In the park…

Keri and Antonio are jogging through the park, when she suddenly decides she must go home to shower and get herself ready to go to the university.  They part company.

Carlotta’s Diner

Tea shows up at the diner asking for a cup of coffee and Antonio walks in after his jog in the park with Keri.  They are all hugs and kisses and Tea all of a sudden mentions that she is leaving town right away.  They are startled and ask her why so soon.  She tells them she ran into Todd. Carlotta freaks.  Antonio calms her down. Tea says she knows that she needs to stay away from him, but admits she doesn’t want to. Carlotta almost crawls over the counter and Antonio grabs her to keep her by his side.

At Troy’s apartment…

Troy is reminiscing about his bicycle marathon with Nora.  There is a knock at the door and he is surprised to see Starr there when he opens it.  She tells him she needs a favor in exchange for saving his life.  He tells her anything she wants is fine with him. She asks him if she can live there with him. He is stunned!

Starr tells him that her mom took her and Jack to a hotel without her dad and told her it was going to be fun.  She tells Troy she is not stupid and knows the truth. She is very upset because she wants her parents back together.  She wants to be with both of them.  She asks him what happens if they don’t make up and they never live together again. He talks to Starr about how things aren’t easy and how life does offer its disappointments. He shows her his stamp collection and offers her a sheet of stamps to take home with her. She notices the spider on one of them and she is elated! As they talk she begins to calm down and then he talks her into calling her mom from the car as they leave together.

At Common Grounds…

At the coffee shop, Niki comes into buy muffins so that she can put them in her, “From Viki’s Kitchen” tin, to take to Bo. As the waitress leaves to fill her order, Niki starts to fantasize about her encounter with Bo when she gets there. He is in a very bad black and white movie. He plays the detective having his own fantasy about the dame with nice looking legs. There is a knock on his door. (Bogie and Ingrid their not!) This black and white movie progresses to the point where they are fighting their mutual attraction for one another. He finally tells her that he cannot do this because of his brother and asks her to leave.

Niki wakes up from her fantasy and is dreaming out loud of being free, free, free.  From behind her, she hears a voice asking her what the weather is like on cloud nine? She turns around and it is Rae. Niki plays along and quickly makes her noticeable exit as Nora runs into her as she leaves. Nora asks Rae what that was all about? Rae tells Nora that Viki is obviously running away from something.  Nora tells Rae she knows how that feels and tries to explain to Rae about Troy. She had stopped the two of them from making love because she kept seeing Colin in bed with them. Rae asks her if she if sure it is Colin she is running away from or Troy?

In Las Vegas…

Max wakes up with a major hangover only to find women’s clothing scattered all around. Max looks under the covers and ‘lo and behold he finds Roxy! She tells him she knew she could make him forget his problems with his kid, and she hit the jackpot more than once!

Max is beside himself and jumps up to get dressed. Roxy is all over him and asks him to stop. She flashes him and he almost vomits right then and there! He has no idea what happened between them and as he collects his things to leave he finds a poker chip. He asks her if he gambled last night and she tells him not to worry, she took care of him. There is a knock at their door and she runs to the other room.  Max opens the door to find room service, and the attendant has a bottle of champagne for them.  He pops the cork and congratulates Max for being in the newlywed suite and says he hoped that Max and Mrs. Holden would be very happy.

Max asks him what this all means and looks up to find Roxy flashing a big ‘ol diamond ring on her hand, so he looks at his hand and finds a wedding ring too.  He faints!

Todd’s Mansion…

Todd storms in screaming Blair’s name. He asks if anyone is there. Behind him Sam walks in and says, “I am.”  Todd demands to know where Blair is and blames Sam for everything. Todd goes into full assault and starts hurling accusations at Sam.  Then in a very un-Todd-like manner, Todd stops ranting and pleads for Sam to go to Blair and ask her to forgive him. Sam is speechless.

Sam looks at the painting in the hallway and tells Todd he thought they were happy and they had a chance to make it. Of course Todd says they were until he butted in.  Todd once again wants to know where Blair is and Sam tells him not only will he not tell him where she is, but Sam also tells Todd that he is going to do everything to keep Todd away from her.

At Common Grounds…

As Nora and Rae go to sit down to talk, Megan (Jessica Tuck), Viki’s daughter who died years ago is on her cell phone and says, “Awe, you wouldn't’ t believe what’s going on here!” (Man, poor Matthew, I tell ‘ya!  They are everywhere!)

Nora asks Rae how she could run away from Troy. Rae asks her how she could get so close to Troy in the first place and all Nora can do is sing him praises. Nora tells her the differences between Colin and Troy. Nora says starting out with someone new is terrifying. Rae says at least she has an excuse and her excuse is Colin. Nora tells her Colin wasn’t an excuse. Rae explains that Troy is far different than any other man in Nora’s life, like Hank, Bo, and Sam, and maybe Colin isn’t the one in her way, but rather she is. Rae tells her to listen to her heart and she will know if it is right or not.  The next time she sees Troy, Rae tells her to listen to her heart.

At the diner…

Tea tells Carlotta and Antonio that she ran into Todd last night and he looked so devastated and she knew something was wrong. They both warn her again to stay away from him. Sam comes in with Matthew. Tea notices that Sam seems distressed and she asks him if it has to do with Todd. Sam refuses to talk to her about it because he will not let her get sucked back in by Todd.

At Bo’s apartment…

Gabrielle is packed and ready to leave as Bo walks in and catches her. She says she thought she’d leave first so that he wouldn’t have to throw her out. She tells him she regrets lying to him. He asks her is she always regrets lying afterwards. She is honest and tells him she regrets getting caught. She tells him he was right about Todd. Bo asks Gabrielle why she didn’t just tell him what was going on? Of course, she has all of the normal excuses, Asa, Al, not having anyone or anything. Bo admits his reasons for having her stay there was also to get back at Asa. He admits to her that everyone tried to warn him about her and he wouldn’t listen.  There’s a knock on his door!  Gabrielle thinking it was her taxi, answers the door putting a damper on Niki’s plans for the evening.

Gabrielle tells Niki she was just leaving. Niki says good as Bo tries to stop her and asks her to stay. Niki covers her disappointment and offers Bo the muffins she “made” for him to thank him for his help with Ben. Bo thanks her and tells her that he and Gabrielle will both enjoy them! Niki leaves in a huff and calls Asa in the hallway. She tells him she must see him immediately about Bo!

Inside, Gabrielle and Bo begin to bond even more when she asks about Melanie. He tells her what happened and realizes Melanie was right about him and his high standards in which he holds people to. He asks Gabrielle to stay and she agrees.

In the park…

As Troy and Starr await Blair’s arrival they talk more about life and the disappointments they all experience and while they are deep in conversation Nora sees them and starts to walk towards them. He sends Starr off as they see Blair and she runs in excitement to show Blair what Troy had given her. Then he sees Nora. He turns to leave and she calls out to him and asks him to wait. He turns around and she kisses him! (Yep, she kisses him in a manner that even Niki would be proud of!)

At Common Grounds…

Niki arrives to find Asa with Renee. Niki is adamant about Asa doing something about Bo and Gabrielle. She tells Asa that Bo asked Gabrielle to stay with him anyway, fully aware of her role in Todd’s latest escapade. She wants Asa to do something right now! Asa wants to know why all of a sudden she is so interested in Bo? Renee agrees with Niki/Viki however, and Asa finally gives in and walks over to Rae and asks for her help!

Todd’s Mansion…

Todd calls Blair on his cell phone.  She does not answer.  He leaves a message, begging and pleading for her to come home as soon as she gets the message. He tells her that he will make everything up to her.  He begins to practice how he is going to act and what he is going to say.  The sincere role doesn’t pan out, so he decides to say he is a rat! (Duh!) The doorbell rings. He runs to the door thinking it is Blair…why would she ring the doorbell, Todd? He answers the door and Tea is standing there...

Roxy in bed wrapped in the covers says to Max: Hey! Maxie you don’t have to say you’re sorry because we make beautiful music together, sheet music that is!!!
