 “FUN” HOUSE OF HORRORS!

“Colin” shoves Lindsay inside the funhouse, where she immediately reminds him that he promised to take her to see Troy. Annoyed, he sarcastically retorts: “Oh, yeah..and everybody knows that Colin doesn’t lie!” Lindsay’s eyes widen in fear, much to her captor’s annoyance. He impatiently points her in the direction of a funhouse tunnel and abruptly tells her that Troy is at the end. Lindsay skeptically embarks on the quest for Troy, cautiously making her way through the tunnel, calling out to Troy.  Troy, amused in Lindsay’s torment, prepares to put Phase Seven of the Twin Revenge Plot into motion. We watch as Lindsay tries to find her way out of the tunnel and Troy does a “Clark Kent turns to Superman” transformation. Lindsay continues to call out to Troy, while breaking through accumulated cobwebs, and Troy finally answers her call in his best, “I’m here, I’m being held captive, and I’m hurt” voice. Lindsay rushes out of the tunnel to him, quickly attempting to free him from his handcuffs. Troy starts to warn Lindsay that Colin is ‘back”, and she’s in grave danger, because he hates Lindsay more than he hates Troy.

Lindsay tells him that the most important thing at the moment is that they get Troy free.

She starts hugging him and pouring out words of love to him. Breathless, Troy tells her that they have to get out of there, because Colin is coming after them. Lindsay, consumed with fear and guilt, blurts out that she knows why Colin is doing this…it’s because of her! More Superbroom fuel drains from the gas tank!

THE MANNINGS: QUALITY TIME:

Blair holds Jack on a couch, Starr sits beside her mother, coloring a drawing, and Todd stands over the desk looking over some business documents. A rare, quiet Cleaver moment—(NOT!!) Two seconds into the quiet serenity the phone rings. It’s Gabrielle, kindly informing him that she’s taken the liberty of revamping The Sun’s style-editing cover. The Manning ladies watch as the patriarch launches into an explosive screaming match with an invisible opponent. Blair is on alert, awaiting some clue as to who has her husband on edge this time. A few seconds later, he mentions Gabrielle, telling her that she already has the job she wants, and if she want to keep said job, she’ll undo whatever she did and never play around with his paper again. Blair grabs the phone and adds, “And another thing…don’t ever call our house again.” Starr joins in the ritual with a question for her father….Why is the “Englishey” lady with the funny accent working for him now? The doorbell rings just as she ‘s told that Gabbie is blackmailing Todd.

Todd takes on the task of answering it, and in one motion, he opens the door and simultaneously slams it in Hank and Rae’s face. The doorbell rings again, and this time, Blair answers the door. Rae and Hank quickly hand her the gift-wrapped box that Rae is toting and she says,

“We brought a gift for the baby, and some news for you.”

Blair, both confused and curious, invites them in and thanks them for the gift. With a menaced Todd watching the whole scene from his hermit corner, Rae and Hank enter their living room and take a seat on the couch across from Blair and Jack.

Starr rudely tells Rae that it’s not polite..(she’s one to give advice in that field!), to bring a gift for a baby and ignore the older child. Blair is appalled, but Rae excuses Starr’s outburst as she reaches for a larger gift-wrapped box and assures Starr that she’s absolutely right about not forgetting about the older child, and that’s why she bought Starr a gift as well. Starr snatches the box from Rae, again, much to her mother’s appall, and Blair tells Starr that the least she could do is say “Thank you”.

Rae gets right to the point of the  surprise visit,. Blair is no longer obligated to attend therapy sessions. The judge has allowed the remainder of her sentence to be waived. Hank adds that her probation has also been forgiven. Blair, in happy shock, gives them a kiss of gratitude and thanks them endlessly. They wish her well and are off.

BO/GABRIELLE: YOU’RE BUSTED, LADY!

Gabrielle leans authoritatively on her new desk as she attempts to ambush Todd with her changes in the cover of The Sun’s style page. Her power conference call is quickly turned into a humbling experience as she turns to see Bo standing in her office doorway, wondering what she’s doing there. Having had her call to Todd forcibly disconnected by   Blair on the other end, Gabrielle is forced to face Bo while thinking fast to explain how she got such a lavish job from the town demon, who hates everyone, especially her., Medina has to think fast! Can she do it? Tick..tock..tick..tock…And she does it! Way to go, Gabrielle!

She tells Bo that she desperately needs money to pay for Al’s medical costs. Bo reminds her that Asa offered to pay for all of the expenses, but, she again defiantly rejects that option. Bo shrugs, then moves on to tell her that he assumes she’ll be looking for her own place now. (Duck, Gabby!)  She sure didn’t see that one coming!! (Uh-huh, sure.) She agrees, then rescinds the agreement, telling Bo that she’ll not be able to pay for Al’s medical expenses if she moves out right now. Bo tells her to take her time, since she has a job now. He heads for the door, but before telling her to be careful not to underestimate Todd Manning.

NORA BUCHANAN: MAGNUM, P.I:

Nora arrives at RJ’s door with a box of Keri’s things. Keri answers the door and they exchange a passing joke about Keri having yet another box of belongings to have around RJ’s already-cluttered house. RJ takes the box from Nora, as to prevent Keri from straining her bruised wrist, and sets it on a desk. Keri rummages through the box, and comes across a Valentine’s Day card she’d intended to mail to Antonio. Nora notices her sadness and tries to comfort Keri. She ask her what is the problem between her and Antonio, and Keri tells her what isn’t the problem? Her lover and her father can’t keep from going at each other’s throats for more than two seconds whenever they’re in the same room together, and Antonio can’t get around the fact that she lives with RJ now.

Keri looks down at the card again, and quickly rushes off to hide her tears. Nora watches sympathetically as the younger woman scurries off to mend yet another chapter of the Broken Heart.

Nora calls out to RJ, who impatiently asks her what she wants, he has to hurry and get ready for his club’s grand opening. Nora tells him that she needs his help with someone. RJ tells her that as she can see, he’s a little pressed for time, so he can’t help anyone do anything. Nora tells him that he definitely will  have time, because the person that she needs help with is Lindsay. (definitely got his attention there!) He stops and immediately turns to Nora. What about Lindsay? Nora gives him a synopsis of the latest Lindsay newsflash and tells RJ that she needs to know what he knows about what happened between her and Lindsay at Colin’s. RJ recovers from a moment of fear and tells her that he can’t tell her anything because he doesn’t know anything.

Nora, frustrated, reminds him that when she first came back from captivity at Colin’s and showed up at his door, it was he who’d strongly cautioned her that Lindsay was not to be considered her friend by any means. Now why would he have done that if he didn’t know anything? Despite all of the guilt trips that Nora had pulled out of her hat to throw at RJ, he didn’t budge on his proclamation of ignorance. Nora, disappointed, tells him that it doesn’t matter what he does or doesn’t tell her, because the truths are going to be revealed one way or another. RJ is desperate to know what she means, and she gives him a few teaser bit of info about her involuntary involvement in a master plan that will tell all. What is it that she’s involved in? RJ wants to know, and she tells him that she’s not exactly sure what it is, but it’s something big. Is anyone going to get hurt? RJ probes. Nora, just before she makes a slow exit, leaves him with a cliffhanging, spine-tingling..

“I hope not.”

THE VEGAS: LLANVIEW’S HOT NEW GAME SHOW!!

HOOOOOO-WEEEE! Welcome to Llanview’s version of “The Family Feud”, folks!

Today’s contestants are: THE VEGAS! And meet the opponents…THE VEGAS! No, this is not a mistake folks! Meet your host, Antonio Vega. Meet the first contestant, Cristian Vega. Antonio’s little brother, confidant, and co-relationship commiserator.

And, now his opponent, Carlotta Vega. Antonio and Cristian’s mom, protector, and warrior against the Gannon cartel. And now..LET’S PLAY THE FEUD!!!

The Vega boys, occupying a booth in the family diner, co-commiserate about their broken relationships gone bad.

Cris to Antonio: “When are you going to stop moping around about Keri?”

Antonio to Cris: “When are you going to stop moping around about Jen?”

(Just a little one-line humor taken out of a Steven Seagal movie to break the ice).

Cris tells his brother that what happened between him and Jen is irreversible, because she’s moved on, but Keri is crazy about him as he is about her, and they owe it to themselves to make things work whether RJ is her father or not.

Enter Carlotta, in full armor. If she had a sword, Cris would have been sushi by now. She charges at Cristian with a slew of Spanish verbal bashes that would make you cringe even if you didn’t understand the language. YEEEOOUUCH!!

Don’t fret about Cristian just yet, folks! He can take a beating, and he sure took this one with grace. He fights back, too! Carlotta’s native bashing interpreted into her telling her youngest son that he should be damned for advising Antonio to make things work with RJ’s daughter. Antonio is better off not having anything to do with “that girl” OR her father. Cris counters, telling his mother that she’s wrong for judging Keri by her father, since her son is crazy about her and he’s miserable without her. They argue Antonio’s life, explosively, at that, while the subject of their debate stands by helplessly, desperately trying to get a word of his own defense in edgewise. He finally gets a chance and tells his family that they need to end the debate, because he and Keri are not going to happen. Carlotta and Cris, although no longer yelling, exchange gazes that betray the still-smoldering cinders of their verbal war.

Carlotta grabs her purse and heads to leave, but not before throwing a sharp, cutting glance at her youngest son, who returns the favor with a cutting glance of his own.

Looks like a stand-off, folks!

PAGING DR. BEN DAVIDSON! TO THE ER—STAT!

Ben and Jessica manage to get Roxanne to the hospital to draw the tests they need to prove that Roxanne is scheming. Roxanne, still trying to escape the tests, continues to proclaim that she doesn’t want to be poked around like a pincushion. Jessica convincingly tells Roxy that she’s her mother, and she just wants to make sure that Roxy gets the best possible medical treatment there is because she cares about her. Roxy says that she appreciates Jessie’s concern, really she does, but she doesn’t want to be stuck again. Jessica says that Roxy will be fine, and she’ll be with her through the whole thing, which will only take a few minutes.

Roxy, pacing the hospital floor like a cat walking over hot coals, replies that Jessica and Ben already sang that song, and she’s already been there for an hour without having had anything being done. Jess says that she can at least go find out what’s taking everyone so long. Jessica hurries off and Roxy nervously sighs, trying to figure out what to do next.

As she’s thinking, she hears someone hissing at her to get her attention, she turns around and sees Allison, (who apparently swiped Lindsay’s Superbroom to get to the hospital), dressed up like a mugger this time, but still hanging on to those “Men In Black” Sunglasses.

“Allison? What are you doing here?” Roxy said, chuckling with nervous relief. Allison replies that she’s there to make sure that Roxy doesn’t foil their plan. Roxy frantically tells her that Ben and Jess want to tae a sample of her blood, and Allison stresses that Roxy do everything she can to make sure that they don’t get one. Just as she says that, Ben and Jess return, with a blood test kit, and the man from the Brawny paper towel commercial. Roxy is horrified now, and she starts to act psychotic as she watches Ben approach her with a needle. (think fast, Roxy! Think fast! Get out of this jam! Get out of this jam! He’s getting closer..closer…clo..) Her thoughts come to an end as she collapses into the greatest staged faint in the history of acting. Jessica and Ben rush to her side and tries to “revive” her, as Allison observes the scene with a smug grin. Roxy actually pulled it off…..

…NOT! Roxy “comes to”, and Ben and Brawny are ready for her. They restrain her and in one quick motion, Ben gets his blood sample! Flash to Allison, who approaches a red-headed patient and asks what the patient is in the hospital for….(Do we really need to guess what’s going to happen next?)

Later, the Psycho-Pals meet again, where Roxy says she did everything she could to stop them, and where the hell was Allison when she was being held down? Allison tells her that she was searching for someone she could trade blood samples with. So much for hospital security and patient confidentiality!

BACK TO THE HOUSE THAT “COLIN” BUILT!

Troy gives Lindsay a panicked, breathless account of how he was attacked by “Colin” as he was getting in his car to come home. He hit him from behind, and although Troy was hurt, he just had to get a call to Lindsay to save her from danger. Lindsay tries to comfort him despite her own panic and he continues on…

Colin threatened to do some horrible things to him, Troy tells Lindsay. Lindsay says that Colin is angry with her, so why would he want to hurt Troy? Troy breathlessly says he doesn’t know, but he says that Colin further told him that he was plotting revenge because of what Lindsay did to him. Lindsay denies having done anything, but Troy pleads with her to tell him the truth, because Colin already told him everything that happened, everything that Lindsay did…and he’s out for revenge. He again pleads with Lindsay to tell him the truth about everything she did to Nora, because if she doesn’t Colin is going to kill him. Lindsay stares at him, but her expression is unreadable…

Tune in tomorrow, folks! Round three of “The “Ghost and the Superbroom” Showdown continues! Will we finally see that infamous Superbroom reach its demise?

KERI/ANTONIO:

As if the heated feud between his mother and brother wasn’t bad enough, the diner suddenly blows out. Antonio heads behind the counter and lights a candle, then heads to the back. Enter Keri, dressed to kill in a two-piece strapless gown and jacket set, and she calls out to anyone. Enter Antonio, and both stare at each other in silence…..
