles with the officer and fights with him to let her go.

Llanfair

Viki finally gets home, and finds Starr very agitated by the events that have taken place. She screams at her Aunt Viki that the bad man took her mom, and her dad went to find them. Viki manages to calm Starr down, and asks her to go into the kitchen and get them some cookies or something. Starr however, knows that Viki just wants to talk to Jessica about her mom and dad. Starr tells them she knows her dad will find her mom.

Abandoned theater

Inside the theater, Bo finds Todd and manages to wake him up. Antonio finds Cristian unconscious and bleeding badly. He starts screaming for someone to call an ambulance and realizes that Cristian has lost a lot of blood.

Due to a power outage or something, I am missing about eight minutes of this episode. I will try to recap from here. I pick up the episode at Llanview Hospital.

Llanview hospital

At the hospital, Blair tells Nora about Todd's betrayal and how she hoped Starr would be able to get Todd to help her. Nora jogs Blair's memory about seeing Mitch with some hair dye.

Jessica arrives to find Carlotta and Antonio extremely upset. Carlotta tells them that Natalie is the cause of all of this. Troy comes out and tells them that the bullet went clean through and he expects Cristian to have a full recovery. Troy tells them Cristian is stable. Carlotta asks to see him. Inside his room, Cristian tells Carlotta he is fine. He asks Antonio where Natalie is. They don't answer.

Llanview Police Department

Bo corners Todd into finally admitting that he shot Cristian. Viki goes off on Todd about sacrificing her daughter, in order to save Blair. Bo yells at him because thanks to him, Natalie is with Mitch Laurence and Cristian is

fighting for his life. As they continue to get nowhere with Todd, Nora

calls to tell them that Cristian is going to be all right and relays Blair's news that Mitch has a bottle of hair dye. Blair grabs the phone and asks Bo if she can go home to her children. Then she asks if Bo is going to let Todd go home too. Bo tells her Todd is being held for shooting Cristian Vega.

(Due to my power outage, I do not know where Mitch has taken Natalie.)

Mitch has Natalie tied to a chair. He is ready to use the hair dye Blair saw on Natalie. He tells her to close her eyes. Later, wrapped in a towel, Mitch puts a necklace on Natalie. She asks him what the "J" is for. He tells her Jezebel. Then he holds her against her will and drugs her. She screams and falls silent.

Llanview hospital

Jessica runs into Jen and tells her about Cristian. Jen goes into see him. She tells him it is all her fault that Mitch did this, because she could have put him in jail. Cristian is upset when he finds out that Jen was at Mitch's house and that he tried to kill her. Jen tells Cristian about Mitch threatening her in her hospital room. Jen remembers something about a map and a place called Jason's Landing. Cristian asks Jen to help him get out of there tonight.

Out in the hallway, Antonio and Jessica talk about his baby. Jessica brings up Keri and he tells her that Keri is still refusing to see him. Jen comes out to talk to Antonio. She distracts them as Cristian slips out. Jen tells Antonio that she did in fact lie to the police and Mitch Laurence did threaten her.

Llanfair

Blair arrives at Llanfair. Starr runs into her arms. They hug each other.

Llanview Police Department

As Viki and Todd continue to argue, Viki sees the evidence bag with the scarf in it. She freaks out. She tells Todd that it looks like a scarf that was worn by her father, Victor Lord.

Meanwhile.Mitch brings a drugged and blond headed Natalie into the room where the old man is sitting in his wheelchair. Mitch says, Victor Lord, meet your granddaughter." He calls out to her and calls her, "Jessica!"
