Bo, Alex and Gabby

Gabby is shocked to see Alex still in Llanview and wonders why she didn’t get on the plane to Alaska.  Alex tells her that she realized her destiny is in Llanview and it is Bo.  Gabby is surprised to hear this and tries to convince Alex that Bo is not the man for her.  Alex says she sees right through Gabby and believes that she, too, wants Bo for more than a roommate.

Just then Bo walks in and looks sorry to see Alex there.  She tells him that she realizes that she belongs in Llanview and she wants to start up her relationship with him again. He asks here where…the prison, the police station?  She says that she means their personal relationship.  He lets her down easy and convinces her that he’s not at all interested in a relationship with her and she accepts it, telling him as she leaves that maybe someday in the future the time will be right for them.

Bo and Gabby are left alone and he wants an explanation about her relationship with Todd.  She decides to finally tell him everything.  She tells him it’s about blackmail and he wants to know how Todd is blackmailing her.  He says he’ll go get a warrant and arrest him right away.  Gabby tells him he’s got it all wrong and that she was the one blackmailing Todd.  She proceeds to tell him everything…how she was left with nothing when Asa threw her out…how she needed some way to get involved with Llanview society so she could make some contacts to get her life back…how she stole the dress so she could look presentable to go to the Gallery party and make contacts.  She told him that the only contact she made was David Vickers and Bo said, “oh no.”  The she told him that as luck would have it, she was down at the docks, thinking about jumping, when she overheard Todd’s conversation with Vickers about Jack really being Blair’s baby.  She tells him she was desperate and she used this information, which just fell into her lap, to blackmail Todd.  Bo just shakes his head and Gabby says there’s more.  She tells him about Jack being sick and about participating in all the lies Todd told Blair to keep her from finding out about Jack.  She tells Bo she knows what she did was wrong, but she is desperate not to lose his friendship.  He just says he needs to get out of there and walks out.

Natalie and Al at the airport

Natalie decides she’s going to Michigan to help Jess and Seth find Rex.  She calls Seth on his cell phone and says she’s coming and he tells her not to bother because they found Aunt Corrine but she was no help.  He tells Natalie that Corrine says she sent Rex to school in Europe and she won’t tell them where he is.  Natalie is mad and disappointed but decides to cancel her trip.  Then as she’s leaving the airport she runs into Al checking out the departure list.  He lies and says he’s waiting for a friend to arrive from Canada and Natalie points out the flight to Vegas and tells him she knows he’s going after Jen and Cris. He insists that he’s not, and Natalie says she’s going to hang around to meet his friend from Canada.  A young woman gets off the plane and he runs up to her pretending she’s his friend Amy and he agrees to get her to pretend she’s his friend. He introduces her to Natalie, but Natalie sees her initials on her luggage and knows Al is lying.  She plays along, then pretends to leave and sees Al thank the girl and head for the flight to Vegas.

Max is also looking for Al and finds out that Al never had the appointment at the hospital that he said he did.  He calls the credit card company and pretends to be Al and finds out that Al just charged a plane ticket.

Jessica, Corrine and Rex

Jessica sees Rex come home and approaches him.  He wonders who she is and then says he knows who she is and doesn’t want anything to do with her.  Jess doesn’t understand. Rex tells her that he knows Aunt Corrine hired a tutor for him and he thinks Jess is the tutor.  He tells her he doesn’t need her and then Corrine comes outside.  Rex goes in the house but the door remains ajar and Corrine thanks Jess for not telling Rex who she really is. Rex can hear the whole conversation.  Jess tells Corrine that she shouldn’t lie to Rex and that she just wants to get to know him and he should know his sister…or sisters.  Corrine says she doesn’t want him to be a part of that world with all the Buchanan money and Roxy.  Jess tells her Roxy is not involved at all and Corrine doesn’t believe it.  Jess asks her why she didn’t take Natalie when she took Rex and Corrine doesn’t answer – she just changes the subject.  Corrine asks Jess if she had the choice, would she rather have had her old life and never have known about what happened to her as a baby.  Jess begins to understand and decides to leave…she realizes she would have rather never known the secret.

Back in the house, Rex is getting ready to go somewhere.  Corrine wonders what he’s doing and he says he’s headed to Llanview to meet his family and get to know his two rich sisters and relatives. 

Cris and Jen

Cris and Jen are happily relaxing in their hotel room in Vegas and Cris has a surprise for her.  He gives her an envelope with some drawings of her.  She thinks he did them and wonders if his hand is better…he says that the pictures were computer generated, and that’s what he was doing when he was separated from her.  She says she doesn’t care if his hand isn’t better – she loves the pictures. They make love and are very happy.

Todd, Sam, Blair, Alex

Sam comes back into the lounge and finds Blair gone.  He doesn’t believe Todd when he explains where she is.  Sam tries to call Blair but gets now answer.  Todd tells him that Blair now knows the truth and his marriage is over thanks to Sam.  Sam tells him he ruined his marriage all on his own.  Sam had overheard Todd on the phone and believes he’s leaving town.  Todd says he’s going far away and Sam says he better not be thinking about taking the kids away.  Todd says he’s not.

Blair is at the airport confronted by Alex.  Starr comes by and hears Blair say Alex’s name and says she’s the bone marrow lady.  Blair is confused and wonders what Starr knows.  She reminds Starr that they have no secrets any more and Starr tells her that Todd made her promise not to tell.  Starr gets the nanny to take Starr and Jack aside and Blair confronts Alex.  She says she’s grateful that Alex saves Starr but no way could she have saved Jack since he’s adopted and Alex was about to tell Blair the truth when she remembered Todd’s threat to put Jeb on her tail again.  Alex decides to catch her plane and Blair realizes that Alex was lying when Alex grabs her hip in pain and says it’s just a muscle spasm.

Blair calls Sam on his cell phone and tells him to meet her at the house and that it’s urgent.  The she tells the nanny to take the kids upstairs because she needs to be alone. They go upstairs and Blair is alone, staring at the portrait of she, Todd and the kids and she starts to see the resemblance between Jack and Starr and says, “Oh, no.”
