Al/Max:  Lessons in Fatherhood!!

At the quarry where Al has gone to think, he realizes Jen is pregnant with his baby.  Max arrives (with a brand new close—almost crew cut haircut) to talk to Al.  Max misses his son and wants to work things out.  Al, with problems of his own, tells Max it’s a bad time for that.  However, they do begin to talk about fatherhood.  Max admits he made mistakes and lost a lot of things he cared about in the process.  Max asks for a second chance to be a father to Al.  Al was always Max’s top priority, but he didn’t want to deal with Gabrielle.  Max and Al discuss Frankie and Leslie.  Frankie has had a Cochlear Implant so he can hear.  Frankie is thriving where he is and Max doesn’t want to disrupt them.  Max invites Al to visit them when Max does.  Max tells Al things are over with Gabrielle but he still wants to be Al’s father.  Max assures Al he will always be there for Al.  Al asks him to leave him alone to think, but he does call Max “Dad”.

Natalie/Chad/Seth:  A Warning!!

In the Student Union at the University, Natalie invites Chad to go with her to Llantano Mountain, as Seth is able to hear the plans.  Seth pulls Natalie aside to warn her to be careful of Allison.  She is up to something and wanted Natalie to be on alert.  Natalie assures Seth she does not trust Allison and she is not getting any money from her.  Seth wishes her well with her new family.  After Natalie leaves, Chad asks Seth for advice about dating Natalie.  What does she like/dislike, etc.?  Seth refuses to help.

Keri/Antonio:  A Budding Romance!!

At the University Student Union, Antonio and Keri discuss date plans.  Keri informs Antonio he has been nominated for the Mackenzie Award based on the paper he wrote for Keri and she needs a date for the awards dinner.  Playfully, Keri asks Antonio to leave her alone to grade papers.  Antonio asks her to dinner and whatever else may occur.  They passionately kiss and Antonio leaves.

Viki/Jessica/Natalie:  Advice to the Lovelorn!!

On the indoor patio at Llanfair, Jessica asks Viki for advice about Seth.  Jessica still cares about him in spite of what Seth did to her.  Jessica tells Viki how sorry Seth is for his part in the Allison/Natalie controversy.  Viki is skeptical of Seth and his sincerity.  Viki doesn’t want Seth to hurt her again.  Jessica has made up her mind to give him another chance, but how will it make Natalie feel?  Also, how will Viki feel about it?  Viki tells Jessica she needs to do what is right for her even if it may make Natalie unhappy.   As for Viki, she only wants Jessica to be happy.  Natalie arrives and Viki leaves for a meeting at the university.  Natalie accuses Jessica of being deceitful in that she claims Jessica did not want Seth for herself, but she has all along. 

Viki runs into Seth at the Student Union at the University and threatens to make his life awful if he ever hurts Jessica or Natalie again.

Jen/Rae/Cristian/Lindsey:  A Girl in Trouble!!

At the Family Planning office at Llanview Hospital, Jen and Rae begin to talk about her situation.  Cristian comes into Rae’s office.  Rae leaves them alone in her office to talk.  Lindsey tries to go in the office as well, but Cristian slams the door in her face.  Why didn’t Jen tell Cristian she is pregnant?  Outside in the hall, Lindsey and Rae discuss what is going on in the office.  Lindsey wants to go in to “help” her daughter.  Rae strictly forbids it.  Lindsey and Rae leave.  As soon as Lindsey sees Rae go on the elevator, Lindsey sneaks back in right outside the Family Planning Office door. 

Cristian tells Jen he wants a baby very badly.  Cristian is so happy she is pregnant that he proposes marriage to her.   Lindsey enters the room and interrupts the moment.  Lindsey claims she is happy things have worked out this way.  Cristian says he will go find a ring and get the ball rolling on getting married.  Cristian leaves.  Jen and Lindsey discuss the fact that Cristian doesn’t even suspect the baby would be someone else’s.  Jen wants to tell Cristian the truth and Lindsey tries to tell her not to tell him.  Will Cristian still want to marry her?  Lindsey says she will keep Jen’s secret if she decides not to tell Cristian the truth.  Jen decides telling Cristian would hurt him too much.  Jen receives a cell phone call from Al wanting to talk.  After hanging up, Jen and Lindsey discuss the possibility that Al knows he is the father of Jen’s baby.  Jen, however, did not know Cristian was right outside the door where he could hear the conversation, but Lindsey did know he was there.

Gabrielle/Renee/Asa/Bo/Max:  The Fight Has Begun!!

At the Palace Restaurant, Gabrielle is eating lunch and tells Renee she wants to stay in a room at the hotel.  Renee rips Gabrielle’s plate from her and says no.  Asa arrives and assures Gabrielle that she will get nothing from Asa when they divorce, pre-nup or no pre-nup.  Bo, Hank, and Rae also arrive and watch with Renee as Asa and Gabrielle argue.  Gabrielle tells Bo she will testify to all Asa has done.  Bo watches as Gabrielle vows to fight Asa.  Bo condemns Asa for putting his family through the torture of believing he was dead.  Bo tells Asa that any account with Asa’s or Jeb Stuart’s name on them has been frozen.  Max arrives to join in, as well.  Rae gets a call from Judge Hopper with the name of her new court appointed patient—Asa!  Asa tells Rae she will not be his counselor after he has a talk with the judge.  Renee throws Asa, Max and Gabrielle out of the restaurant and Bo says Gabrielle can stay with him since she has no home.

Comic Relief:

Asa:  “Who would ever believe a lyin’ jailbird tramp like you, huh?”

Gabrielle: “A jury, that’s who.  And I will tell the truth so incredibly well that they won’t have a choice but to believe me.”

Asa:  “You wouldn’t know the truth if it bit you on the butt.”
