Troy and Nora

Troy and Nora get back to her house with Troy carrying her on his back.  She is sore from the 50-mile bike ride and he is telling her how proud he is of her and how much fun it was because she was there.  She is exhausted and jokes about finishing an hour and a half behind everyone else and he says she was fun.  He asks where she hurts and she starts pointed to places, her wrist, shoulder, neck, all of which he kisses…then they kiss on the lips and Troy’s beeper goes off.  He is needed at the hospital.  Nora tells him to go and she will order food for when he gets back. 

While Nora is ordering the food, Sam shows up at the house.  He still has it in his mind that Alex is Jack’s birth mother and asks Nora what she knows about Alex.  Nora is sorry to hear that Alex hasn’t left town yet and Sam asks her when was the last time she saw Alex before this time.  Nora says it was at Asa’s will reading when he faked his death. Sam remembers that was November and asks Nora if Alex looked pregnant.  Nora laughs and says that Alex would never do that to her figure.  Sam is confused and Nora tells him there was one good think Alex did.  She saved Blair and Todd’s child.  She tells Sam that he wouldn’t remember that because it was before he came to town and Sam is really confused. He tells Nora that he was in town way before Jack was born and Nora tells him that she’s not talking about Jack.  She tells him that Alex saved Starr’s life from aplastic anemia.  Sam is shocked and tells Nora that’s what Jack had.

At the hospital

Blair is very mad at Todd for not telling her Jack was sick.  Sam tells her that now he’s fine and Todd says that’s all that matters.  Todd wants Blair to drop the questioning and she won’t.  The doctor comes by and says that Jack is doing well. Blair asks him what was wrong with Jack and he says since Jack is fine it wouldn’t hurt to tell her. Todd insists that Jack has an iron deficiency and Sam says you don’t need a bone marrow transplant for an iron deficiency.  Blair is shocked that Jack needed a transplant and finally Todd has to tell her what was wrong with Jack.  She doesn’t understand how that could be since Starr and Jack have a different make-up and it is such a rare disease.  She insists that Todd tell her what’s going on and he tells her that the doctors told him it was just a freak thing.  She tells Todd that she realizes it must have been a burden for him to go through this alone.  Then she asks who the donor was.  She says she knows Alex donated for Starr, but she couldn’t be a match for Jack.  She wants to thank the donor and Todd doesn’t want her to.

Meanwhile, Troy is in his office and Alex drops by to see him. She tells him that she’s got a date for drinks with Sam Rappaport that night and maybe he and Nora would like to double date.  Troy says that’s not such a good idea and Alex agrees, saying that Nora can be jealous.  Alex questions Troy about how financially well off Sam is and is happy to find out that he is truly a successful lawyer.  Troy gets her to leave and she goes in search of a full-length mirror so she can make sure she looks her best.  She goes back to the dressing room and Blair is about to go in and thank her when Todd realizes Alex is in there and he refuses to let Blair go in.

Lindsay and the inmates

Lindsay is working her little fingers off, folding laundry, when Tillie and the others come in and tell her they are taking the rest of the day off and start throwing more laundry at her to take care of.  She tells Tillie she’s not doing anything extra for her and Tillie gets furious that Lindsay would defy her.  Tillie grabs a towel and starts choking Lindsay and then the guard comes in and orders Tillie to one week in “the hole.”  Tillie vows to get Lindsay for that.  All the women leave and the guard tells Lindsay that she better find a way to get along in there.  Lindsay says she’ll never find a way to get along with Tillie and that she’ll probably die first.  The guard tells her that she needs to find a reason to survive in prison.  Lindsay says she has no reason inside the prison.  The guard tells her that she’d better find a reason outside and hands her a cell phone.  Lindsay is confused and the guard tells her she can call someone, anyone who can give her a reason to live through her sentence. 

Troy is in his office and the phone rings.  He thinks it’s Nora and says he’s on his way and Lindsay tells him it’s not Nora and that she is going to make he and Nora pay for what they did to her if it’s the last thing she ever does.

Bo and Gabby

Bo insists that Gabrielle tell him what she’s involved with as far as Todd goes and she won’t tell him.  He tells her that if she doesn’t come clean with him, he’s going to end their friendship and she has to move out of his house.  She isn’t happy about it, but she tells him she can’t give him an explanation because it would cost her too much.  She refuses to tell Bo and he leaves, telling her she can’t trust him so there is no friendship.

As she’s on her way to the hospital to see Todd, Gabrielle runs into Max who asks her to help him with Al.  He tells her he is renting the Millhouse and wants to move in there with Al…and he wants her to help him convince Al to do it.  Gabrielle is impressed with Max doing this and agrees to help him.

Ben, Niki, Natalie, Jess and Roxy

Ben walks in as Natalie is accusing Niki of hitting on Chad.  Niki look at her in a shocked way and then at Ben.  Ben tells Natalie that he thinks everyone is under too much stress these days and Natalie asks him if that’s an excuse for Niki’s behavior.  He asks to speak to her mother alone and Natalie leaves the room.  Ben tells Niki that he realizes that what’s going on inside her is so much stress and it would be too much for anyone….between Natalie and finding a woman in his bed.  She goes along with his line of thinking and he tells her that he’s been to the jail and that he spoke to Allison. He believes she was the one who hired Jordan to break them up but he hugs her and tells her that will never happen…that as long as he lives, she will be his.  Niki makes a disgusted face behind Ben’s back.

In the foyer, Natalie answers the door and it’s Roxy.  Roxy is very angry that Natalie told Jess about her brother, Rex.  Natalie says that Jess deserved to know and asks Roxy why she’s there.  She says she came to collect what Viki owes her.  They start to argue and Jess comes out from the kitchen and gets between Roxy and Natalie, telling Roxy to leave Natalie alone.  Roxy tries to kiss up to Jess, but Jess isn’t buying it.  She gives Roxy some money and tells her to buy a plane ticket and go far away.  Roxy is about to argue with her but Bo comes in and she thinks better of it and leaves.  Bo says he’s looking for Viki and he heads for the library.

Jess and Natalie are sitting on the steps talking and Natalie thanks Jess for standing up for her against Roxy.  Jess tells her it was nothing and that she hates the way Roxy treats her.  She asks Natalie again to come with she and Seth to find Rex and Natalie again declines, telling Jess to be careful because she should remember what happened when she went looking for her birth mother.

Bo asks Ben and Viki how is Llanview’s happiest couple and Ben says they’re happy.  He says he’d like to stay, but he has rounds to do at the hospital and has to leave.  Bo stays and talks to Niki, confiding in her about Gabby and asking what she thinks.  Niki tells him she thinks Gabby is a horrible and dangerous woman and Bo says he was starting to like her.  He doesn’t want to hear what Niki is saying, but he knows she’s probably right.  He realizes he was right about Gabby and then Niki tells him that how she needs to confide in him.  Bo says she can talk to him about anything and he puts his hand on her shoulder, which Niki likes.  She is acting completely like Viki and tells Bo that things are not good and that she and Ben are not getting along.
