Goons, goons, everywhere! Will this madness ever come to an end? I am getting dizzy!
"Spiritual" Counseling!
We open up with Mitch Lawrence, (I told you!), leaning over the visitor's registration table. He and the greeting nun engage in some polite small talk about religion, and then he tells her that he is there to see a soul in need of assistance. The nun tells him that there are quite a few of those running around in St. Ann's..(um..NOPE! I won't go there!)
He tells her that he's looking for one in particular...Allison Perkins. The nun gasps, saying that Allison definitely needs assistance. It's anybody's guess why Wackison committed the crimes that she did, says the nun. Mitch gives her that infamous diabolical look, accompanied by that lethal, hypnotizing smile, and says...
"The Lord works in mysterious ways, sister...and so does the Devil."
He leans down to sign the visitor's log, and he is rattled by the sight of Viki's signature a few lines above his designated line. He quickly signs himself in and heads to Allie's padded room. She is on the floor, hypnotically staring out into space. He calls out her name, but she doesn't respond at first. He calls out her name again, with authority, and commands that she rise and face him. It's obvious by her actions that Mitch's previously implanted mind program is still in effect, because she rose to face him as if he were fiddling with a remote control to make her move. She is shocked at first, and then she hugs him. He pushes her away slightly, telling her that he needs to talk to her. He uses the phrase, "Heed the Messenger", and she suddenly turns into a robot. He asks her about the recent visitor she had. She tells him "Viki", and he says yes. He continues to press her for info, asking her to tell him exactly what it was that Viki wanted, and Allison tells him that she wanted to know why Allison switched the babies. Mitch again, repeats, "Heed the Messenger", proceeds to tell her that the next question is very important. He tells her that he needs to know EXACTLY what Allison told Viki. Allison fearfully says that she only said to ask Mitch. Mitch accepts her answer, and re-programs her mind to remember that his name is "Reverend Lazarus", and Mitch Lawrence is dead. In her state of hypnosis, Allison repeats the input several times. Mitch leaves her to her bumbling.
LLANVIEW PD BLUE: THE RE-OPENING!
The case of The Fraternal Twin Switch is in motion, and things are heating up, folks! Viki and Bo have been burning the midnight oil sifting through the heap of the late Dr. Balsam's personal effects.
Viki rises and vents her frustration. They've been at the task all night, and they've been through thousands of things, but nothing has been any help. They have way more questions than answers, she states.
Just as she's complaining, she catches the shocked and apprehensive look on Bo's face, also taking notice of the large yellow file he's holding. She asks him what's wrong? He slowly tells her that he's holding her medical file. Now, she's apprehensive and a little afraid. She voices her fears, and Bo assures her that no matter what'‘s in the file, she has her babies back now, and that's all that matters. With renewed hope and strength, Viki thanks Bo for the encouragement and tackles the medical file. She is horrified at the very first item in the file...It's her prenatal ultrasound, clearly showing a picture of TWO babies!
She freaks out, telling Bo that she never once saw that ultrasound during her OB visits. Again, she tortures herself trying to figure out how she could have delivered twins and not know it. Bo assures her that anyone could have slipped her an injection after she delivered the first baby, which in turn could have erased her memory of the time between deliveries.
Later, Viki is at home with the file, clearly still disturbed by the ultrasound. Jessica enters and asks her what she's doing. Viki is still a bit dazed with her thoughts, so she doesn't answer right away. Jessica glances down and spots the file, and she asks Viki if she found anything in it. Viki says no. Jess leaves a bit later and Viki again explores the file.
As if the ultrasound wasn't shocking enough, she comes across a list of Mitch's cult disciples, and is shocked a second time when she discovers that her doc was on the list as a member. Despite her shock, however, there is some relief, because the mystery of how her doctor and Mitch were connected was solved. Her adrenaline is flowing rapidly now, and she goes through the rest of the disciple list with a vengeance. SURPRISE!! Todd's father, Peter Manning, is also on the list!!
MANNING MADNESS, MANNING MAYHEM!!
Well, if nothing else, you gotta admire Todd's creativity! He can come up with some veeerrry original ways to get information, that's for sure!
Okay, I've made a quip..let's continue.
Todd returns to St. Ann's to re-visit Addie. He has some new questions he wants to ask her about Blair's stunt with Troy. He starts off his visit by making a wisecrack to the greeting nun about the great safety net they provide the patients by making their visitors sign their names, then he hurries past the nun to find Addie.
He and Addie sit, and Todd asks Addie if she's taken her Crazy-B-Gone pills yet? Addie is confused for a second, then catches on and tells him that she has. He cons her for info by telling Addie that Blair needs help, and he wants to help her. Addie pours out the whole story about Blair's seduction plot, and most of that conversation was off-screen.
Flash over to the police station, Blair and Sam are talking about Todd's arrest. Sam once again starts grilling Blair about whether or not she's having doubts about sticking it to Todd. She says that she's debating it, because of the things she overheard Todd saying to the baby. She tells Sam that it touched her because Todd Manning never apologized for anything in his life, and it was kind of shocking, but she also knows that he's dangerous and capable of anything, so she has to be careful.
She tells Sam that she distinctly remembered him saying that he wanted to go and spend time with Jen. Sam replies that he doesn't want to leave Blair alone. She shoos him away by telling him that she's going to be just fine. Go to his daughter.
They part ways and Blair sees Gabrielle entering. She stops Gabby and says that she wants to thank Gabby for telling Bo that Todd called. She acknowledges that Gabby could have kept that info to herself...
Gabby says that she would have, once upon a time.
Gabby then asks Blair if she is at te police station because of the O'Brien crime scene, and Blair tells her that she's there on personal business. She shocks Gabby with the revelation that Todd is back in town and she had to get him arrested for violating the restraining order. She continues to tell Gabby that Todd made bail, but she hopes that he got the message that Blair is serious this time. The women begin to bond somewhat as Blair again thanks her for informing Bo of Todd's call. At that time, Blair's cell phone rings, and Gabby listens with concern as Blair shouts at someone on the other end to stop calling her. Gaby asks her what the call was about, and Blair tells her that The Sun has been covering a story on the mob, and apparently hit too close to home, so she's been receiving death threats.
Gabby is disturbed by the news, and asks Blair if she's told the police about the calls. Blair waves it off, and is about to tell Gabby that she can handle it, but her phone rings again. This time, it's the nun from the sanitarium, informing Blair that Todd is with Addie. Blair rushes off. She arrives just in time to hear part of Todd's interrogation and she blasts him for being so underhanded as to take advantage of a mentally challenged, soft-hearted woman. She threatens to have Todd physically ejected if he doesn't leave right that minute. Todd gets a few snide remarks in before making a hasty exit. Blair asks her mother what Todd wanted from her, and after a long waltz with Addie's diminished capacity, Blair discovers that Todd managed to extract the details of Blair's seduction plot!
THE SUPERBROOM "TWIST"!
Well, folks, this part of the show combines quite a bit of the characters, so bear with me, and try not to get dizzy! Wear your oxygen masks, because the fumes from that dastardly Superbroom are really toxic! Ready? Deep breaths. IIIIIINNNN....OOOUUUTT....
Troy's Loft...
Troy watches as Nora sleeps. His mind is working overtime with thoughts of Lindsay and her threats. (ICK!!) Nora turns over and slowly awakes, smiling as she meets his gaze.
(I still would like to know how the heck THAT is possible? He still looks
EXACTLY like Colin!!)
ANYWAY.....
He presents her with flowers in bed, telling her that it's a "thank-you" present for making me the happiest man in the world. Nora fawns over the gift, and they share a mushy kiss. The phone rings and Nora tries to stop him from answering it, but he tells her that he's on call at the hospital and he has to answer.
(I'll bet he wished he hadn't!)
Loonsey Goon is on the other end. She wishes him a good morning and asks him if he knows what today is. It's the day Nora finds out that he killed his wife! Or maybe tomorrow is the day. Or maybe it's the day after that.
Okay, no more, folks.
Anyway, Troy is pretty ticked off at this point, and Lindsay hangs up after telling him that one way or the other, Nora's going to find out, and Troy is going to be sorry. CUHLICK!!
Troy is visibly upset, which draws concern from Nora. She asks him if it's the woman from the hospital that still has him so rattled, and she takes his silence to mean that it is. She rambles on about him not blaming himself. He's a great doctor, everyone knows that. Yada, yada..
They go about their day, and Troy winds up at Loonsey's loft. Troy tells her that he's had enough of her, and he's going to put a stop to Loonsey's madness right then and there. Lindsay scoffs at the threat at first, but his confidence rattles her a little. He tells her that if she doesn't keep her mouth shut, he's going to see to it personally that she not only misses Jen's wedding, but that Jen hates her for the rest of her natural life!
Nora's Dance with the Devil...
Nora prepares to leave the loft, but is interrupted by a knock on the door. She is not happy to find Todd on the other side, and is even more agitated when he lets himself in, demanding that she accept the position of representing him at a custody hearing.
Nora is laughing at his gall, but it's not with amusement. She tells Todd in no uncertain terms will she represent him. The very idea of him, let alone representing him, revolts her and furthermore, she will not drag Troy into the mess he's created. Todd tries to bait her with several things. He touches on the natural female catty nature by saying that representing him gives her a chance to get back at Blair for trying to seduce Troy. Nora cringes at the memory, but...no dice, dude.
He tries to tempt her with money, no luck there, either. And THEN...He tries to rattle her by attempting to plant seeds of doubt about Troy. What does Nora thinks Troy is doing behind her back? Nora defends her man...(Oh, ick!), saying that she trusts Troy. How can Nora say that? Really? What does she really know about him? As a matter of fact, does Nora even know where he is RIGHT NOW?
Nora waves Todd's immaturity aside, and tells him that there's nothing he can say to convince her to team up with him, so hit the pavement, son! Todd has struck out yet again. Not a good thing, folks!
And now, the finale....
Hey, KC! Are you ready, darling??
THE LOONVIEW TEENS ARE HERE!!
And that sick, twisted little piranha REX is all over the place! Jeez, that creature makes me cringe!
Jessica and Rex engage in small talk. Naturally, Jessica has no idea that with every word he speaks, Rex is seeking information, and he's also scheming by the second! The conversation leads to Rex "innocently" asking her out, (oh, you know, guys, just to hang out?)
Jessica sweetly refuses, telling him that she has a date. A date? Rex asks, With who?
"With me," calls a voice from the doorway. Rex ain't a happy camper when he hears that. He's even a wee bit TICCKED when Seth happily announces that he and Jess have reconciled. BUT, he conceals it.
The two boys put up a front for Jessica's sake. When she leaves, Seth tells him that he knows that Rex knew from the beginning that he wasn't Jessie's brother, and it won't be long before Jess figures him out for the rat that he is. In the meantime, Seth tells him, he won't risk losing Jess by trashing
the garbage man. With that, he leaves Rex to seethe...alone. Rex says to himself, (and to us viewers),
"That won't last too long, Seth. Jessica's going to end up with me!"
(EWWWWWW!!!)
Tune in tomorrow, folks. Until then, you know the drill..
