One Life to Live Recap for Tuesday, October 1, 2002

Well, Hello folks! Let’s take a look at where we are today! We begin at:

Cristian and Jen’s loft

As Cristian walks in on Jen and Lindsay’s heated argument, he asks what it is that Jen can’t do. Lindsay asks Jen, “Are you going to tell him, or am I?” Chris asks again. Lindsay realizes Jen isn’t going to say anything, so she tells him there is something he has the right to know, and it has something to do with the baby Jen is carrying. Chris asks her, “What about our baby?” Jen is panic-stricken!

At Asa’s Mansion

Nigel informs Asa about Rae’s apparent attraction between her and Hank Gannon. As they discuss it, Rae walks in on the room. Asa walks out and Nigel and Rae continue talking as Asa answers the door. It is Hank.

The Student Union

Jessica confronts Seth about going to Michigan to dig up dirt on Rex. She tells him that it is bad enough that he is going to go dig up dirt on Rex, but he lied to her about it. She tries to tell him that there is nothing to find. Seth tells her about his encounter with Roxy. As they continue to argue, Rex walks in. He pretends to have heard them arguing across campus, and then feigns concern for Jessica.

Lloonfair/Llanfair

Al pulls back from Natalie’s embrace and kiss. He asks her what she is doing. He tells her she is out of her mind. He wonders what is going on with chicks today! She keeps telling Al that there is nothing between her and Cristian. Natalie tells Al that he is never going to get Jen. As they are discussing Jen, Bo walks in. He tells her that he is there to check up on things for Viki. Al leaves as fast as he can get out the door. Bo notices that Natalie is upset and asks her if she is all right. She falls into his arms.

At Asa’s Mansion

Nigel and Rae discuss how she is going to become the complete Mrs. Buchanan. He tells her about filling out a donation form, and selecting something to donate to a charity event. He asks her to fill out the form and leaves the room, closing the door behind him. Out in the foyer, Asa tries to tell Hank that he has called him there to discuss his re-election campaign. Nigel interrupts them with a phony phone call for Asa, and they ask Hank to wait inside. He walks in and he and Rae see each other. They talk about how he found out about her marriage and their last meeting at her house. She admits to Hank that if he had been around, she may not have had the guts to go through with her marriage to Asa. She asks him if there is anyway they can be friends. Outside, Asa is down right jubilant. He tells Nigel it is up to them to get those two in there together!

Lloonfair/Llanfair

Natalie pulls away and apologizes to Bo. She tells him she wishes that her mom were back from Europe. She tells him her mom would tell her what to do. He has her sit down and as he sits beside her, he tells her that she can talk to him. She tells him she does not want to bother him. He figures that it must be guy trouble. He assumes it is between her and Al. He tells her that he believes that Al is hung up on someone else. He tells Natalie that it is not any easier for the guys in these kinds of situations either. He tells her she has to let go. She tells him it will never happen. Bo tells her that if she doesn’t it will drive her crazy, using Al as an example, by examining his behavior with Jen, since he knows about the fire, however, Natalie doesn’t.

Cristian and Jen’s loft

Cristian immediately assumes there is something wrong with the baby. Lindsay tells him it is nothing like that and Jen tells him that her mom is freaked out about her being pregnant. Lindsay tells her that she does not approve of this pregnancy and Lindsay cannot believe her ears, as Jen keeps rambling on about her objections to the pregnancy. Cristian is trying to get involved in their conversation. Lindsay tries to tell him the truth about what is going on, and he does not allow her to speak. She tries to tell him that he cannot raise this baby! He informs them that he not only wants to give this child everything he had when he was growing up, but he is also going to give this baby a home, two parents and a name. He tells Jen he is going to marry her and Jen is thrilled.

The Mill House

Al comes homes only to find Max waiting for him. Al knows he must have a lecture coming and he brings up Jen. Max tells Al that Jen wants him to stay away from her. Al cannot believe that Max went to see her. Al demands to know what he said to her. He asks Max if he said anything about them having sex, and Max tells him he did. As Al stutters and stammers Max tells him that what he feels for Jen is not love it is obsession.

Cristian and Jen’s loft

Jen tells Cristian she accepts. Lindsay continues to barb Jen and throw insults at both of them. Cristian tells her that he is the father of her grandchild and he is going to marry her daughter. Jen asks Cristian to go to the market and get her some milk. After he leaves, Jen and Lindsay continue to argue. Jen finally threatens Lindsay to remain silent, or she will never speak to her again. As they continue to argue, Lindsay tells Jen that even if she keeps silent the truth will come out. She tells Jen that once Al finds out she is pregnant; he will know that it is his baby!

The Student Union

Jessica tells Rex what Seth is doing. Rex wants to know why. Jessica and Seth argue more and Rex tries to play the good guy in all of this mess, but decides to leave them alone. Seth tells her that he is going to find out what Rex is hiding. Jessica informs him that if he goes, he is not to bother looking for her when he comes back. She storms off. Watching from the shadows, Rex smiles as his dirty handiwork has paid off.

At Asa’s Mansion

Hank and Rae talk about their feelings and how he feels about being her friend. She is worried that she hurt Hank by marrying Asa. As they talk, Asa and Nigel plot and plan out in the foyer. Asa goes in and asks Hank to go with him and Nigel comes back in to talk to Rae about her donation. He suggests that she donate a rare bottle of wine. Downstairs in the wine cellar Asa tells Hank to pick out a good bottle of wine while they talk about Hank’s re-election. When that does not work, Asa asks him to pick out some brandy for Bo but Hank tells Asa that Bo is at The Palace having dinner with Gabrielle. Asa is furious. He talks Hank into finding a bottle of brandy anyway and tells Hank he will be right back.

The Mill House

Al tells Max he is not obsessed with Jen. He refuses to listen to Max. He tells Max he is going over to see Jen right away to smooth things over with her, because he opened his big mouth and told Max about them. He storms off and Max follows him.

Cristian and Jen’s loft

Cristian comes back and Lindsay continues to pull Jen’s string and tells Cristian there is still something she has to say. She tells Cristian that all she has ever wanted for Jen to be loved and to have everything she ever wanted. Lindsay leaves. Cristian tells Jen that her mom just wants to see her happy. Jen asks him if he is happy.

At Asa’s Mansion

As Rae and Nigel come down to the wine cellar, they see Hank. As Rae and Hank see one another, Nigel sneaks out and locks the door. Hank and Rae try the door. Rae calls out to Nigel. He tells her that he has to go find the right key to open the door. Rae asks Hank if he has any idea of what the can do while they wait?

The Student Union

Rex runs into Jessica and asks if she is looking for Seth. He tells her that he saw him leave. Jessica thinks he left for Michigan. Rex tells Jessica that maybe Seth isn’t the right guy for her.

Lloonfair/Llanfair

Seth comes barging in the front doors looking for Jessica. Instead, he finds Natalie coming down the stairs dressed to the hilt! She is a knock out! He asks her what she is all dressed up for. She tells him, “What do you think!”

Cristian and Jen’s loft

Jen and Cristian are talking about the baby and their lives together and there is a knock at the door. Jen goes to answer the door thinking it is Lindsay. Cristian walks into the other room. It is Al. Jen asks him, “WHAT are you doing here?” Al tells her that he came over to apologize, and that he is sorry that he told anybody that they made love! Jen tells Al to shut up because Cristian is there!! Cristian walks out of the other room and hears them. (Too late Jen, he already heard you, dear!)
