Llanview Jail

Ben pays Allison a visit. At first he tries to use his Dave persona to get info out of Allison, but when she calls him on his game, he asks her point blank if she hired someone to break up his marriage to Viki. Allison is pleased to hear that Viki and Ben are having trouble but Ben realizes she isn’t behind the trouble with Jordan.

Llanfair

Jessica corners Natalie and demands to know who Rex is and why Roxy won’t discuss him. Natalie asks Jessica to let it go but finally admits that Rex is her brother. He was taken away by ‘Aunt Corrine’ when Natalie was young. She has flashbacks to when Rex went away and she was left behind with Roxy. Natalie lost track of Rex after he moved to Michigan. Rex is dead as far as Natalie is concerned. Jessica wants to go find him.

Niki decides the best way to get rid of Ben is to have an affair. Roxy calls and wants Viki to thank her (read: cash) for helping the police capture Allison. ‘Viki’ agrees to meet Roxy at the coffee shop. Niki goes back to her daydreams about cheating on Ben. She imagines Ben ‘catching’ her with Seth, Chad, Cris and Asa. None of those scenarios seem to be believable. Niki will have to think of someone she can ‘sleep’ with who would make Ben mad enough to ask for a divorce. But first she has to get rid of Jessica and Natalie so she doesn’t have to deal with them on a daily basis. Jessica comes in and tells her mother about Rex. She thinks she should find him and ‘Viki’ encourages her to go.

Natalie doesn’t want to go with Jessica to search for Rex. She goes to talk to ‘Viki’ about her brother. Niki is anxious to get rid of her so she berates Natalie for thinking only of herself and not wanting to locate her brother. Natalie is stunned by ‘Viki’s’ outburst. She is near tears and asks her mother why she hates her so much. She accuses her mother of hitting on Chad – just as Ben walks in…

Coffee Shop

Roxy tries to convince Max to get back into gambling. Max tries to politely tell her to get lost. Roxy doesn’t take the hint and he finally storms out in search of his realtor. Roxy gets tired of waiting and decides to go pay Viki a visit in person. 

Todd’s Office

Bo asks why Gabrielle is in such a rush to go warn Todd. Gabrielle tries to dance around the question but Bo refuses to let her off the hook. She tells him that Todd had a problem involving one of his kids and Gabrielle helped him out. Bo grills Gabrielle again about her job with Todd. He reminds her that he does not like being lied to. Gabrielle defends her job – it’s all she really has at the moment. Bo sympathizes about Al’s aborted wedding.

Gabrielle is about to leave when Blair calls, demanding to know where Todd is. Gabrielle plays dumb and Bo is annoyed to discover that Gabrielle is lying for Todd. He confronts her just as Asa storms in and tells Bo about the ‘quack’ he found at Bo’s apartment. Gabrielle says the doctor was there to consult about Al. Bo defends her right to invite anyone she chooses into the apartment. Asa warns Bo that if he isn’t careful, he’s going to end up with another liar like Lindsay. Bo asks him to leave. Gabrielle knows Bo doesn’t want to discuss Lindsay but Bo is equally determined not to make friends with another woman who will lie to him. Gabrielle tells Bo that the doctor was in the garret for Todd. Bo issues an ultimatum – tell him the truth or move out of his home.

Todd & Blair’s Mansion

Blair and Starr arrive home and Blair immediately questions the nanny about Jack’s whereabouts. The nanny thought Todd and Jack were in Texas. Blair is worried and Starr tries to reassure her by telling her that Jack will be fine. How does she know this? Blair asks. Starr tells her mother about her conversation with Todd. Blair thinks Todd is trying to protect her from knowing that Jack is sick again. She is now even more worried and rushes off to the hospital to find Todd and Jack.

Llanview Hospital

Sam observes Todd paying off Alex. Alex believes Sam is a reporter and offers to give him the entire story of how she donated bone marrow to save Jack. Todd tells Alex to get lost but she vows to come back and give Sam all the details he needs for his ‘story.’ Todd tries to convince Sam that Alex is nuts but Sam doesn’t buy his story. 

Sam confronts Todd with the evidence that Nellie is not Jack’s biological mother. Todd says Nellie is mentally unbalanced – and so is Alex. Alex returns and tells Sam about saving Jack. Sam jumps to the conclusion that Alex is Jack’s biological mother. Todd doesn’t dissuade him of this notion. Sam wants to see the adoption papers – Alex doesn’t like forms, Todd says. He didn’t tell Blair that Alex was the mother because Blair hates Alex and Todd had enough trouble convincing Blair to take Jack.

Sam wants to know who Jack’s father is. Todd says it doesn’t matter who the father of the baby is. Sam wants to know why Todd wouldn’t tell Blair that the baby is sick – just as Blair appears and overhears their conversation. She demands to know what is wrong with her son.

Line of the Day

Todd (about Alex): You don’t know her Sam, she’s crazy. She’s so crazy she married Asa – twice.
