At the hospital

Viki is in Ben’s room.  He’s well enough to go home today.  He wakes up and she starts to fawn all over him asking him how he is and if he needs some more pain medication.  He says he’s ok and she tells him she’s going home to get things ready for him. He tells her not to fuss…all he needs is cold beer and ESPN.  She kisses him on the forehead and he tells her to hurry back.

In the hallway, she is met by Bo.  She asks him how the investigation is going and once again she pushes her theory about Natalie being in the window before and after Ben’s fall.  Bo tells her he’s investigating everyone and then he realizes he’s never questioned her and asks here where she was when Ben fell out the window.  She seems shocked that she’s being questioned but Bo says it’s just routine since he’s questioned everyone else who was involved with Ben.  She calms down and agrees to answer his questions.  He asks her where she was that day and she tells him she was at the nursery buying flowers.  He asks if she can prove it and she says that she called Jessie from there and asked her to look up at the house to see if she needed any new flowers…and that’s when Jessie saw Natalie in the window before Ben’s fall.  Bo asks her if anyone saw her at the nursery and she says no at first, and then says that Roxy saw her there.  She tells Bo what an awful person she thinks Roxy is.

Bo doesn’t have any more questions for her right now, and Niki is leaving when Hank comes over to Bo.  Niki is hanging around to hear their conversation but Bo waits until she’s gone.  Hank has a list of all the calls Ben made on his cell phone that day and it shows that Ben called Natalie on his phone before he went upstairs.  Hank wonders…If Natalie was in the bedroom with Ben why was he calling her on the phone?  This is the first piece of evidence that shows Natalie didn’t really do it.

Al and Max

Al comes home to change his shirt and go back out. He’s looking for Jen.  Max confronts him and says he knows Al is trying to get Jen back.  Al says he just came home for a clean shirt and that Max and his worrying mother, Gabrielle, should stay out of his business.  He swears he’s going to get Jen back.

Roxy

Roxy is at the beauty salon getting her makeover…cucumber slices on her eyes and everything.  She gets a call from Niki, who reminds her that she “saw her” at the nursery the day Ben went out the window.  Roxy forgets at first, thinking she was supposed to say she saw her at the nursery “school” and Niki corrects her so she’s got it right in case Bo questions Roxy.

Roxy heads home and can’t wait to show Max her makeover.  She fantasizes that he thinks she’s gorgeous.  She gets home and Max hardly pays attention, then he looks up and sees her.  She’s in a loud, green sequined evening dress and her hair is piled high on her head, just a different style.  She can’t believe that Max doesn’t love it.  He doesn’t realize it’s a makeover, so to make her feel better, he says it’s very nice.  When she leaves the room, he says to himself, “That’s a makeover?”

At Cris and Jen’s place

Natalie comes by to see Cris not knowing that Jen would be there and Cris would not.  Jen is furious and wants to know the secret Nat and Cris have.  She says Nat isn’t leaving until she tells her. Natalie is not talking and Jen starts saying that she knows Nat is trying to steal Cris from her. Nat says it’s not like that and Jen keeps getting madder.  She accused Nat of trying to make her look crazy to Cris so he’ll leave her and turn to Natalie.  Natalie says that’s ridiculous and Jen gets madder.  Natalie wants to leave and Jen won’t let her.  They start fighting and Al walks in…Natalie runs out.  Al shows up in the doorway and sees what’s going on.  He tells Jen he can’t believe they were fighting and Jen breaks down and cries to Al about Natalie going after Cris and Cris not telling her what’s going on.  Al is more than happy to console her and she falls into his arms.

Cris, Rex and Niki

Cris is at Llanfair looking for Natalie.  Rex comes in and doesn’t know where Natalie is.  He questions Cris about his concern for Nat and Cris says they’re good friends.  Rex asks him if he kisses all his friends.  Cris tells him that was nothing and Natalie just needed someone that night.  Rex understands that Cris really cares about Nat.  They start talking about what happened to Ben and Rex tells Cris that Dr. Davidson wanted to talk to him that day about Mrs. Davidson.  Cris asks him what Dr. Davidson wanted to talk to him about and Niki walks in.  Rex excuses himself right away and Niki starts giving it to Cris about butting into their family business.  Now Cris really thinks she’s being strange.  She brings up the fact that it was his fault for fighting with Will that made Jessie lose her baby.  She tells him to stay out of their business and then he leaves.  Rex comes back into the library and runs into Niki.  He tries to leave right away but she doesn’t let him.  She lets him have it the same way she did to Cris and Rex doesn’t know what to think.

Allison, Lindsay, RJ, Tillie

Lindsay is crying because the vent that leads to the tunnel is locked.  Allison lets her go on for a while and then tells her to shut up.  Lindsay is in despair about spending 28 years in jail, if she lives that long….then Allison tells her there is another way out and takes Lindsay to the laundry room to show it to her.

Meanwhile, Tillie is on the phone with RJ, who gives her orders to kill Lindsay.  She says she’ll do it but it will take her a couple of weeks to get it organized.  RJ says NO…it has to be done today and if she can’t do it, he’ll find someone else who will.  Tillie asks why it has to be done today and RJ tells her it’s none of her business…just get the job done.

All the women are in the laundry room.  Lindsay is folding towels thinking to herself that she’ll keep busy until Allison comes for her and they’re ready to break out.  Tillie quietly gets all the women to leave and it’s just she and Lindsay.  Lindsay doesn’t even realize everyone else has left.  All of a sudden Tillie cuts the lights and it’s just Tillie and Lindsay.  Lindsay wonders about the power going out again.
