Courthouse Restroom

Lindsay confronts Nora with a syringe, accusing Nora of sending it to her to ruin her happiness. Nora denies any knowledge of the incident. Lindsay says Nora will not get in the way of her happiness this time. The women struggle and Lindsay is stuck by the needle – luckily it’s empty. Nora is relieved but Lindsay thinks it’s all an act.

Lindsay accuses Nora of trying to drive her into confessing to erasing Nora’s memories. Nora finally convinces Lindsay she didn’t send the syringe. Then who did? Lindsay wonders. Lindsay goes on about how she and Troy are in love and she needs Nora to leave her alone. Nora has no intentions of intruding on Lindsay’s happiness. Lindsay professes her genuine love for Troy. Nora feels sorry for her – and blurts out that Troy isn’t going to marry her.

Lindsay takes the ‘warning’ as another attempt to destroy her happiness and she lashes out at Nora. Nora tries to make Lindsay listen to her, but Lindsay says she is glad Nora has lost her memories – she deserves it. Nora is stung by the viciousness of Lindsay’s words and decides to let Lindsay go and walk into Troy’s trap.

Troy’s Loft

Sam never did know what made Lindsay happy and he is jealous that Troy does. Sam doesn’t believe the handcuffs have anything to do with ‘pleasing’ Lindsay. Troy doesn’t care what Sam believes.

Troy says the reason Sam’s marriage to Lindsay fell apart is that he never knew what she really wanted – Troy does. Sam doesn’t believe Troy is in love with Lindsay and accuses him of being in love with Nora. Troy insists he is in love with Lindsay. Why? Sam wants to know. Not that he owes Sam any explanations, but Troy spells out what he loves about Lindsay – she’s smart, talented, beautiful and sexy.
