One Life to Live Recap for Monday, February 25, 2002

Carlotta, Antonio, Keri

Carlotta is just standing in Antonio’s doorway after dropping the groceries on the floor.  Antonio and Keri are speechless and Carlotta apologizes and walks out into the hallway.  Antonio puts on his pants and goes out to talk to her.  She tells him she’s sorry, she didn’t know he had company and she tries to hand him her key, saying he should probably give it to someone else.  He tells her that it’s his fault because he wasn’t supposed to be home and he should have told her about Keri.  He tells her that he and Keri are back together and she says she can see that.  He says he was going to tell her but he just hasn’t gotten a chance.  She’s very upset and he tells her that he’s happy and she should be happy for him.  She can’t seem to accept it and she tells him she’s leaving and she’s sorry. 

Inside the apartment, Keri is getting dressed and finds the newspaper Carlotta brought over with the ads circled for the personal ads she wants to show Antonio.  Keri is very upset and when Antonio comes back in he tells her that it will just take some time and they will all forget what happened.  She shows him the newspaper and tells him that it’s not that his mother found him with a woman…it’s that his mother found him with her…with RJ’s daughter and that Carlotta would much prefer he go after one of the Latina women in the personals.  He assures her that he’s not interested in that and says he’s going down to talk to his mother.  He wants her to come down in a few minutes and start to get to know Carlotta and she doesn’t want to.  He convinces her to come down anyway. 

Antonio goes down and talks with Carlotta.  She is still very upset because she thought he had broken up with Keri and that he couldn’t be with her.  He explained to her that they tried being apart and that they were miserable.  She asks him if it’s so easy to forget that she’s RJ’s daughter and he says it’s not easy, but he’s doing it because he loves her and she is not RJ.  Carlotta is not so sure.  She tells him that she remembers when Andy was “the one” and he tells her this is different.  Antonio tells her that Keri is a wonderful, warm, kind and giving person and beautiful, too.  Carlotta says there are lots of beautiful girls out there and Antonio says he has found the one. Carlotta tells him that if he’s happy, then she’s happy for him.  He goes out to put money in his parking meter and Keri comes down and is alone with Carlotta in the diner.  Carlotta says she has something to say to Keri and Keri says she has something to say to her.

Troy, Lindsay, Nora

Troy is still chained to the wheel trying to break free.  He’s starting to have bad symptoms from the spider venom…difficulty breathing, neurological disorientation.  He knows that it will all lead to death if he doesn’t get out of there. 

Back in Troy’s office, Nora is searching Troy’s computer as Lindsay quietly walks in and sees her.  Lindsay hides behind the door.  Outside Troy’s office a nurse tells Claire, the hospital administrator, that Troy’s patients are getting angry because he can’t be found.  Claire is mad that he has disappeared and goes into his office to see if there is anything on his desk to give her a clue as to where he is.  She finds Nora at his computer and tells her she is not allowed to be doing that.  Nora tells her that she’s Troy’s lawyer and needs some information.  Claire refuses to let her stay on the computer and when Claire is not looking, Nora slips a file into her coat marked “personal.”  Nora and Claire start talking about Troy and Claire is badmouthing Lindsay, saying she can’t believe Troy would run off to marry her.  They don’t know that Lindsay is behind the door and Claire says that Troy must be deaf, dumb and blind to want to be with Lindsay.  She admits to Nora that at first she had a crush on him, but he told her he was taken.  She tells Nora that she thought Troy mean that he was involved with Nora and Nora quickly says she has Sam.  They leave the office and Lindsay starts ripping the office apart looking for the tape.  It is nowhere to be found and she is very frustrated.

Jen, Cris, Al, Natalie

Natalie and Al are still arguing over the fact that Natalie wants to tell Cris and Jen that Al can walk.  Now they are all together and Natalie asks Al if he wants to tell them the news.  He hesitates and starts to talk, but Jen gets a call on her cell phone from Lindsay’s assistant saying she hasn’t seen her.  Jen is very worried and says she’s going to look for her.  Al wants to get out of confessing, so he convinces Cris to go with Jen so she won’t have to drive when she’s so upset.  Cris and Jen don’t think it’s a good idea, but Al convinces them to go together and they leave.

As Lindsay is coming out of Troy’s office, she runs into Jen and Cris.  Jen asks her what’s going on and Lindsay is surprised that Cris told Jen she was in Llanview since Lindsay asked him not to.  Jen thanks Cris for helping her find Lindsay and he leaves.  Jen asks her what’s wrong and Lindsay says Troy left his passport behind.  Jen tells her she’s lying and wonders why she’s hiding behind the sunglasses.

Back at the Break Bar, Jess and Seth are behind the bar serving drinks.  Jess is getting lots of big tips and says she is going to help pay for those expensive concert tickets that Seth bought.  Seth gets upset and says he is paying them off and he wants to do things for her.  She says she’s not that shallow and she can pay sometimes when they go out.  He says he wants to do things for her to show how he feels and she says that if he lets her pay sometimes, it will let her show him how she feels also.  He agrees that sometimes it’s ok.

Natalie and Al are in the Break Bar and are arguing over Natalie telling Cristian about Al.  Al tells her that she should understand what it’s like to love someone and be terrified to lose them.  She tells him that she’s done too many bad things to people and she’s not going to hurt more people by keeping his lie going.  She tells him he doesn’t love Jen if it’s all built on a lie.  She tells him that when Cris comes back, she’s going to tell him.

Back at the funhouse

Troy is starting to hallucinate and hears Nora calling his name.  He sees her standing in front of him.
