One Life to Live Recap for Tuesday, September 17, 2002

Well, let's see, where are we today.  Today we begin at:

Cristian and Jen's loft

Cristian looks at the photos that Jen had taken of him and Natalie, while Jen is in the bathroom having a hissy fit because her pregnancy test showed she wasn't pregnant.  Jen can't believe she isn't pregnant after having slept with Al twice, then she reads the instructions on the home pregnancy test and thinks she may have taken the test too early.

Troy's loft

Nora is concerned because Troy disposed of his African necklace, however he tries to downplay the situation, by telling her he was moving on with his life and was trying to forget his past.  He tells Nora he hurt someone terribly and wanted to forget it.  Nora can't allow Troy to beat himself up over past mistakes telling him she made a bunch of her own.  As they look out at the view from his balcony, they bask in how wonderful their lives are together.

In Africa

Lindsay asks Mr. Cashman about Troy's wife.  He tells her that Troy's wife's name was Joanna.  He also tells her that Troy did something, and in the manner he said it, Lindsay asks what Troy did.  Mr. Cashman tells her to call him Gordy.  Joanna never really liked it there and Troy made them stay. Troy allowed Gordy to show Joanna the sights when he was too busy.  Gordy tells Lindsay they fought constantly.  Lindsay finally has to admit she is Troy's bitter enemy.  She tells Gordy she needs to see Joanna.  He finally tells Lindsay that Joanna is dead.

At Blair's mansion

As Blair confirms her love for Todd to Jack, Sam walks in.   She gets mean and rude again, asking him how to get rid of him.  Sam offers to help Blair find Todd.  Blair tells Sam that she doesn't want him doing anything and to call off his private investigator.  Blair tells Sam she still loves Todd and she can't believe it.  She realizes that love is not enough, and she tells Sam that love won't keep Todd from being the monster he is.  Sam asks Blair what happens if Todd comes back?  She tells Sam if Todd came back, she'd pack up the children and leave town.  Sam asks her even if Todd says he has changed?  She tells Sam she'd even sign the divorce papers right now if she had them, and wall-la, Sam just happens to have them with him.

Somewhere in the South Pacific

Ross visits the raft and sees a storm coming.  He hopes Tea doesn't leave with Todd.  Meanwhile, in the bunker, Todd admits to Tea that he still loves Blair.  He apologizes and asks her if she is still going to leave with him. Tea tells Todd she can't even think of leaving with him, and Todd has a problem leaving her there with Ross.  Tea accuses Todd of being jealous. She begs Todd to stay.  Todd goes ballistic when she asks him to stay.  She tells him she doesn't want him to die.  He tells her he can't stay; he has to try, so that he can be with his family.  Ross interrupts them.  Ross tells them there is a storm coming and Todd should leave soon.  Tea tells Todd she won't go with him and she won't see him off either. Todd leaves. Ross follows him.

At the Student Union

Chad arrives with Natalie to the dance at the Student Union.  She seems a bit distracted.  Chad notices and asks about it.  He asks her who she keeps looking for and Natalie can't answer.  Shawna and Rex are also there, complaining how boring the evening is going to be, but neither has money to leave.  He sees his ATM/Jessica walk in.  He moves in and complains about having to work and needing money for books.  She offers to loan him the money and asks him how much he needs.  Jessica tells him she is so happy he is going to Llanview University that she will do whatever it takes to help him do well.  Cristian and Jen arrive late.  Cristian and Chad leave the two girls alone for a few minutes.  Jen tells Natalie they were late because they had sex before they came to the dance.  A song comes on and Jen asks Cristian to dance with her, as Natalie watches from the sidelines.  Seth jumps on Rex for asking for more money, once again.  Rex brushes him off and he leaves.  Seth can't get Jessica to see Rex for what he is and Jessica throws what he and Natalie did to her, in his face.  Rex runs into Natalie mooning all over Cristian and Jen dancing.  Rex leaves and Jen sees Natalie watching them.  She pulls Cristian into a lip-lock like no other.  Natalie storms off as Cristian watches.  Seth tells Jessica she is right he did those bad things, but he changed his mind after he got to know her.  Jessica tells Seth that Rex is just a kid and he is sweet.  Rex and Shawna take off to go enjoy their evening elsewhere.  Cristian makes and excuse to Jen that he needs to go check on his brother.  He runs after Natalie and Jen knows it.  Jessica finally has enough and walks away from Seth.  Seth tells Chad he is going to go to Michigan and Rex overhears him, and cries out to himself, "No, no, no!"  Natalie is outside crying and Cristian tries to consol her.  She asks him to leave her alone.  She tells him she is in love with him.

In Africa

Gordy hints that Joanna died in a horrible way, caused by Troy.  Lindsay asks him how she died and he tells her.  Lindsay wonders how Troy can live with himself.  Lindsay says out loud, "Troy, Troy, I gotch 'ya!"

Somewhere in the South Pacific

Ross tries to get Todd to change his mind too.  He gives Todd a map, food and water.  Todd thanks him and Ross wishes him luck.  They drag the raft to the water.  Tea comes running after him.  Todd misunderstands and thinks Tea is going with him, however, she only came to give him the picture he had of Blair, Starr and Jack.  They say their good-byes and Todd leaves.

At Blair's mansion
Blair finally signs the divorce papers.  She says, "Good-bye Todd!"

Somewhere in the South Pacific
Todd paddles away on the raft all alone.
