The Break Bar

Chad calls RJ to alert him to the fact that Antonio is in Keri’s office. RJ says he will handle the situation.

Keri’s Office

Keri is remembering her last conversation with Antonio when he stops by to ask her why she didn’t return his phone call (RJ erased it). Keri admits she may have erased the message by accident. Antonio wants to know where he stands with her. He wants to continue to see Keri. She tells him that Carlotta told her to leave the hospital. Antonio apologizes for his mother’s words and reminds her that his mother does not speak for him.

Keri and Antonio are kissing when RJ shows up. RJ pretends he came by to invite her to the grand opening of his club. RJ taunts Antonio about the citations his club received, courtesy of Antonio. Antonio tells him to back off but RJ hints about the missing message.

Antonio accuses RJ of erasing the message he left on Keri’s cell phone. RJ denies it and Antonio goes at him. Keri steps between them and RJ volunteers to leave. Keri admits that RJ is a problem and they need to figure out how to solve it. Keri asks him about the club and Antonio admits he was being ‘vigilant.’ Keri comes to the conclusion that Antonio can’t handle the fact that RJ is her father.

Todd & Blair’s Mansion

Todd has a nightmare that ‘little Todd’ has returned to tell Blair the truth about Jack. ‘Todd’ takes Todd downstairs where he is confronted by Paloma – who now speaks perfect English. The nuns show up to haunt him as well and then David Vickers makes an appearance. David promises to tell the truth this time around. He tells the ‘troops’ it’s time to go upstairs to tell Blair. Todd rushes to stop them. He goes back upstairs and climbs back into bed with his family. David, Paloma and the others ‘appear’ to Blair and tell her the truth about Jack. Todd wakes from his dream and is relieved that ‘everything is fine.’

Airplane

David Vickers is aboard an inbound flight…

Llanview Hospital

Jen goes to visit Al, hoping he is better since she last saw him. She doesn’t think she should tell Al that she isn’t pregnant.

Meantime, Natalie is in Al’s room and has told Al that Jen isn’t pregnant. When Jen enters, Al demands to know the truth. Natalie apologizes for spilling the beans – she didn’t know that Al didn’t know there was no baby. Natalie leaves.

Cris runs into Natalie outside Al’s room. He wants to know why she is at the hospital. She confesses that she told Al the truth – and Gabrielle overhears. Gabrielle lashes out at Natalie for being cruel to her son. Cris defends Natalie and stops Gabrielle from entering Al’s room – Jen and Al need to be alone.

Al thinks that Natalie was lying to him. He wants Jen to tell him the truth. Jen tells Al that she was never really pregnant. Al is crushed and asks Jen to leave him alone. Jen apologizes for the mistake. Al laments the loss of the phantom baby and says he doesn’t have a family anymore. Jen tries to make him see that they will always have a connection. Al tells her he wants more than just friendship from her.

Gabrielle comes into the room and Al blasts her for keeping the truth from him and tells her to leave. And he wants Jen to leave too. Jen refuses – she has something important to tell him. Al doesn’t want pity from Jen but she insists it’s not pity – she will always be there for him, baby or no baby. Cris overhears Jen’s pronouncement.

Allison is hiding outside the sunroom while Roxy waits for Jessica. When Jessica happens upon her, she pretends to be sick. Jessica is concerned, but Roxy says she is fine. Jessica leaves to get information on Al’s condition. Allison congratulates Roxy on her performance and tells her to be patient. Allison coaches Roxy on how to be sympathetic to Jessica. Roxy says she only understands scams and she wants to take Jessica for every cent she can get.

Jessica comes back and Roxy continues her act but when she goofs on the name of her sick friend, Jessica is suspicious. Roxy covers and Jessica leaves to find Larry. Roxy gloats to Allison that she is putting on a brilliant performance. Allison tells Roxy that she is going to require a lot of expensive medical treatment for her ‘condition.’

Llanfair

Viki finds the flowers Seth sent to Jessica – in a heap on the table. When Seth sees the flowers, he asks what happened. Viki says Jessica didn’t like them. Seth doesn’t believe Jessica would destroy the flowers even if she didn’t want them. Viki and Seth deduce that it was probably Natalie who wrecked the flowers. Seth doesn’t want to hurt Natalie but he doesn’t see how he can be with Jessica and not hurt Natalie.

Seth confronts Natalie when she returns to the mansion – when will she realize that he doesn’t love her anymore?

Line of the Day

Viki (to Seth): That is what we in the newspaper business call a factoid: presuming something to be true just because it is generally assumed to be.
