One Life to Live Recap for Friday, September 27, 2002

Jen is at the diner and Carlotta has seen the book she’s carrying and the vitamins and knows she’s pregnant.   Jen tells her that no one was supposed to know, but of course, this is all part of her plan.  She lets Carlotta know that she may not even bother to have the baby just to give it up.  Carlotta doesn’t understand and Jen tells her that she doesn’t think Cris wants to marry her.  Carlotta is shocked but says she’ll talk to Cris and Jen tells her not to…but she is secretly thrilled that her plan is working out so well. 

Cris is with Natalie at the quarry and they talk about their dilemma.  Natalie tells him she can’t be with him if Jen is pregnant…that he has to be with Jen.  Cris says he can be a good dad to his child and still be with the woman he loves and Natalie wonders if Jen would move away out of anger so Cris couldn’t see the baby…or somehow refuse him his rights…Cris says Jen wouldn’t do that.  Natalie tells him he would be missing all the great moment’s in his child’s life by not being there and Cris says he would be there for the most important things.  They really don’t solve anything and Cris gets a call to meet his mom right away.

Cris finds Carlotta as his loft and she is furious that he refuses to marry Jen when she’s carrying his child.  Cris tells her he is in love with Natalie and that he doesn’t feel the same about Jen any more.  She tells Cris that she fears Jen will have an abortion if he doesn’t marry her.  Carlotta reminds him that Natalie is the one who played the dirty tricks on he and Jen in the past and Cris says it’s just that….the past.  They argue and argue and Cris tells her it’s his life.  She tells him that his father would have never put the woman he loved first in this situation…he would have put the innocent child first.  Cris thinks about it and tells Carlotta he knows what he has to do.

Roxy is at the gypsy’s place and tells her she needs to call up Luna so she can get some tips from her.  The gypsy tries and gets a shock though her body.  To try again, it’s going to cost Roxy more money…she doesn’t care.   The gypsy tries again and she says she can see a dark haired woman in the crystal ball wearing a long dress and crystal necklace.  Roxy says that is Luna but the gypsy says the woman is waving and has faded away.

Max is at home thinking about Luna…Al comes over and he is all confused.   He tells Max that he went to Carlotta’s for a cup of coffee and Jen practically threw him out, calling him a stalker.  Max tells him to steer clear of Jen and Al explains that she has been giving him mixed signals and that she has begged him to sleep with her twice recently.  Max is very surprised but tells Al that maybe Jen is just confused.  Al is convinced that she loves and wants him and Max tells him maybe he should just move on…maybe Jen has changed her mind.

Liz, RJ and Hank are at the University.  RJ wants to continue the conversation they started where Liz admitted that she loved him.  Hank wants to hang around and RJ tells him to get lost.  Hank finally leaves and RJ and Liz talk.  He tells her that he never had a chance to raise his daughter and that no one could have predicted what could have happened if they had been given a chance to be a family.  Liz tells him he gave up that chance when he chose the streets and wound up in prison.  She admits that she did love him, but that is all in the past.

Jen is at the quarry, proud of herself…talking to herself about punishing everyone…Al will never raise his own child…Cris will have to marry her and Natalie will never have Cris.  Natalie appears and Jen wonders how much she heard.  Natalie didn’t hear what Jen was saying and Jen proceeds to tell Natalie that she is upset because she doesn’t think Cris wants to marry her.  Jen tries to get Nat to talk to Cris but Natalie refuses and says she doesn’t want any part in their relationship.  This is just what Jen wants to hear.

Antonio still doesn’t know that Liz is Keri’s mom.  He still hasn’t met her.  Liz is very upset and now prays that Keri isn’t pregnant…but Keri shows up at her hotel room alone and tells her that she and Antonio just went to take a pregnancy test and she is definitely pregnant.
