The women of Llanview are dreaming . . .

Cristian is walking down the snow covered road calling Natalie’s name, as he falls, headlights fall on him and he flags down a car.

Todd is listening to the radio as he drives Natalie back to Llanview; the voice of the night comes on. . “Do I have to tell you what day this is, if I do, shame on you.  That’s right Happy Valentines Day, you are happy aren’t you, hey if love won’t make you happy nothing will.”

Blair struggles while her hands and feet are tied; she is trying to get comfortable on a small chaise.  “I love the night, don’t you, the darkness, to sleep perchance to dream.  In dreams we search for the truth to find something about ourselves and something about those we love.”

Jessica is holding Starr as they sleep on the sofa at Llanfair.

Flash is sleeping fitfully while holding a stuffed rabbit in an abandoned building.

Blair wakes to find Todd sitting next to her “Wake up sleepy head; it’s time for us to go.”  “Go where” Blair asks, Todd hands her a white rose and tells her it’s Valentines Day we have a party.  Blair asks him what makes him think she would go anywhere with him.  “I know your heart is filled with love and forgiveness” Todd says, Blair tells him that this must be a dream the rose is just like last Valentines Day and because he is saying and doing all the right things it has to be a dream.  Todd asks her why she is always so suspicious.  Suddenly they are dressed in evening clothes entering Capricorn, everyone is there and a beautiful young woman is singing.  Blair asks what is going and Todd tells her she is safe, as long as she is here she is safe.  Blair tells him nothing is fine that she has to go find the kids, Todd tells her to relax but Blair tells him she can’t because she can’t trust him.  Todd takes her in his arms and tells her he would never let anything happen to Starr or Jack, he tells her that he knows what is going on, that deep down she knows the kids are safe with him and that deep down she knows that she is safe with him.  He tells her that this is her dream, she brought him there and she brought him there because she knows everything will be cool if he is with her.  Todd tells Blair that their song is playing and pulls her to the dance floor.

Todd is driving and listening to the radio, “In dreams are asking where the line is, the line between love and obsession sometimes we don’t even know we’ve crossed it until it is too late.”

Natalie is walking thought the cave calling for Cristian, wondering what happened to Todd.  Suddenly she is at Capricorn, everyone is dressed in white evening clothes and Natalie has on a blue fur and fringed outfit that is completely out of place.  She walks up to Troy and asks him if he has seen Cristian, Troy looks her up and down, makes a face and tells her no.  Natalie walks away and sees Hank and Renee, she asks if they have seen Cris, Hank looks at her and says no as they both walk away Renee asks Hank if he saw what Natalie was wearing, she obviously has no taste.    Natalie walks to Bo and Gabrielle, as they are dancing Gabrielle exclaims “What a hideous outfit.”  Bo demands to see her drivers license and invitation, Natalie looks confused and Bo tells her no arguments, he wants to see her identification and invitation right away.  Emily looks at Troy and wonders what Natalie thinks she is doing here, she doesn’t belong here.  Natalie tells Bo she doesn’t have an invitation and he suggests that she leave pointing to the exit.  Natalie turns and walks away saying she has to find Cris, she sees Rae and asks her if she can help her, Rae tells her of course, but that she won’t.  Natalie tells her that she has to find Cristian and Lindsay sits up behind her asking if she is looking for the man that Natalie stole from her daughter, Sam walks over and says that she ruined their daughter’s life and now she wants their help.  Lindsay wants to know why they should help her, as Sam calls her a thief, Lindsay agrees, a thief of hearts.  Natalie tries to run away but bumps into RJ, she says she is sorry and RJ says that he is too, what does she think that she is doing there anyway?  Natalie sees Jessica and runs to her asking her to help, Jessica turns and says that she is trying to listen to the singer and Natalie is disturbing her.   Natalie begs her to help and Jessica tells her to stop whining, that she doesn’t belong there why doesn’t she get that?  Jessica stands up and tells her she doesn’t even know how to dress for a party and what is it going to take for Natalie to realize that she is never going to fit in. 

Cris wonders if those are tire tracks they see ahead, the driver tells him they can try then he wants to know if he thinks the guy that hit him took his girlfriend and wonders why he was left on the side of the road.  Cris tells him not to worry about it, to just drive faster so that they can catch up, he tells Natalie to hold on, he is coming.

Natalie asks Jessica why she won’t help her, she is after all her sister, Jessica tells her that helping her is like a job that never ends because she doesn’t belong and she never will.  She tells her to just go away, that the music is so much more interesting than she is.  Jessica turns away from Natalie, Nat tells her that she has no right to talk to her like that and wants to know why she is talking to her like this.  Jessica asks “like what” and Natalie tells her so shallow, whenever she looks at Nat she just sees her clothes, who she is with and never takes the time to see the “real” Natalie.  Jessica asks her who would want to and Natalie replies that Cristian would and that he always has.  Jessica tells her that he is the only one.  Natalie agrees and tells her that he always has and wouldn’t let anyone change his mind and that is why she loves him so much,  Jessica tells her that it seem Cris has disappeared and she is alone.  Natalie says that she won’t let anyone stand between them not Jessica or Mitch or anyone, that their love is strong and she knows that now, Mitch says that she is wrong, dead wrong and Natalie turns away, she runs calling for Cristian but everywhere she turns Mitch is there saying no one is here but her husband and that she will never escape him.  

Natalie call out “No, no” in her sleep, Todd looks over at her and reaches out to feel her forehead; he comments that her fever is gone.

Natalie tells Mitch to get our of her life, he tells her that will never happen, she is his wife and he is her husband, Natalie tells him she is not in his life anymore that he will never have her, that she is too strong for him, that she has so much love in her heart that she can survive anything ,can conquer anything even him, she tells him that he is going to lose that he will neve4r be a match for her because he will never know the kind of love she has the kind of happiness she has because his heart is empty.  Mitch asks her if her love is so strong then why is she all alone.  “She’s not alone Laurence” Cristian says as he stands beside Natalie, “Love is stronger than hate and that is what you are, hate, evil nothing and that’s why you’ll lose.”  Antonio and Bo walk towards Mitch telling him he is under arrest and cuff him, Mitch tells them that they can’t do this, Bo tells him to watch him that he has been looking forward to this for a long time.  As they take him away he calls for both Natalie and Jessica.

Jessica notices a light and quietly gets up so that she won’t disturb Starr; she walks to the terrace where the light is coming from.  As she steps through she finds herself at Capricorn dressed in a lovely pink dress.  Everyone comme4nts on how wonderful she looks, how nice you can look with enough money, all of the men are staring at her.  She sees Natalie and wants to know if she is back, is she alright, Natalie looks at her and says yes and starts to dance and walk away.  Jessica notices Antonio sitting at the bar and walks towards him. 

Jessica and Starr are asleep on the couch and the phone rings waking Starr, Todd is calling and she wants to know if he found Blair yet, he tells her no but it won’t be much longer.  He asks if she has held up her end of the bargain and not told anyone, she tells him that it hasn’t been easy, and wonders why it is taking so long to find Blair.  Todd tells her they are on their way and it won’t be much longer, Starr asks is everything will be ok and Blair will forgive him if he saves her.  Todd tells her to go give Jack a kiss and go back to sleep and when she wakes up this will all be over and everything will be just fine.  Starr hangs up and goes back to sleep.

Everyone is at Capricorn, Lindsay and Troy cuddle in a booth, Emily and Sam are talking at a table, Jessica stand next to Antonio at the bar, “Well, well, well, if it isn’t Little Miss Rich Girl” Jessica asks him why he gives her such a hard time about money and Antonio asks her if she has looked in a mirror lately, she says it’s a party she thought she would get dressed up, Antonio turns away and Jessica tells him that for a cop he is totally unfair.  Antonio tells her that life isn’t fair and he can live with it as he gets up and walks away.  Jessica follows and asks him if he thinks that because she has money that she is out of touch with the rest of the world. Antonio responds that it happens. Princess and Jessica tells him not to all her that, he doesn’t know her and know what she has been through in her life.  A phone rings and Antonio answers “Yeah, I’m on it.”  He turns to Jessica and tells her she is under arrest, suddenly Jessica is in a black outfit.  Jessica asks why and Antonio tells her because she is Mitch Lawrence’s daughter and that is crime enough, Jessica pulls away and tells him that is not her fault, he tells her that there are some things she will have to learn to live with, Jessica tells him that just because his life is falling apart is no reason to destroy hers.  Antonio wants to know what makes her think his life is falling apart and Jessica looks over his shoulder, Antonio turns and sees Keri standing beside RJ holding the baby.  He turns back to Jessica as she apologizes for throwing that in his face, it wasn’t fair, Antonio tells her it is ok, he dumped on her about the money thing and walks back towards the bar he tells her that she is the only one who didn’t jump down his throat about what happened and Jessica tells him that everyone makes mistakes,  Antonio agrees and says that some are bigger than others, Jessica tells him that the thing about mistakes is that once you face up to them you can move on with your life, that sometimes you can use a little help Antonio wants to know what she is saying and Jessica tells him that if he ever needs anyone that she is there for him. Antonio thanks her and tells her that he wishes it were that simple but facts are facts, he can’t talk to her about anything because she is Mitch Lawrence’s daughter and takes her arm to cuff her and takes her away.  

Jessica wakes up and looks around, she gets up and walks to the terrace doors; she opens the doors and lets the breeze hit her face.

Flash wakes up to find Joey sitting next to her telling her he has come to take her someplace really special.  She tells him she is too cold to move and he tells her they will warm things up.  Flash looks around Capricorn and tells Joey she has never been to a place like this, Joey tells her to relax and think of this as a night of possibilities.

“Valentines is a night of possibilities, embrace it, dive into it, let it swallow you up and as you slide down into the night you’ll soon see it all comes back to love and caring, about finding the one you know is there who needs you just as much as  you need her go for it, reach out ”

Nora is sleeping in a chair with a book on her lap and her wedding invitation on the arm, the book falls and Nora wakes looking at the invitation.   As Nora walks across the room, she is suddenly in Capricorn dressed in her wedding dress.  “Aw look; I knew the night would not be complete unless Nora showed up to play the martyr.” Lindsay tells Emily as they both look pityingly at Nora as Emily tells her that her dress is tasteless.  Nora tells them that today was to be her wedding day and Lindsay asks her why she isn’t wearing black, isn’t she in mourning?  Lindsay goes on that Nora probably has a whole closet full of black because she is a perpetual loser.  Rae walks up and tells her that although she hates to talk about information given to her in a private therapy session, but that Nora knows she has never been able to hold onto a man, it is time to wake up and smell the inadequacies.  Lindsay tells her Rae is right, she might as well face the fact that she can’t cut it.  Troy walks up and says Lindsay is right, he could not have said it better himself, that Nora couldn’t keep him interested and that is why he had to go for the sexy number sitting here and he sits next to Lindsay taking her in his arms and kissing her.  Bo and Gabrielle dance by as Bo says he has to agree with Troy, that it is a shame that she could never keep any relationship going, he and Gabrielle twirl and dance away.  Sam moves towards Nora saying that she does the falling in love part really well but to forget about the romance part, Nora turns away and Hank is there telling her to listen to them because they are all telling her the truth she is a loser, Sam tells her the real problem is that she puts her work first, Hank tells her that is the reason she couldn’t keep their daughter in her life, and both Hank and Sam walk away.  Bo and Gabrielle dance by again and Bo tells her that is why she could never keep any man, ever, he and Gabby dance away.  Troy tells her that she goes from one man to the next and yet, here she is, alone again.  Everyone in the club begins to chant that she is alone.  Nora stops them and says “Alright, I am alone and I have made mistakes, a lot of them but they don’t define me, not anymore, they inform me and I am going to be a better person because of them.  I am sorry that I caused you hurt and pain, all of you, except you (pointing at Troy) but I’m learning, I’m learning and I’m gong to be better, I’m going to make it.”

Nora wake up and sees the wedding invitation, she picks it up and smiles as she tears it up and throws it into the air.

“Sometimes you need a dream to show you who you really are, where your center is, that‘s when you realize that nothing can destroy you, not if you stand strong and fight back, not if you know in your heart you can trust your dreams to show you the way.”

Flash tells Joey that she doesn’t belong here, Joey tells her to relax and walks her towards the dance floor, as they pass Bo and Gabrielle, Bo tells him that is quite a date he has and Gabrielle comments that she is a cute girl, RJ wants to know who the girl is with Joey, everyone is making comments about how lovely she is and how confident, how strong, as they sit at a table, Renee says “She finally found her place in the world.”  Joey tells her everyone here thinks she is cool, Flash tells him that she feels like she knows everyone, that she has seen them around, he would be surprised how much you can learn just by hanging out, walking around.  Joey asks her why she came to Llanview and Flash responds that she knew he would get around to asking her that, that she is looking for someone, Joey comments that it must be someone important to her, Flash tells him it is the most important person in the world to her and when she lost him a part of her died, she actually thought he might be here tonight, Joey wants to know who this person is and why she feels she can’t talk to him about this, Flash tells him that things would change and she doesn’t want things to change. 

Jessica walks into the room carrying a drink as notices that Starr is having a bad dream, crying out in her sleep; Jessica holds her and comforts Starr telling her that it will be alright.

Flash tells Joey that this is all so crazy, she is in a place she has never been surrounded by people she doesn’t know and Joey tells her that sometimes dreams are glimpses into the future,  Flash asks him that if she dreams something then it might come true, Joey tells her to go for it and she asks him to dance, she tells him that he is the only person that has ever looked at her and not cared that she was poor and homeless, Joey tells her that those things aren’t forever, they aren’t her that she is smart and that she feels things people don’t realize and she is beautiful that is what he sees.  Flash kisses Joey and they dance.

Cris is passed out and the driver tries to wake him.  Cris comes to and realizes that the car is stopped, the driver tells him they need to find a doctor, Cristian tells him he doesn’t understand, that this is a matter of life and death and the man says “Yeah, your life if we don’t get you to a doctor.” Cris grabs him and tells him to drive, he has to find Natalie, and finally the man agrees and drives on.

 Blair and Todd are alone in Capricorn and Todd tells her she looks upset, and if she is upset that everyone is gone, she can bring them back, it is her dream.  Blair tells him it’s not that and he knows it, Todd asks her how and Blair tells him he is the one who said he could read her mind, Todd tells her even he has his limits and Blair tells him to stop playing games that they both know why she is upset, that she is letting him back into her life.  Todd tells her that this is her dream and that she brought him there, she tells him that he followed her into her dream, that she can’t get him out of her mind, that he is worse than a ghost and that it is not fair, Blair walks away.  “We complete each other Blair, you know that.”  Blair looks at Todd and asks him if he is coming for her, that she is tied up and helpless, that Mitch said he was going to kill her and she believes him, she wants to know if she can count on Todd.

Blair wakes up, looks on the floor and sees a white rose; she says Todd’s name as Mitch walks into the room.  Mitch asks who she is whispering to, not him he trust, maybe God, a dying women’s feverish last prayer, a plea for divine intervention, how mundane, but no, she was whispering to Todd, he asks if Todd answered and Blair tells him to go to hell.  Mitch tells her someday he will have to wash her mouth out with soap, he turns and looks at the clock telling Blair that Todd’s time is almost up, Blair tells him that Todd is coming for her that she can feel it.

“Well, you’ve got to love a good dream, and a good storm, did I mention love and music, can’t forget those, never forget those.”

Todd’s cell phone rings “You’re late.” Mitch says, Todd tells him that he is not, that he is almost there and want to talk to Blair, Mitch tells him that he doesn’t make the rules and Todd tells him to let him talk to Blair right now or the deal is off.  Todd asks her if she is hurt, Blair asks him what is happening, Todd tells her he is coming to get her and then everything will be alright, he promised her. 

Cris sees Todd car and asks the driver to speed up, he whispers to Natalie to hold on, he is coming.

The nurse is feeding the old man, he waves her away and wheels over to a table and picks up a glass of red wine, he takes a drink and his hand starts to shake, the wine begins to drip on his robe, running down over the "L" monogrammed there.
