One Life to Live Recap for Friday, February 1, 2002

Nora’s House

Nora wonders to herself why she can’t let go of her vendetta against Lindsay and why she is allowing Troy to go through with his plan.

Troy’s Loft

Troy sets up his cell phone to call his home phone, pretending it’s a prank call, which Lindsay assumes is from Nora. She tries to *69 the call, but it doesn’t work, much to Troy’s relief. He urges Lindsay to let it go and asks her to elope with him to Paris – tomorrow. Lindsay agrees and Troy goes to take a shower. Lindsay calls Nora to taunt her about being with Troy and warn her to stop the harassing phone calls. Nora tries to deny responsibility but Lindsay pays no attention, saying she is eloping with Troy and hanging up.

Lindsay is leaving when she encounters someone in the hallway…

Carriage House

Natalie walks in on Jessica and Seth making out on the couch. Jessica tries to apologize and tells Seth to leave so she can talk to Natalie alone.

Llanfair

Viki is still distraught that she didn’t know the wrong baby had been returned to her when Jessica was kidnapped. Ben points out that babies change a great deal in the first few weeks of life. Viki thinks she should have known the difference.

As they are talking, Seth wanders in and tells them that he and Jessica were at the carriage house. Viki remembers that Natalie was headed down there and suspects there could be trouble. She leaves to check on the girls. Seth tells Ben that he and Jessica were on the couch when Natalie walked in.

Carriage House

Jessica tells Natalie that she is going to have to accept Jessica’s relationship with Seth. Natalie is in no mood to hear Jessica’s explanation and slaps her. The two end up in an all-out catfight until Natalie falls down the stairs. Jessica is worried Natalie is really hurt, but she suddenly gets up and pushes Jessica through the railing – just as Viki walks in the door.

Silver Moon Dress Shop

Bo drags Gabrielle into the shop and the owner identifies her as the woman who stole the dress. Gabrielle denies the incident and says she sold her outfit to the church thrift store. Bo points out that she was caught on the store’s surveillance camera. Bo pays for the dress and convinces the owner not to press charges. Gabrielle promises to pay him back and Bo warns her that she had better not pull a stunt like that again. Gabrielle has an idea of how to solve her current employment problem.

Rodi’s

Todd makes sure that David has been taken care of and meets Blair for a celebration of their anniversary – of the day they first met. They reminisce about how their interesting relationship began. Blair surprises Todd by singing ‘Unforgettable’ to him. The entire bar applauds and the manager asks Blair to come back for a repeat performance. He drags her away to discuss details.

Gabrielle approaches Todd and asks him how David is doing…

Colin’s Grave

Troy visits the grave to promise Colin this will be the last time he saves his butt. He knows Colin couldn’t have wiped out Nora’s memories – he was in love with her. He vows to prove that Lindsay was the perpetrator – and says Colin is going to help him do it. Nora is hiding in the shadows listening to Troy’s proclamation.

Line of the Day

Ben: I’m a doctor, I’m allowed to say this: Babies really do look alike.

Viki: Oh they do not!
