Blair/Jack/Starr/Todd/Sam:  The Green Eyed Monster!!

At Dorian’s mansion, Blair is feeding Jack in the living room.  Starr desperately wants attention from her mother, but Blair doesn’t have time because of the baby.  Blair is talking baby talk to Jack as Starr looks on in disgust.  Starr is beginning to be extremely jealous of the baby and wonders why she wanted a baby in the house to begin with.

In the foyer, Sam discusses the baby’s adoption with Todd.  Sam tells Todd he knows the adoption and Paloma are connected in some way.  Todd tells Sam that Paloma was Blair’s midwife and he blames her for their baby’s death.  Paloma has been calling because she wants Blair’s forgiveness, according to Todd.  Blair comes into the foyer to see what Todd and Sam are talking about.  Blair does not want to relive the baby’s death with Paloma.  Blair tells both Sam and Todd how happy she is now that she has Jack.  Blair leaves to put the baby to bed.  Sam is impressed with Todd and how is he handling things with Blair and the baby.  Sam leaves.  Starr comes into the foyer and tries to get attention from Todd.  However, Todd is going to put a toy together for the baby.  Starr daydreams (in animation) how her parents totally ignore Starr and lavish Jack with love and attention.  Starr vows to fix this.  Todd gets a call from the police officer in Mexico telling him that Paloma has been arrested and will not cause him any more trouble.  Starr once again tries to get Todd to play a game with her, but Todd is still too busy.  Starr, feeling rejected, calls to have Jacks “real” mother come and get the baby.

Gabrielle/Renee/Viki/Ben:  Help Wanted??

At the Palace Restaurant, Gabrielle is filling out an employment application.  Gabrielle tells Renee she would be an excellent party planner for the hotel.  Renee absolutely does not want Gabrielle anywhere around her hotel.  Renee realizes Bo wants Gabrielle to get a job in order for her to stay with him. 

Over dinner, Ben and Viki discuss Todd and his family.  Viki tells Ben she wants to legally adopt Jessica.  Gabrielle comes to their table to talk to Viki.  Ben leaves to find Renee.  Gabrielle asks to be Viki’s secretary (the job previously held by Natalie).  Viki laughs in her face.  How about a job at the Banner?  Again, more laughter.  Gabrielle takes Ben aside and asks him if she can be a decorator for The Crossroads.  After turning Gabrielle down, Ben returns to Viki.  Viki promises to talk to Clint about the adoption of Jessica before they mention it to Jessica herself.  Ben and Viki leave the restaurant.

Troy/Nora:  The Sins of the Brother!!

Nora brings incorporation forms for Troy to sign to his office.  Troy wants to discuss her seeing Lindsey at Troy’s apartment.  Nora, however, is not interested and is very curt and businesslike.  Nora has now realized the lengths Troy will go to get the goods on Lindsey.  Troy tells Nora not to worry, but Nora is disturbed that Troy is doing this for her and she is not comfortable with that.  What does Troy want from Nora?  Troy claims he wants nothing.  Nora reinforces the fact she is with Sam.  Troy claims he needs to do this for himself; to make the things that Colin did right again.  Nora continues to tell him this is the wrong thing to do.  If he continues on this quest, Nora does not want to know anything about it.  Nora leaves as Troy vows to get the truth out of Lindsey and begins reading about truth serum.  Troy wants to try out a new truth serum on a volunteer and in walks Gabrielle.

Lindsey/Jen:  No Baby!!

While still at the hospital, Jen finds out she is not pregnant.  She just found out she has started her period.  How did it happen she thought she could be pregnant?  Lindsey tries to tell her she must have had a miscarriage after Jen realizes most home pregnancy tests may have more false negatives than false positives.  Jen begins putting two and two together and accuses her mother of changing the test results.  Why would Lindsey do that?  Lindsey claims she only want Jen to be happy, even if it is with Cristian.  But, Lindsey asks, can Cristian forgive Jen for sleeping with Al?

Cristian/Al:  The Confrontation!!

At the quarry, Cris arrives threatening Al.   They argue as Cristian reveals Jen is indeed pregnant and Al is the father.  Cristian accuses Al of taking advantage of Jen when he broke up with her.  Al claims he is glad to be having a baby.  They both argue over who cares for Jen the most.  Al made Jen feel good about herself and now they have the gift of a baby.  Cristian is undeserving of her and Al vows to support Jen with any decision she makes regarding her pregnancy.  When Al mentions marrying Jen, Cristian punches him in the jaw.  Jen arrives as Cristian again punches Al.

Sam/Nora:  Romance!!

Sam arrives home to find Nora in a negligee with a fire in the fireplace.  They passionately kiss.

Comic Relief:

Blair:  “Now that we have Jack, we’re gonna have to start planning our little special events, OK?  It’s gonna be tough with the baby.”

Starr:  “Why?  All he does is eat, burp, and whine.”

Blair:  “That’s what you did when you were his age.”

Starr:  “He’s boring.  Why don’t we train him to do something?”

Blair:  “Starr, Jack isn’t a puppy!”
